I personally love the Coldharbour home, as someone going for functionality in my house by using attunable stations/training dummies etc, the big open flat space is a very welcome addition to the game

1-Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?
I liked the Hew's Bane house, Princely Dawnlight Palace. I hope the place will not be expensive and wish the price be around 12k crowns.

What was your favorite aspect of each home?
For the Dawnlight Palace, I liked the courtyard, it is very flat and spacious, perfect to build the bazaar I always dreamed for.

Which was your favorite new furnishing?
I liked all the new redguard furnitures, the animal statues and statuettes, the building structures such as the fences and pergolas and the new fountains.

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
I actually have a huge furniture wishlist, all of them are in a post made by me:
    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/373118/my-furniture-wishlist
I want the upcoming houses to have a moderate price and want you to consider increasing their furniture capacity-

Do you have any other general feedback?
    For Dawnlight Palace:
1- As plenty other people pointed out, the palace towers and walls have pretty big fences who don't let us see far beyond the palace.
2- Also, there is only one way to climb to the upper wall area, this can be easily solved by adding doors into the towers and ladders to climb to the tower terraces.
3- All the palace stairs could also have ramps to permit the transit of vehicles, specially the big main palace stairs and the ones next to the sea.
4- There are some Stone-made pavilions outside the palace that may obstruct some player ideas. It would be wise to transform them into a furniture, so we can move them as we desire.
5- The fountain on the north side of the inner palace could pour water.
6- There is a lonely staircase with a small flat area ouside the palace's walls on its southwestern side. It would be nice if there is a door that connects that area and the palace's courtyard.
7- Theres also a small beach outside the palace which is swarming with slaughterfish. Could you move away the danger zone by a couple of meters? So we can get a good bath in there?

This is the official feedback thread for the new homes and furnishings currently on the PTS. Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:
Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?
They're all nice in different ways. The Coldharbour Surreal Estate is really not my thing, but I imagine plenty of people will like it, particularly ones who want a blank slate. I was surprisingly pleased with the Erstwhile Sanctuary. I can't imagine any of my characters living in this cave, but it's nicely done. Princely Dawnlight Palace though is probably my favorite. Lovely, with lots of space, both indoors and out.
What was your favorite aspect of each home?
The ambiance of each seems quite right. Aside from Coldharbour (sorry, just not my idea of an enviable vista), the other two properties have some stunning views. Princely Dawnlight Palace has towers/balconies to look out over the city and water, while there's a corner in Erstwhile Sanctuary with an open viewing to further into the cave. (I really want to explore it and died trying to get down and see where it comes out on the map from down there). However, you have to be right up on the edge of the cliff to get the best view because of the rock formation around it. Which is doable because you can drop down to a lower ledge and get back up but the views would be even more stunning if that section sloped some or something and took advantage of that unique vista point.
Which was your favorite new furnishing?
The vine curtain is pretty, as are the butterflies but 1,000 crowns for the latter? They're not $10 pretty. The pergolas are nice and the Redguard Fountain, Mosaic is quite lovely.
What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
In regards to homes as a whole, I'd like to see some smaller homes with nice outdoor spaces. I'd also like more houses that have gold OR crown options, rather than crown exclusive.
For furnishings, more building materials, like walls and such. A couple of Breton houses (off the top of my head) like the Chirane Manor in Northpoint, have walls that separate rooms. It'd be really awesome to get some of these for the different styles of homes. Additionally, I'd love to see more sources for new items than just the crown store.
Do you have any other general feedback?
    • Item Count: With pretty much ALL of these homes, I just can't see how the housing item limit, even with ESO+ is enough to fully furnish them. Even purchased as a furnished house, the Princely Dawnlight Palace was very sparse. There wasn't much outside in the way of furnishings and inside looked pretty empty as well. I imagine it would take a lot more than the current limit to get a home that feels lived in and lively, rather than purchased by someone used to living in a much smaller place who spent all their gold on the property and didn't have much left over to take advantage of their newly acquired space.
    • Usable Space: In Coldharbour Surreal Estate, there's a lot of small "balconies" that are accessible by jumping down but no way to get back up. Would probably take some experienced and creative builders to get stairs/ramps down there with the existing items.
Likewise, the small cove in the Princely Dawnlight Palace is accessible by jumping down, but no way up and the slaughterfish are just waiting on the shoreline for toes. I'd much rather have had that cove accessible than the large stairs down (but no reason not to have both!) If you jump on the rocks and climb around, you can just swim the last little bit over to the stairs to escape death by fish but I'd like it more if it was freely available to use without worrying about getting chomped to pieces.
    • Bug(?): The Erstwhile Sanctuary has a weird exit. The entrance works fine, but the action to leave the house is pushed over to the side. Not sure if maybe there is supposed to be a pull/switch there rather than just opening the door but, right now, it looks like it is just in the wrong place.
    • Crown Exclusive: It appears that only the Coldharbour Surreal Estate will be purchasable with gold, as well as crowns. Unfortunately, the crown prices (for everything, but especially homes) is far too exorbitant for me to justify spending money on. Between super expensive crown exclusives and limited time offerings, I'm pretty turned off from the crown store in general.

