Siege buffs for CP campaigns... Really?

ZOS, have you played in a CP campaign during a siege lately? You don't have to be standing in the a scattershot/meat bag covered area very long to take massive amounts of damage, especially when you can't even see it half the time. The siege use is already out of hand and doesn't make for a fun PvP experience with the amount of damage it is outputting. 52qbxiflkzxu.png

    seive damage is a joke its been making stand-offs at gates/bridges etc... last FOREVER OMG!

    Witnessed 6 DC zerg 1 EP at Ash farm. One of the DC, a rank 34 Praetorian, put down a scattershot and fire it at the EP.
    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    I´d love a mechanic that reduces movement speed for every siege carried.

    1% for a camp
    2% for a ballista // Oil
    3% for a treb/catapult
    5% for a ram / cold harbour siege

    I think the siege damage is over the top in all campaigns. The wording of the post is based on this from the PTS patch notes:

    "The siege masters of Vivec and Shor have learned from their counterparts in Sotha Sil, and all siege weapons will be more effective against players in Champion enabled Campaigns.
    Developer Comment:
    Siege damage over the years has tailed off in terms of raw output when comparing CP vs. No-CP campaigns. Siege in Non-CP campaigns deal damage that more closely resembles the original design and intent of Siege weaponry. The changes we’re doing to Siege damage in Champion-enabled campaigns result in closer parity between CP and Non-CP Siege damage."

    It's hilarious. There is a certain AD group in PC that claim to be small man but run about 12 and they always seige at like 2-3 players. And it is hilarious, no hate or anything just it's so hilarious.

    Cyro is a warfare simulator though. To not expect seige was like Germany expecting the Americans in WW1 to stop using shotguns in the trenches because it was nasty lol.

    i dont know why they are trying to make cp like non cp campaigns lol first with the guards and now with the siege.

    Because before the buffs to the guards a single person could quickly take a resource and had no risk of ever dieing. It's the same thing with siege. Siege is better now post Summerset but you still can't push back most of these huge zergs for long as group healing is too strong.

    I don't see what the issue is with making siege deal similar damage in Vivec as it does in non CP. If lvl 10 players can find a way to deal with it and take keeps in Kyne so can CP750's in Vivec.

    While siege buff sucks for solo and small scale players I hope they help kill those big groups quicker for less stress on the server. But it will probably end up the same anyway with no difference to lag.

    Increase siege damages... Why not. But cap the amount of weapon each person can carry. Maybe 1 ram + 2 balistas + 1 catapult + 1 trebuchet.

    I mean, taking a rock the size of a dishwasher would hurt, but the thing is, you cannot carry 10 of them in your bagpack... (you cannot even 1 unless you are on steroid)
