    this ZOS or whatever tend to be more and more like those craps from bioware/ea, same idiotic politics regarding user forums. troubles around, thousands of pages of stuff, and bearly a few replies from them. even these replies clarifies nothing. last response i got from them regarding my charged account (the receipt was 0.00$ yes ZOS?) was a COPY-PASTE answerfrom this forum! REALLY??? 99,99%, they managed to change 1 WORD! what i read here on forums is what i read in their response instead of clarifying issues... good job, keep going! You count your sells now, and count your costumers in about 2-3 months! GG!

    all of you should send an email to them that "if they not allow you to play your 30 days of game time which came with your puchase, you will give back the game and will ask fully refunded of that purchase"
    i did it and in 1 hour they sent me the code and im playing now. they allowed me to play my 30 days without any sub.

    I am one of the one's having invalid billing address errors. When I put in my work address to try to get around it and filled out my credit card info, It kicked me back to the billing address page, but still put a $15 dollar hold on my card, without even going to a confirmation page. That has been on hold for almost 5 days now. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom . Was told I was in queue for a phone call from customer support. That was over 30 some hours ago.

    I have a situation in which I needed to have 13€ on my card so that I could activate my game. I entered details of my payment method, and it took the money from my card (Visa Electron). Then I activated the game, and then on subscription i pressed cancel, so now my account is active, i have 26 days of playtime left.
    BUT, now in 4 days, I still didnt get my money back. Sent few emails with no response lately. I know that it's hard to answer every email in those situations but it saddens me that i have 26 days left on my account, even with the money taken from my Visa card. That should be 56 days left, if they wont return the money to me. Oh well, I'm not the only one. Still found this game really immersive and will probably continue to play after first 30 days, but I need those 13€ because my payment is late and I need to pay my internet bill :D

    What I did is make a ticket explaining my situation and being kind.
    I got 4-5 copy pasted answer too, but i didn't mind and i answered those explaining again the situation. I also asked for phone support that called me an escalated my ticket.
    Than i was asked more account (game) details in order to give them authorization to check on it.
    After that they asked me the game key in order to redeem it for me.
    This is important: ask them when they will ask you for the key if they can add you a compensatory day in order to set your account status in Active - non-Recurring or you will get your key redeemed but you will still need to set up a subscription plan.
    I still donno if this status will change after the compensatory day ends. Is something i will check tomorrow.

    According to my bank, the 'authorization' is set to reserve the money for one and a half month, meaning if ESO cannot be convinced to fix it, the money won't be released until 25 may....and I've cancelled my subscription...sooo yeah...((note I always cancel my subscription the first 30 days of a game, and then decide when time is up if I want to continue))

    EDIT: and consider that the reservation time is something that is entirely up to those doing the reservation as far as I know, they could just have made it like...1-2 days..

    I didn't have any problems with the PayPal option ... selected my plan, and boom ... access. There is NO charge on my PayPal, just a recurring subscription that initiates 30 days from when I activated it. I also used PayPal to pay for my digital copy, so I don't know if that matters or not, but it was a 2 click process to complete.

    I have lived paycheck to paycheck for longer then I care to admit, and have probably spent more time in the negative than in the positive. I agree it sucks you can't access the game, but seriously ... if you don't have $15 in your bank account then maybe you should be out working or something instead of worrying about a game.

    please, this subject have been discussed 100 time allready. A company dosent act based on the assumption that if you paid 50e you can have another 15 just to verify a card. A company must follow some rules. If a process is illegal it dosent matter how much money a person has. I could go and fill up my card yesterday and have no problem. But for obvious reasons I wont do that and just expect to get what I bought.

    I just checked my credit card activities and the $15 pending charge that Zeni had added never posted and is now off entirely. So I'm not sure why it would be different for other people that used a credit card.

    Bottom line is, it is a pay-to-play game ... if you don't want to pay then why did you buy it in the first place? You get your 30 days free, just as advertised, and after that you are legally obligated to pay for future time by accepting the TOS. I don't fault the company one BIT for making people set up their subscription plans and verifying that the payment method is good ... if anything it cuts down on the number of gold-seller accounts being created.

    It is if the TOS contradicts the laws of the Countries in which the subscriber resides.

    You get your 30 days free IF you create a sub plan.
    If you create a sub plan they charge you for the next month, even if you cancel it.
    That is... to play the 30 days you paid for, you need to pay at least another 30.

    While I technically agree, there are a lot of situations, that I believe have been mentioned, that can cause that particular account you are using to not have said money, but that is really besides the point, when they claim not to take any money in the receipt they give you. They should not take the money, it is really that simple, claiming one thing and doing another is fraud I believe.

    A rough example.
    You buy (i dunno) a game from a store, says 60$ but they charge you 100$
    Is this acceptable? no.

    and yes I know the money is still technically not drawn from your account in these cases, but they are unavailable to you, and if ESO doesn't fix it, they will be such until the reservation times out, which according to my bank isn't until the 25 may, and that's just plain unacceptable.