Do the other races have new furniture too, or just Redguard (with the new house)?

Redguard already have the nicest furnitures in-game. Meanwhile, Imperials make-do with drearily recoloured Breton furniture.

The Redguard palace is awesome! Well done.

What was your favorite aspect of each home?
Redguard palace has a very large courtyard.
Also, I like the throne room.

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
I'm waiting for the High Elf notable home, it is my favorite style.

Do you have any other general feedback?
Yes. Please make some of the future notable homes available for ingame gold.
Maybe for a large amount of gold, more than the usual 4 million gold.
It will be awesome to be able to buy some of the homes with gold.

[*] Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?
Erstwhile Sanctuary - It is basically has the least amount of issues. The only real problems with that are few badly placed immovable rocks, the fact the floor tiles in the large cavern are broken (Why does everything in ESO have to be run down, worn down, battered and broken? Don't the people of Tamriel know how to fix things? And no, having battered and broken crud about does not make it more "authentic" or "believable." It just makes it look like the person living there doesn't give a *** about the state of his property.) and the fact that there is a large portion of the map that is not actually accessible. But that last one I can let slide. The second I can build around and cover up most annoying bits. But that first one pretty much kills all my ideas about molding it to my tastes. Stuff that I can't move, that is in the way, is a deal breaker.

Dawnlight Palace ranks second. There's lot going for it, but the interior is utterly disappointing. All that space wasted on one ridiculously huge room. What am I supposed to do with it? The place feels more like a temple or something rather than a palace one would call home. Despite all it's volume, it only has 5 rooms and two gigantic stairwells. One of the rooms is set out to be the kitchen since it has that huge oven fireplace thing (That you can't move, which is really annoying) the upstairs would be lot better if the symmetrical design was kept on the upstairs as well. If both of the "bedrooms" had one entrance, and both stairwells had a central doorway to the main hall area, then it would be lot less of a bother to work around, and I could more easily set up two separate proper bedrooms up there. As it is now... It just doesn't feel right.,

Also, what's with the balconies? They don't lead anywhere. They're there mostly just for show. Or if you go with the church /temple concept then I suppose they would make some sense. If the balconies lead to proper "rooms" with plenty of floor space overlooking the huge central room, then their presence would at least mean something. Right now they just look like spectator seating area.

Also the water feature of the main hall is cool yes, but it is also utterly pointelss and drives the design even more towards the temple type design. I was hoping for a mansion in Hew's Bane, not a bloody church.

And the two stairwells? That is a lot of space wasted for getting to the second floor. They are cool rooms yes, but having two huge stairwells for a building that has that little actual space (it has ridiculous amount of volume, but fairly little actual floor-space) feels silly. I am currently trying to figure out how I could build a second floor in the stairwell areas. And maybe how I could block of some of the ground floor area in the stairwell that has the fountain feature in the wall, into a passable bathing area. But the structure of the room is making it fairly difficult, as is the limited amount of actual building elements available in the game.

For me to consider buying a mansion, it must have space in it for a Master Bedroom, a secondary bedroom. a space suitable for a Guest Bedroom, a Study/Library and a separate Bathroom (Cause privacy while bathing is an actual thing!). Plus space for a Kitchen, Dining Area, Living Room and some sort of lounge area as well as trophy space. A room that I can convert into a treasury is a big plus. The communal areas do not have to be separate rooms, I can live with an open concept for the kitchen/dining/living space and can cram lounging spots in hallway's and connecting spaces and trophies do not necessarily need their own room. But the treasury needs to be it's own thing.

