I did not know that about you!...(I have some serious lute skills)...

Why exactly do we need to fight with those of our own faction? Are you talking about training/sparring to test builds and such? If that is the case, I totally agree with you and I do not see why having a training/sparring area in each of the major cities by the mages & fighters guild couldn't be done.

#edit They just have to make it unphased and cross-factional. Of course if you want access to Eyevea then you should still have to finish the Mage Guild Quest
I don't quite understand why Craglorn is not cross faction. Seems to me from what I've read that it's difficult to find questing groups and they don't make it any easier by keeping it faction specific?

I agree. In fact the main story of the game has us working together with all the three factions against Molag Bal. So I'm not sure why we as players can't actually do that: Adventure together with the other factions after our own characters reach that part in the story-line. The game sets itself up perfectly for it. I think they (development) have missed an opportunity, but hopefully that will be fixed in future, sometime.
That would be an interesting reward from Cadwell's. Does your idea apply to all zones, or would it be playing with other factions in their "own territory" that you are rewarded with, with neutral zones being cross-faction anyway?Woolenthreads wrote: »I would even support the idea of being able to play with other factions if you have the requisite Cadwell Quest. So EP could play with DC after completing Cadwells Silver etc.

There would be all sorts of places that are isolated by geography or political insignificance that want nothing to do with the fight. Not just pirates and criminals but wealthy merchant cities who keep the armies out to protect their sales to all three.
Change "the Prophet" to "Cadwell" and you have exactly the story that is already given for how Silver and Gold work. When Vet Ranks are removed, having cross-faction for Silver and Gold will be much easier as there will be less of a difference between the difficulty of the content.I'd like all zones to be cross-faction. It's easily explained with a little adjustment to the story too - just get the Prophet to express how important it is that the Vestige put his petty differences aside in the pursuit if Molag Bal and his minions.
Ofc the vestige is still welcome to go to war in Cyrodiil regardless
