No.

I don't understand zenimax logic. They want people to repeatedly grind the same thing over and over to the point of absolute boredom .
What anniversary celebrations is that ?

You dont have to grind for the style pages if you dont want to?
I think Zos should do more like this in the future with rare style pages or other rare items you can grind for.

Exactly my feelings on this unfortunately.
I’m a huge fan of the game. I have played since the beginning, done everything there is to do, and yet have never experienced a more brutal and mind-numbing grind in ESO. Without any exaggeration, a style page has not dropped for me after completing 250+ geysers…… how much longer do I need to farm for it?? I’m so burnt out of the game now.
The 10th anniversary should’ve been a huge celebration to excite players for the future of ESO. Personally I planned to host big fun guild contests during this event. Now I can’t because huge lack of motivation and everyone in my guilds is too busy grinding, being upset at the grind, or taking breaks from the game due to the grind.
I got the damn pages, after hundreds of tries of what I would describe as literal torture. Slight hyperbole there, but yeah, it was bad.
At this point they better give me 16.000 seals if they choose to increase the drop rate.
Anyway, put rare stuff like that, I don't care, the game needs better rewards and stuff to work towards, just not in the form of FOMO.
At this point it seems like an exercise in futility. It is probably how I will remember this event.

It doesn't. But this was complained about on the PTS too. They want it this way. They made that clear with the update.
They stated on PTS that the chance was supposed to be extremely small for fishing and a chance for the rest. People noted it was also extremely small for the others. They updated the description now in live. They won't change anything and that update is our communication, unfortunately.

These pages were a missed opportunity.
They could've tied the drop rate to in-game progress, kinda like how the dungeon masks have a higher drop rate if you've completed its Hard Mode.
Never set foot in Summerset before? I'm fine with giving the player the absurdly low geyser drop rate that we have now. And then increase that drop rate based on how much of Summerset they've completed, with people who have 100% of Summerset achievements getting a guaranteed drop.
Zero progress in the main quest? Low Staff of Worms drop rate. Fully completed the main quest and defeated the necromancer who was wielding this staff? Give them a guaranteed drop.
So instead of encouraging people to celebrate and play a wide swath of the game, the pages instead lock people into a soul-draining grind of a few narrowly-specific features of the game.
It's infuriating to see how thoroughly they dropped the ball on this.

It certainly isn't for me. I don't watch TV when I am playing. I don't even have a TV in this room. If I am playing ESO that is where my attention is. If I want to watch TV I log off and go in the other room and give that my attention.
But sitting watching Netflix for 5 minutes, killing a boss, going back to Netflix isn't really playing ESO or participating and enjoying the anniversary event.
No I think you misunderstand, watching netflix (and also a bit of youtube) on a second screen (tablet or phone) while playing. Not pausing it to kill a boss for 20 seconds.
like, I watched 3 hours of the Critical Role stream last night while I hung out at a world boss. Something I would have done anyways. And I earned boxes while I did it.

I wrote a 15 page paper for a class one day while sitting at a geyser. At least I got that done...cuz I still haven't had any success with the drops lol. Engaging gameplay.
I did end up chatting with another person sitting there all day so I guess it's bringing people together in our misery?
