Sigh
There are a lot of EU players who play just fine and have no problems with lag.
Post your system specs all you want, without proof of your connection to the Texas servers, it means nothing. You wanna know why I post that all the time? Because I have yet to see a single person do it, because they know if they do it, they will get caught out lying.
Are you able to say anything else then these words? Seams to be your only response to everyone who has the guts to say what their playing experience is like.
I did even post for you....but no response. I wonder....when you saw I had one hell of a system, your technical skills fell flat?
There are so many factors for lag other then your beloved "ping".
And there are quite a few EU players who play just fine without any big issues with lag. Previous fixes have even improved performance, even from us EU players which you claim is impossible to play from.
You can call me whatever you way. I post what I experience and if you believe me or not, I couldnt care less.
Here is hoping =D. At least we have a rough estimate now.c1r3gamerb16_ESO wrote: »Last night (Wed 4 June 2014 about 9 p.m. UK) experienced very noticeable lag spikes in town and also in open areas. Group members also noticed same. By 10 p.m. I logged out.
For past 10 days have also been noticing an increase in logging in times - sometimes over 2 minutes after clicking on character to play, also in game when zoning into instances or between areas so game flow is spoiled.
However I read in their latest update that they hope to move the EU server to Europe in the summer?
While I feel your frustration, this thread is specifically for EU players using the "EU" server. Which is nonsense to be honest, because the only solution to the constant lag is to move the servers. What you are experiencing is something completely different and it does indeed need fixing. So I don't really feel like reading through the 17 or so pages to see if anyones mentioned north american server lag, but i'm getting it bad and have been getting my ass kicked by it for 2 days. It's at the point now where I log in, go to gather somethign (this just started this afternoon, it's gotten really bad) and 2 plants later i have to log out and in, or manually restart the game. Is anyone else getting it? I'm in Grahtwood if it matters. Really frustrated atm.

I don't know exactly how it worked but in stead of 600ms ping I have a 150ms ping now (which is normal considering the EU server is not in the EU). Maybe this helps other people with huge latency problems too temporarily. I'm not sure because this problems works I still have to blame Zenimax for the latency problems, or that it is my ISP causing the problems...
