I hope the pages return for the console anniversary next year, this stinks. Sad little defeated party here at the Queen's Consort at 2 AM....
I am kind of glad that it’s ending.

I'm on PlayStation, it ends at 10 AM Eastern 😢
(We're dealing with multiple disconnects every day including heavily during trials. I've had a 6 week IR prog end and we never had a real shot with the disconnects, so many people's progs suspensed or ended. Yet we have no compensation or extension. Not even an emergency fix, we've had to wait 1.5 months)

Just give us these style pages. What would it hurt?

There would also be a large number of FURIOUS players who did the Grind From Hell only to have the items immediately given away for free to all players. And I wouldn't blame 'em.

There are also players that are FURIOUS that those locked out are getting all the style pages for free when in reality they probably wouldn't have gotten them all if they hadn't been locked out. But that wasn't a good reason not to compensate them, just like it's not a good reason not to make things right with everyone else for the very negative experience this grind has caused.

Araneae6537 wrote: »Why would you grind for rare drops to the point of making yourself miserable and not enjoying the event? The purple boxes have been rewarding to collect, or one could play however one wished and just enjoy the extra XP. If you really love all five styles then I can understand a bit, but this is not the general impression I’m getting.

They are cosmetic and part of the 10 year anniversary event. WHY in the world were they made so incredibly rare that players that really wanted them have to grind for days and hours on end and still not even get them!?

So, this said, I am not expecting a reply. However, in this case no reply is needed. Just fix it.
I am addressing this not to ZOS, but to forum mods that I know are reading this. I understand that you have as much power over this as we do, which is to say none, and again a reply is not necessary. I just have a request.
I ask that you put the word to those who may be able to do something, that players, especially the long term ones who have been supporting this game for years, are very unhappy with the way these style pages are to be collected.
Perhaps you can remind them that this is not just a celebration for ten years of ESO, but for the players as well. We all did this 10 years together, through good times, through bad times, through [snip]?!? times, and this is an anniversary that belongs to all of us together.
The way players are being treated, having to grind away for something that they know they may not even get, and can not obtain by any other method, does not put them in a celebratory mood. In fact it just makes them angry and resentful.
Its probably too late for consoles, and Im sorry about that, but its not too late to fix it on PC. All that needs to be done is for the next 48 hours, just raise up the drop rate. This shouldnt cause anyone to be upset, because honestly no one would really know.
Did the chance of a style page go up, or was it just rng and good luck? No one can say for certain.
But if theyre going to do something, it better be done quick. This is not right, the way these people are being treated on an anniversary that they share as well. Such a small gesture, such as a sizeable increase in drop rates, would go a long way in making it right.

Necrotech_Master wrote: »i dont think that they are able to adjust drop rates on the fly, it would require a maintenance (meaning downtime), which if it didnt happen on monday, likely wont happen at all as the event ends in less than 48 hours (~39 more hours as of right now)
and not to mention that the event is still even ongoing for PC, the event ended for console servers this morning
whats happened, is said and done, its what they do in the future to make up for it will be what counts

They could put these for free on the Crown Store for everyone.
