Its not my fault that you get 1 shot cause you have 15k health in V16 vet dungeons cause you think its fun to have 3k spell power and absolutely no defense at all. Your glass cannon PVP build may wreck face in IC, but you are a serious problem when you want to run the daily pledge for your molag kena shoulders.

I have had this so much recently and admittedly its usually PUG dps but its still frustrating. Have 20k health or some crazy sorc damage shield you keep up or don't blame the healer's weak heals :/
I'm kind of a small deal!

Preach!... It couldnt be their fault, oh no, they didnt stand in the red to long and surely they have enough HP at 13k-15h, I mean its enough in PvP.... /sarcasm off. From one healer to another, I feel your pain.

A couple of weeks ago, a DPS sporting only 15K health (not a sorc) was downright indignant and blaming me (the tank) for his constant dying. "Everyone has this amount of health!" Um, riiiight.

The worst are the ones screaming at me to grab aggro off them whilst running away from me.

Bring him to me and I will.

I'm not chasing you, using all my stam and dragging all the others out of AOEs.

Worst is the Netch boss. Just running around the room with adds followed by me followed by more adds. STAY STILL.

I play as a healer, but lately I have had to buff everyone on the team so much, due to the lack of stamina regen and nerfed builds, I buff and provide resources more than I heal ....so I learned to survive vWGT with barely 17k health >_< I literally got no room for Structured Entrophy on my bars.

Also what is up with so many vampire tanks lately? They take so much more damage in vWGT, they're squishier than the melee dps with low health, even when they hold block!

Best are guys who seem to be
    - glued to red zones
    - unable to block
    - receiving damage faster than you can heal them

Then leaving the group because of a "crappy healer". :s

Sorry, but DDs will die if they stand still as the boss ports on a player and does a huge aoe. As a tank you can only tank the big adds and maybe try to do some aoe dps yourself to help.

    Easy Fix :
It's ok to stay in aoes and try to pve with a pvp build, but then, you'll have no elem drain, no combat prayers and no repentance.

Btw, one shots have an easy fix as well : block heavy blows.

Healers have no spells to cure neither death nor l2p.

I don't mean stay still. Just run my direction so I can grab them. You can ignore the big boss. His damage is easy to avoid.

If I don't grab the adds, at least one dps or healer is down before the boss drops a second time.

I usually grab everything except the boss, block what I can, shield, heal, mitigate when my stam is gone and hope dps get down burning them down soon.

When someone is running away from me, it doean't help.

If they are a good player then fine.... one who knows how to block... move out of the stupid.... has some form of defensive skill on one of their bars so they aren't 100% reliant on a healer....

The problem comes when you get players who don't know how to avoid damage but rock up with 16k health anyway because they heard its a good idea to be able to do extra dps.

I still see typical as 20k.... that's still the majority (Thankfully).

Yes, it's annoying. Especially because most stampugplars will keep spamming it automatically and casually, not timing it for the right part of the pulls. Corpse management please!

While 16.5-18k health is prefect in a coordinated group with correct dps spec's, beastly tank, reactive healer and TS, it's hardly the same thing as joining a pug with 15k health. Amount of players that can rock 15k health in a messy pug and do well, it's like 0.01% of the ESO population lol. Rest will *** up.

These guys always seem to use some copy paste SypherPK PvP spec but with wrong morphs, drinks over food and more or less force you to heal spam from start to finish, loosing loads of dps. Nightmare for a healer.

Indeed. If this is true though then I must be a god at VR3 with way more than 15k Health and I'm not even using Armor Enchantments or Heavy Armor.

This happens to me there all the time. I use the shield bash sprint (assault?) to get to them fast and get the aggro. It didn't take me long to figure out that the tanks job on this boss is add control.

I'm an all dps with surprisingly high magic regeneration. i have about 14k health or less yet die as often, or less, as my other members in the dungeon. I remember a time in the sewers my entire team (random strangers) died and i was able to finish off a Lich and a dozen Ice Wraiths with half health just by shield stacking, using proc'd frags from curse, and restro staff to charge up my meteors ultimate. What was memorable about that day was the tank (dead) saying, "wow he tanks better than me". It made me feel good haha. Shield stacking in dungeons is godly!!

I've seen so many dps with 13k-ish health lately. I asked the first few if they needed food, then figured out this is the new normal. It's really a challenge nearly impossible to keep them alive in V16 dungeons where even normal mobs can do 15k+ damage.

This is so frustrating! If you get an add on you go towards the tank not screaming and flapping your arms to the other end of the room way out of the tank and healer's range.

I know with all my heart if I lose a wraith in CoH this is exactly what happens every damn time. I know they hit hard, I've got 3 beating on me and I can't chase you, so if you run away out of taunt range you're going to die.

The minimum amount of health required for a DPS can be calculated by this simple formula:

minimum health = enough to prevent you from being one-shotted + enough to keep you alive after that until the healer's heals can take effect

For most DPS, as long as you're smart enough to block and/or dodge the really big hits, the magic number is probably in the 16-17K range, but it depends on a few factors.
Also what is up with so many vampire tanks lately? They take so much more damage in vWGT, they're squishier than the melee dps with low health, even when they hold block!
Actually, with the reduction in the flame weakness for vampires with the IC update, I've considered going vampire on my tank. In theory the Undeath passive (increase damage mitigation when below 50% health) could make it worthwhile. I don't think I will though - if I did I'd probably put at least one flame resist enchant on my jewelry.

Or you could just max out the Flame/Frost/Shock Resist Champion Passive to completely negate that 25% more fire damage.
