    so my boyfriend got the code redeemed from one support agent.
    Fact is that to log into the game he has to set up a subscription plan the same :\ no matters if in the account says he has 30 days of game time

    Yeah now they asked me for the key too and i explained the following problems my boyfriend is expiriencing. If they will answer me i will tell you what they said.

    I've got my key redeemed plus 1 day of compensatory time.
    My status account iss Active -Not reccurring.
    I would have not ask for anything more, but hope is not just for the 1 compensatory day.
    My boyfriend have to submit another ticket for himself.

    Most sub MMOs did require valid payment information to activate the 30 days, yes. However this is the first one I have seen that required verification of the full amount LONG before the payment would even come out.

    Slightly unrelated, I really wish some company would come out with an MMO that DIDN'T try to force a subscription immediately. Yes, I can simply add the cc, then cancel the sub immediately after activation (which I do EVERY TIME I pay for a month on any MMO). I do not like automated payments. I will not allow automatic payments. I don't even do auto payments with my cell company who I have been with for years. It is far too easy for things to go horribly wrong (as this very situation demonstrates) even unintentionally.

    It is also much easier to keep track of which money is going where if you actually have to manually make the payment. It's 2014, can we stop with the mind games? Please?

    I read something a couple of years ago that MMO's have been forcing subs for a long time because they know a large portion of the subscribers will forget about the sub when they try something else. I know of someone who quit playing WoW and forgot to unsub for 4 months.

    With all the junk they email you would think they would sent a reminder that you haven't logged in for a while, but that's not in their best interest...Greed is!

    This is the most disgusting and sly act I have seen in a gaming company yet. Advertising '30 days Free Game Time' with a purchase of the game in full.
    Then wanting you to fork out the monthly sub before you can access it!
    Zenimax your company now smells like feces. Shame on you and your service you pretend to provide.

    i kept answering the automated replies and got also phone call back that escalated my ticket to the High Elves...

    I will not give my credit card information to an untrustworthy source. There was no indication at the time that I pre-ordered that I would be required to provide my credit card details in order to receive the game time I have already paid for

    (It is not free game time, it says on the box that it is included in the purchase, It's like buying a bag of apples and being told you are only paying for half the apples and must purchase another bag of apples to be allowed to eat any of the apples you have already paid for.)

    I had all the intention of buying more game time if I enjoyed the game enough, but I will not give my credit card information to this company, and I am not going to buy a game card just to get the 30 days INCLUDED (not free) in my original purchase.

    Dear Zenimax,

    I have emailed you via the support form and replied to 2 of your emails and it has been over 24 hours since I first filed the Support ticket.

    Since there's no response for over the past 24 hours, I'm posting here in hopes that I'll get a reply.

    I setup my subscription via PayPal and the transaction got through. The amount was authorized to be paid to Zenimax on both PayPal and also appeared on my bank statement.

    However upon return after payment on PayPal, ESO's website showed the page does not exist with the dwemer robot image.

    Having read earlier posts that others have tried multiple times and been charged multiple times I'm reluctant to try payment using another method as I have already paid for it via PayPal.

    I have also sent the support team a screenshot of the transaction and the Unique Paypal Transaction ID. The support staff even remarked that based on my screenshot I appear to have setup the subscription correctly.

    However 30 hours later, I'm still left without the Imperial edition activated and unable to access the game. My friends have progressed on to the next area and the ring of Mara has become useless. We are different stages now and wont be able to utilize it by playing together as we have been during early access. Most of the joy of playing ESO has been playing with my friends only to have it taken away as I'm way behind in leveling and crafting research time.

    Please verify my PayPal transaction and activate my Imperial edition and game time as soon as possible or refund the PayPal transaction so that I can safely try another payment method without worrying that Zenimax will double charge me .

    I made my first ticket on saturday, almost instantly got an answer that they would help me, but nothing happend, made a new ticket on monday, never got an reply, then I made a phone ticket, they never phoned me, but they did answer my ticket in mail whit an code to start playing.

    I was considering purchasing the 6-month subscription, but if they want that money right now, they can forget it. Too many people have been complaining about full charges instead of pre-authorizations, or that they've been double charged. I'm not providing any credit card info until this company demonstrates some trustworthiness by providing us with the service that we already paid for, and suspending this "buy one get one free" nonsense for a month while they get their act together.

    Oh man this is *** lame already. I can't play since Sunday and i'm still waiting for them to solve my problem. It's like they're building a rocket ffs. Everyone should have the problem solved in like 10 minutes top. If you contacted me as a support guy, then stick with me and finish the damn job. Then get to the next one and so on. I keep hearing about account team, the specialized team, the red team and whatever team. Fix your *** already and let us play.

    Ok, as i understand from the replies i got in mail from them and reading the endless threads here i understand this:
    I activated my subscription plan by paying the full amount of a moth worth play. My money are not shown anymore on my card on ATM but i understand they are just hold until they (this great company Zenimax) verify me. Now why would they need to verify me again since is the same card i bought the game from them and bla bla is beyound me but nevermind.

    What i want to know is:
    1) Those money retained for "verification" (yeah right) will be available for me again once they verify it? simply YES or NO
    2) What happens if now i cancel the subscription plan as they stated that you can cancel it any time once you have done with subscription plan? I mean what happens with those retained amount of money?

    Please, an answer directly from THEM (Zenimax) aka a Moderator here or whatever is really appreciated.

    I start to feel like i'm going to women...pay in advance! got the ideea...

    since last friday we are figthing against disgusting behaviour and bad policy
    but seems we got some results

    here their answer to my more then 5 tickets. they sent me that email.
    that code gives 1 Day Compensatory Time but as they saying below, i will not need any CC sub or other. we will see that tomorrow.
