I wonder how many bankers were bought purely for this exploit xD

    Over 9000? :D

That's great! All of the items should be removed from the exploiters so they pay for their crimes, and ZOS can make a few $$$ from massive sale of Assistants :)

This. Even though it does come at a pretty inconvenient time for us EU players, you can not possibly justify letting this thing run it's course just so you get that extra few hours of gametime.

If you are going to take actions against such players, I'd like to remind you that their behaviour damaged and hindered everyone's experience in the EU community willing to play this evening/night.
I can't stand exploiters, especially if they ruin the fun of thousands to just get richer in a freaking game. I mean, this is not Wall Street. Go get a life, instead.

Agree (still think prime time is not the best to fix it), but Zeni should really ban those exploiters, if for nothing else, to show an example that they do not tolerate exploits. What really bothers me is, that probably nothing will happen to those people.

so they stop the entire euro megaserver on friday night at the big euro 7 till 10 slot

    to stop exploiters

why not stop the exploiters at 2am when only the hardcore are on? Please, this is prime time for a significant number of your player base.

Stopping an exploit is not a good enough reason for taking the service down at this time.

Taking the service offline should be seen as a last resort. If you need maintenance windows then declare them and fix stuff in them.

But friday evening to "fix an exploit"? Punish the exploiters not the whole of the euro community.

Economy is not existing here, it's kaput, as the Germans would say.

If you have the data of the exploiters as stated by @ZOS_GinaBruno it doesn't matter. Make a warning in game (for everyone to read), patch the game in the evening (of the time zone the players are from), take action against the exploiters (temporary ban / delete the items) -> problem solved.

What you are doing is simply looking for an excuse of their wrong approach.

This combined with the overall bad state of the game (look for the bug threads and the history of exploits / bugs) this is nothing more than another bad joke.

who cares about some cheap sold gold materials? does that hurt the innocent players no? Simply let them buy it cheap. seriously, who the hell cares?
you know how easy it is to get all that stuff, right? I'm mainly a pvp player sitting on ~4m and like 100 of each gold upgrade mat (without abusing game mechanics, besides i would never pay for a assistant as I'm not going to shove any money to zos until they fix their game). If you struggle paying for those mats, enjoy buying them cheaper for the next, let's say, 8 hours until it is fixed. no harm done.

Thats just one set, you keep referring to that but its hardly economy ruining. Prices are set by people. If a few people hold everything they can set whatever price they like.

Eg) you hold this set you refer to and are the only person....you can charge whatever you like for it without competition for price. Its fixing the market and its why economies in the real world have monopolies commissions, to stop it happening. Economies in game are governed the same way.

Well this set is a prime example.
    V14.
But I keep buying stuff for basically no gold at all.

Don't get me wrong: those I've bought from: thank you, I REALLY appreciate it, but with the current prices for everything, you can't really call this a healthy economy.

I love the amount of people that are complaining about this XD I understand being upset not being able to play at primetime, but damn. Go eat, watch some tv, ***, drinks some wine, have some fun outside of staring at a computer screen for once in your life!

For those that can play all the freakin time, big whoop. You lose out on 2-3 hours of "primetime."

For those that cannot play all the time, it sucks. Anyways, cheers from work from NA :)

    But you do of course.

the exploiters need money to buy all items. so either they already have the money (and the exploit doesn't matter) or they get the money by selling the items cheaper, which isn't feasible, especially when everyone knows about the exploit and could get their items as well.

And anyway, if (temporarily) banned and items destroyed / removed, the above issue is fixed anyway.

Sorry, but this is just nonsense.