I also need crafting area - though that I can set up outside for most crafts. But I do also need a suitable area to set up an arcane laboratory. And no, I do not want to incorporate it with the study/library. That area is for meeting people and looking impressive. The workshop is for doing arcane experiments. And would be littered with crud and grime of countless experiments and has all sort of noxious things brewing. The workshop is private, and the study is meant to make me look important and posh and impressive to quests.

Dawnlight Palace certainly is big enough to have all that, but most of the space is wasted and it actually has very little of the stuff that I need. I would have to waste a lot of furnishing slots in trying to convert some of that volume into actual floor-space. And I'm not sure I want to waste my time with that kinda nonsense.

The most annoying thing is that there was a perfectly valid place available in Hews Bane that could've been converted into just such a place. That is of course the Sulima mansion. You could've offered it as a Home available for purchase after completing the Thieves guild quest line. Not like it has any use after that one mission anyway.

Having that place as a home would still be preferable to having for Dawnlight Palace, even though the exterior of the Dawnlight Palace utterly kicks the ass of Sulima Mansion. And it's not like Sulima place doesn't have its fair share of issues too, but at least that thing has enough distinct rooms to be set up as an actual home instead of a gigantic showroom or something.

If the interior of the Dawnlight Palace had used the interior of Sulima Mansion I'd say it would've been an instant purchase for me, but as it now stand... Well, we'll see. Have to see if I can make it work before any thoughts about buying it are appropriate.

Also - it is a really long way from Dawnlight Palace to the nearest Wayshrine... While the Sulima Mansion doesn't have ocean views (or a private beach - although the slaughterfish make that a moot point anyway) reaching the Abah's Landing Wayshrine is lot less of an hassle that it will be from Dawnlight Palace.

Coldharbour Surreal Estate feels rather like a joke. An empty plot of land? Really. For one million gold. Right. What happened? You had some idea but couldn't get it to work and just decided to push the turd out into the market anyway? Cut your losses and start working on the next overpriced thing to sell to the whales?

The only reason I would ever buy it would be as a depository for my excess pieces of furnishings. I could set it up as a store house plot and just keep all my unused junk there.

I'm sure some players will come up with an actual use for it - maybe a gladiatorial arena or something - but for most, the lack of any actual buildings will severely limits it's use as a "home."

[*] What was your favorite aspect of each home?
Erstwhile Sanctuary - that it has so few glaring issues. Nothing else really. It's cool and all, but is still a dank, run down, ruined cave. If that's your thing, then good for you. Otherwise you are so outta luck with that one.

Dawnlight Palace - that it's a beach front property. Even though the beach is infested with slaughterfish, is inaccessible unless I build stairs there, and is rather small. But hell, it might a least finally give me a reason to finish up Master Angler achievement so that I could buy the boat.

Surreal Estate - the fact that you can buy it with gold. Which means I might end up actually buying it. Even though I don't want it and would use it only as a storage compound.

[*] Which was your favorite new furnishing?

The red guard wall with that brass fencing. An actual bloody wall! You can build stuff with it. The Ra gada statues are cool too, as are the butterflies and some of the new flowers. But since they are undoubtedly gonna be Crowns only, their use is and thus excitement over them is greatly diminished.

[*] What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?

Walls, floors and stairs! Actual building components! And stuff that is not rickety and worn down and crudely made. After that, smaller homes. And more homes available for gold. Also mansions with actual rooms and not huge useless empty space.

[*] Do you have any other general feedback?

I think I gave most of my genreal feedback in the earlier bits. Stuff about wasted space, and too few rooms, and the fact that everything is always broken down and worn and crudely made. I want stuff that is in pristine shape, and well crafted. And also smaller homes, and more stuff available for gold. And lower the prices for your crown store exclusive crud. That way I might actually end up buying them.

I suppose my only remaining bit is to complain once more about the fact that the storage furnishings are lazy design. Why on earth did you think it was okay to have them share the same appearance? After all, the large on is a repainted Argonian chest, and the small one is a repainted Dark Elf trunk. You need to make each one different in appearance. And maybe town down their colors a bit. They look like crap and fit ill with the rest of the stuff in any of my homes.

