I so agree.. wish I did what my friends did and just pay 5 bucks get the code play alittle then go back to the game that is doing it right..What game does it right? Not this oneJonniCress wrote: »I'm going back to World of Warcraft. I was really expecting this to blow blizzard out of the water but damn if I wasn't wrong. Between myself and my boyfriend we have wasted a good almost 200 dollars pre ordering and buying this game and all of it's content only to be stuck on the release because we weren't able to budget in the supposed free months of gameplay. Good going guys. You should have stayed with Skyrim as a series ender because man did you **** up this time.
yea here in America we have lawers waiting to make a name. And are laws are so bendable even if ya don't break one we will collect something lolFalse advertisement, is not a good thing to do in Sweden, we have really strict laws about this.
All sub based games require you to enter a subscription plan prior to receiving your free 30 days. You will only be charged when your 30 free days is about to expire
I pre ordered and was in beta my code has not changed.BoiThePumpkin wrote: »ok i read up on the billing info it says that if u bought the physical copy ur codes should be in box, but if u bought game digitally my redeem code should have been sent to my email after purchasing the game, which i don't have in my email i haven't deleted any ESO messages since i bought the game and signed up for beta i DO NOT have any type of redeem code after purchase game digitally. i just have the "verify ur account for beta", "thank you for applying to beta" and "you forum account has been activated" followed by "u have earned ur first comment badge" followed by "launch date has arrived" is there a way i can get the codes NOW. even though im sure there isnt. just sayin i didnt get any game redeem codes via thru email.
It's on your account page; it seems your beta code is converted to the live code if you were in beta then pre-ordered.

The charge represents an authorization check against the account provided and will be removed once the authorization check is complete.
Exceptions to this general rule are Webmoney, ideal, PaySafeCard, and Giropay.
[Update]
We want everyone who purchased ESO to have immediate access to the included 30 days of ESO game time. In the event that you enter your payment information for authorization and the transaction cancels due to lack of funds in your account, please contact our Support Team. We’ll work with you to ensure you have access to your included 30 days of game time.
Please ensure that you have attempted to enter payment information and had the transaction fail due to lack of funds before submitting a help request. We will get you into the game and playing as soon as possible.
We require you to choose a subscription option and enter valid payment information. For credit cards, debit cards and PayPal there is no charge made until after your included 30 days of game time has expired. For these payment methods, there is an authorization check performed to ensure the payment method is valid. You may see a temporary account authorization hold put on funds in your account while the verification completes. Usually this authorization hold lasts a short period of time before being removed. It can vary from bank to bank.
If you prefer to use one of the following payment methods, payment is processed at the time of selecting your preferred subscription plan.
- Game Time Cards [via Retailer]
- GiroPay
- iDeal
- Paysafe Card
- WebMoney

That is exactly word for word what it said. I collected A LOT of these statements into a word document when this stuff started happening. Though, I don't know which ones I have screenshots for.
I swear Zenimax has broken a few laws by doing this, being Australian i have no idea how laws work in America (do they even have laws after seeing this) i'm sure something must come from all this, there must be some avenue to get these scumbags back.BlessedBySanguine wrote: »A rep told me via email (I asked for a call. And this is also against the law. they will be held responsible for the over draft unless the bank is nice..I am Going to my bank and having them cancel not only the charge for the sub but also the charge for the game..There is a grace period on products that do wrong by the costumer.. Believe its 14-20 days. Will let ya know when I go tomorrowYou guys charged a friend of mine 3 times resulting in an overdraft fee. Unacceptable.

Also going to bank in the am to stop payment on the purchase of the game and this buy one get one free scam..WE also have a grace period in buying such lemonsdeerengsmithb14_ESO wrote: »
