Also, my interpretation of the ESO live on Friday about VR removal:
    1) Champion Rank max is 160;
    2) You will keep all champion points you have "spent" but won't be able to spend anymore beyond the 160 cap but will still accrue beyond. E.g., I have 408 CPs spent on my toons, will be able to accrue more but won't be able to "spend" more until the cap is raised.

Is this true? The PTS notes say 501 but ESO Live from Friday suggests that 160 is the max. Some clarification would be appreciated.

So ESO removes character progress after 50? Alts are already boring to play due to being overpowered with current CPs.

Am I missing something? Where is the reason to play and advance when you hit 50?

Just to make myself clear, when you hit max level, max gear, you wun...The end.
Is that it at level 50 for ALL my chars? So my chars at reach level 50 and gets all my CPs?

If this is true, then that's a game killer for me. There is no reason what so ever to play a character, if you don't PLAY IT....
I have been playing ESO since launch, as a subscriber and love the community from guilds to the drama in Cyrodiil. That part I don't easily just leave, but.....

Please tell me that I am wrong, and there is a CHARACTER specific progress system, beyond CPs, skill points, achievements and gear?

At least make Champion points CHARACTER specific, for ALL. Us "vets" as well.

Will the new motifs drop from boxes saved before the update hits live?

They didn't from the Wrothgar containers when TG was released.

We know the drops rates are horrible for the motifs, i can not find anyone who actually saved 20+ of the boxes and tried. Did you collect a whole bunch of the rewards and when the update hit opened them?

I mean, the provisioning sacks worked when they added new recipes and the emberosa pages, just want some solid reply or someone who actually saved a big bunch of them and tried.

ps: You can save 10 and not get anything, i know because i did 10 daily dungeon quests in wrothgar and got nothing from them.

    Under Item Trait Improvements:

Charged: This trait now increases your chance to apply status effects instead of increasing the amount of enchantment charges on your weapon.

    (1) What are "status effects"?

    (2) How many "status effects" are there and what does each one of them do?

    (3) What do you mean by "increases your chance"?

As far as I know, currently, I (my character) cannot "apply" any "status effect" upon any item, therefore the chance of doing so is zero. Does the change make the probability of applying a "status effect" 1.0 (certainty)?

Please write patch notes in plain English and avoid game-developer jargon!! You don't impress me with it. Rather, I find your ability to explain features of the game is rather limited and the writing is (probably like the game software source code), apparently hurried. Thus it is full of ambiguities, lacking complete information, and has several outright errors.

Thank you for your time and attention to this question.

    @Shadowshire
    1) Status effects are negative effects that have a chance to get applied on an enemy when dealing elemental/poison/disease damage. They can also be applied with their respective weapon enchantments.
    2) Types:
Burning - Very weak DoT over 9 secs.
Frozen - 20% less speed for 5 secs.
Shocked - 15% less damage for 5 secs.
Poisoned - Weak DoT over 5 secs.
Diseased - 15% healing reduction for 5 secs.
    3) The basic chance of applying these effects with weapon enchantments is 15%. The trait increases it to 25%.

I had about 40 containers; I was leveling a toon and wanted a specific V16 piece for another. (Didn't get it, either. Still don't have it.) I want to say -- but can't find the reference - that Gina said that containers were coded differently pre- and post- TG.

That doesn't mean it'll be the same this time... but I'm guessing it will.

Thank you for your input, i will continue to gather them and open them on DB release. Even if they do not drop anything, it was xp and items that could be deconstructed for mats either way.

So with the Elite Gear Vendor am I right to understand I can now purchase Ravager set pieces at 160CP for 248k AP after the DB update? Or is it limited to only the random chance loot boxes being scaled to 160 CP?

Completely wrong and theyve never even mentioned it to work that way. 501 is the max spendable. CP Rank 160 is a different way of saying Vet 16. The only things CP Rank 160 limits is gear level and NPC level.

Thank you, got nothing to do on my main, so will continue with collecting heist rewards and tip board rewards. As i said, even if nothing drops at least i gained xp and have more items to decon.

I'm still trying to understand this. Here's my simple question:

Can my V1 wear my V16's gear after DB comes out?

I hope the answer is yes because then I can really start investing in set gear and swapping it between characters depending on how I want to play them. So if I could craft a set of what is now VR16 heavy armor and have any of my other lower level but still vet toons use it...well that would be cool.

As along as you have 160 cp, any of your Lv 50 characters can wear anything they wish.

Sweet! My alts can all share gear now! Basically this opens up a whole new way to manage my gear. I have one of those over priced personal bankers. I could keep full sets of light, medium, and heavy gear in my bank and then pull whatever I need out before running a dungeon or PvP or whatever I'm gonna' do. This wasn't feasible before because they were all different levels so it would have taken too much space.

While I am not happy about this change - I think you should reconsider going to 10 seconds and halving the magicka cost of the shield. Do you guys not want people on the Non CP campaign?

Why should sorc shields last longer then other shields?

I have some remarks to your opinion: 1)Templars are supposed to heal, 2)NB are supposed to go stealthy and 3)where does it say sorcs are supposed to go shieldy? I would agree with you if sorcs didn't do the most damage in the entire game. Why would you need shields if you do the most damage???? You want the best of both worlds like we all do but it is not fair if only one class would have this. I want you to think about this: why are the majority of players Sorcs and NB's?
See a trend: 1)I am a Templar and I never use BoL 2)my friends are NB and don't use cloak 3)You are not forced to use a shield or class defining skill, and don't start that you cannot survive without it.

So the other classes have reliable means to deal damage and survive, yet sorcs means of staying alive are: pet heals, blood magic, surge, and ward. How reliable do you think most of those are?

    Poison Mist (Mist Form morph):

Renamed this morph to Baleful Mist.
In addition to the changes made to the base ability, this morph now ticks and deals damage every second instead of every 1.5 seconds, causing it to deal damage 1 additional time over its duration.
This morph now deals Magic Damage instead of Poison Damage.

Does this mean the amount of dmg scales with your max magicka?
Has anyone seen the value of this on PTS yet? My vamprism isn't leveled on PTS and only God knows why we can't test Vampirism without having to level it first or wait for character copy...

Actually Sorc are not the best domage dealer of the game by far !! They are a burst class not an heavy domage dealer.

Second while sorc are still played I see a lot more of any other class then mine at any level except sometime in pvp but not always.

Third, while some player don't use their class defining skill all the time those still exist.

Fourth, issue had been fix !

I love this game. But I am PISSED. About pvp ppl making sorcs get nerfed in pvp. I'm sorry but did Molag Kena complain that I streak through her drop kick too any times? Did lord warden file a complaint because I use streak to let other people get into the portals and then choose the right one? It's smart playing. I ain't running away from him, I'm spacing and having fun with mechanics. Guess I'll just sprint for three seconds till I'm out of stam.

I'm more mad you made the most fun dungeons (wgt Icp) easier. That was the best stuff in the game. I'm not gonna get all excited to go run dark shade....leave hard content for those of us who cry for the challenge! I loved helping ppl with mechanics. I loved the challenge. I loved Molag kenas sexy voice. Now I'll just go two man it for the embers so I can...not pvp?

Streak is great for mobility and spacing in pve as well as an alternative to blocking since we have low Stam. Srsly shields are 1/2 in pvp, just apply the same punishment to sorc stuff....IN PVP.

I'm sorry Molag Kena complained too much. I'd rather have you nerf sorcs and leave wgt hard. That would be MORE fun.

    Wow.

    Anyways crafting bag is cool
