✭✭✭✭✭Not liking the sound of the spammable javelin which is already op enough to completely ignore phys and spell resists.. Also while im here, what's the deal with all of the snares that templars get. Lastly, why does crescent sweep/empowering sweep, being the most op ulti in the game, not have a cast time? First time in cyrodiil, roll a templar, you will be a legend.

Have you used Empowering Sweeps lately? I’m so thoroughly sick of people chiming in with their ignorant bs about classes they have no experience with. And that goes for any class. If you’re having so much trouble out there then maybe just go ahead and roll a Templar so you can finally do well. Come back to me in a few months and let me know how it goes. I agree. It just has me triggered that this nonsense is in two separate posts trying to make a false point based on a single Battleground scoreboard. Calling one of the strongest classes underpowered and one of the most nerfed overpowered is just next grade insanity and since ZoS apparently listens to forum warriors like this, I felt the need to do some correcting.

Then you should know that Empowering Sweeps is very so so. And that the upcoming changes will bring down Mag Templar quite a bit. You probably main stamblade, hate Templars cause they pull you out of stealth then meta hopped to Magplar, killed a few people and came here. I've ran into a lot of enemy templars in CP Cyrodiil and only a handful are decent or better with a few that are just annoying with living dark; but that's getting taken care if.
DOTs being ridiculous making templars the best to deal with it is being taken care of.
Having a boost to damage just by using the templar gap closer is taken care of for magplar as there no reason to use those weak DOTs and no reason to dump 75 points into thaum as sweeps/jabs are no longer DOTs.1 -

Juleris✭✭My first pain point with Templar is the lack of a max health based self-heal for Templar Tanks. Now, Templar has a relatively dead skill: Healing Ritual. As it stands right now, the skill is almost never used by Templar Healers and it has little application in PvP. The skill could be taken and made into a self-heal for Templars that heals them for 25% of their max health (tweakable number) and to build on the original effect of the skill, it heals nearby allies for 33% of the amount healed. The Ritual of Rebirth morph could be reworked to provide Minor Protection to affected allies or some other buff/utility effect to give more utility to a Templar Tank, which they also lack. Hasty Prayer can still continue to provide Minor Expedition to affected allies. Every class in the game has a self-heal that scales off of Max Health, except for Templars. As it stands right now it is the biggest weakness of a Templar Tank, and adding a self-heal would breathe new life into the spec.
My second pain point with Templar is a lack of identity between Templars in different roles. Most of the buffs and debuffs a Templar can provide are brought by a Templar Healer, which is present in almost all raid groups. Templar DPS and Templar Tanks generally provide little group utility that a Templar Healer can't provide, which isn't to say Templar DPS and Templar Tanks aren't viable, they certainly are but they don't provide much utility to a group because Templar Healers are staples of the meta and provide most of the buffs that the Templar class can provide to a group. I don't really know of any suggestions I can offer as to solve this problem with Templar class identity but it is certainly a problem that needs to be addressed.Edited by Juleris on September 28, 2019 4:23PM1 -

Nah, I do enjoy playing my nb more than my templar. I have played them both almost equally as much. Templars pose no issues for me when killing them, its the fact that I know because ive played a templar for a long time, that they are very op. The snares are a bit too strong, and eclipse.. how much drugs were involved reforming that skill.0 -

If you dont think Sorcs are not top tier then you really dont know what's what. Sorcs cry because they get nerfed but still end up a top tier class even after nerfs and now they get an overloaded streak.
Sorcs are OP, always have been even with the nerfs. They are also gonna shine next patch since burst is gonna be meta and who better than them?

Snares are weaker than roots that other classes have and you counter them the exact same way you should have been countering other classes roots for years - Snare immunity.

I don't do premade bg and I don't play in my group. Thus I have a good k/d ratio with my sorc.
