I would say it wasn't the 40-60 into the mail that got you banned, but those in addition to the previous mails you sent. The system automatically social bans for a set number of mails exceeded over a specific time period. Most of the time you just have to wait it out, it may be a longer wait if you were recently, previously social banned, not sure.
As to the necessity of sending mass guild mails, I would argue that you do not need them. I run a large trading guild and very rarely send out mass guild mails. (last one was due to the addon/api issue a couple of weeks ago and a year since the one before that or more) Once you have things established in your guild, I find you don't need to spam members. They have access to everything they need with a faq, motd and socializing in the guild channel. Totally imho btw.

2 of the accounts thqt got banned i rarely if ever send guild mails from and they still got banned. I typically send them all from one account and if that one qas the only one banned after 40-60 mails i would understand but when i moved acco ts and tried to send the mail again that account was banned withing the same amount of mails.
Congrats on your successful guild and like you i try to minimize mails but this issue goes beyond that and extends to a lack of communication after 4 days and zero responses to tickets

Sorry to hear that, I hope they get that resolved for you soon. Nothing is worse than being down and out when you still need to do guild upkeep.

LOL
Hope it gets fixed soon lordhakai. I have been social banned a couple of times over the last couple of years for sending out harmless emails which I do maybe once or twice a quarter if that. It is hard enough managing a Guild with the very limited tools we have available and ZoS love to make it harder, which is interesting as you would think they would want to encourage the Guild Leaders who support the Community vibe in the game but nope.
Here Endeth the lesson - don’t use third party add ons to circumvent the game or you’ll get a ban
Ps - use discord like everyone else
I am a GM and I used Shissu to send mail to only 30 members and I got banned for it.
