I can see everyone's points. I'm just worried about the lag... The potential added issues.
And gosh darn it that new ugly UI needs to go.

If not, don't come whining later about changes and bugs you don't like.

^Exactly This.^
I concede that ZOS is responsible for their part of the Alpha testing and QA of Dark Brotherhood.
However, in PTS I don't see a whole lot of players actually in there doing testing and submitting feedback.
But, just like the prior DLCs, we'll get a lot of forum questions and QQ from PC players who haven't even bothered to download the PTS ...

We live in a world of patches. Almost nothing that you'll buy any more won't have some sort of bugs to be ironed out post launch. Just accept it. This is not a ZOS issue. It's a technology issue.
This is true, and I mostly agree.
But... When bugs are brought to the proper areas and are discussed with the masses, it is important to clean those issues up during beta. This dates back as long as the PTS has been around.
Thats not always possible. And pretending as if it is just shows your level of ignorance regarding programming. Some of these problems will never have a fix, some will have a touchy fix that breaks every time something changes, some will be pretty benign and will unfortunately be placed on a list of known issues that theyll get around to when they can.
I personally wish theyd patch more often. But thats a decision thats not being made on the developers level but the managements.

Actually, @Korah_Eaglecry, I work for another, much smaller, game. I know what a proper beta period should entail. These beta sessions on the PTS are not addressing issues in the slightest. They appear to have an agenda in what they want to work on and fix at all times.

Hmmm. If youre so experienced. How about you put a resume in with ZOS and teach them a thing or two about proper betas instead of claiming to be a developer for another game. By the way, Im the pope.

In previous PTS sessions a lot of players, including me, have provided feedback. they didn't care and threw out their buggy mess. the game itself is still in a beta phase and therefore it doesn't matter if a beta dlc will be release or not. at least it seems ZOS is thinking like that.
I think what you're actually saying is, "ZOS didn't listen to me so therefore they don't listen to anyone", when in fact, there have been a lot of changes that have occurred or will occur before launch because of feedback left in PTS forum. Therefore, just because they didn't listen to YOU or adopt whatever changes you advocated, doesn't mean they do not listen.

nope. read the what i wrote: a lot of players. go through old pts comments and the bugs that have been posted. they got ignored in 99%. and we're talking about bugs, not things some people simply don't like.

If this is the case, you know that the PTS is not really a beta. When they release to PTS they are essentially done with the major features. What they want to see is play test, including how people use the features and what they think. They will tweak, and fix bugs. They will change stuff based on feedback, but this is limited because the goal here is not to resolve everything before they release. They only have a few weeks. Anything they don't fix is tossed onto the backlog, but we have to remember that the team is moving to another DLC.

Knowing ZoS they will release the DLC mess the game up even more (is that even possible at this point?) Ignore the playerbase for a couple of weeks until everything dies down abit and then slap a "we're working on it' reply on the forums and start working on the next DLC.
Dark Brotherhood is about to be released in 10 days... Do you think they have allowed enough time for it to be BETA tested for bugs, exploits, and issues? Please get involved with the discussion and if your answer isn't an option here, please explain in your response!

There will always be bugs exploits and issues unless you want to leave the DLC on PTS for several years. You have to compromise between releasing content bug-free, and releasing content on schedule to keep your players interested.
One month seems like a good compromise for me.