Oh, and thanks for adding the gaming table furnishing recipe in the game. Although I would've preferred to just have the game sans the table, since placing it with the table is gonna be tricky and won't fit the place where was hoping to add it. And having the gong is cool, but I want the Dark Elf stringed koto like instrument.

Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?

Dawnlight palace by far. Took a solid 5 minutes for my jaw to come off the floor.
What was your favorite aspect of each home?

Coldharbor - The ability to use multiples of all these gigantic trees and structures. Finally a place that makes sense for the Ashlander Yurt.

Dark Brotherhood - the waterfalls are most excellent. I'm not into cave dwelling but would really consider it for those waterfalls.

Dawnlight Palace - swimming pool in the courtyard, beach access (a defined salughter zone would be nice), and I can get on the walls, RIGHT? (please please please)

Which was your favorite new furnishing?

The flowers, all of them. Trellis, portico, fountains!!! Additional Fabricant trees that aren't caftable.

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?

More structures, courtyard items. Plus different building materials, or more items like the matching fence to Dawnlight Palace. Still want a circular stair for the back patio at Hundings Palace. More flowers available FOR GOLD. Seriously, the Covenant STILL only gets the hibiscus as a "true" flower, and they don't grow ANYWHERE in DC lands.
Do you have any other general feedback?

For the love of Mara, please consider 1 - making ALL Crown Homes available ALL THE TIME. or 2 - make more homes avaialble for gold. I want Dawnlight palace so badly, but $150 USD is steep, and I must have the money ready in a 4 day window. That kind of cash will take months for me to save up. I'd pay 11 Million Gold for Dawnlight, and I would keep paying my sub for the 3-4 months it will take for me to make that in-game. Please understand that the real-life rich aren't the only ones who want incredible homes.

I tried to read through the whole thread and didn't see anyone mention this- so if you did already sorry for repeating- but has anyone else noticed the crown furnishing store is not accessible from the housing editor in the CH house? I've tried it on a couple toons and it just says not items available at this time.

Favorite house: DB house by far. the palace is nice but feels way too big for 700 slots (and i was able to make my Grand Topal feel fully furnished with item slots to spare) the size is particularly daunting with all those large, pretty rooms. DB seems far more manageable for the slots and layout.

Favorite feature- the waterfalls, of course. the db stained glass with lighting is a nice touch, but the multiple water feature of this place really delight me! i love playing with water features!
Favorite feature of the other homes: Palace- the grand staircase leading down into the water. i need to build a water bazaar or ship there! CH house, thank you for all the glowstalks you give us!

Favorite new Items: i LOVE that we got more flowers! I am not happy they are crown store only. (as were all but gold vendor or the 2 in hews bane achievement vendor. (talking just flowers, not the big plants, which it'd be nice to have more than 2-3 of the flowering plants too) we need more added to regular vendors please!

Room for Improvement: I feel like the furnished palace is lacking some items outside. not sure what... but i feel like it should at least have a little topiary or something included out there given the space.for the CH house area ,it REALLY needed at least a small pool around an edge of cold harbor water. its the single favorite feature in CH that most of us talk about and i wish it was in this one. DB: i LOVE that some of the books on the ceiling high shelves are permanent fixtures but upon closer inspection they are a bit too shallow for a lot of the collectible books we will want to place. also- being able to move some of those pedestals would be nice. i feel like that room is being forced in a certain direction and i like my unfurnished housing to feel a bit more free.

Desired things for future housing in general: Same as I'm sure everyone asks all the tie INCREASE OUR SLOTS PLEASE! the notable housing keeps getting bigger and better and we are still having our hands tied on furnishing limits!

Increased drop rates on dlc zone specific blueprints. purple blueprint drops in general are waaaaay down. also, i talk to folks in console housing guilds regularly and either their drop table is significantly different from PC or their drop rate is significantly larger. they get items we have only heard rumor of on NA pc. we need some sort of adjustment please.

i also like above suggestions about a medium snowy home and totally agree that the db house and the tg house appearing to be crown only sucks. Clockwork city was released tied into the zone achievement and avail for gold, why aren't these?? Please don't let these be limited editions when we JUST had pariah, and we don't need another Crown only sticking around permanently like Earthtear either. :( the notable price tags of 3.6mil are hard enough to meet. don't make the best of the housing a punishment to devoted fans that don't have the kind of disposable income that a 13-15k crown only home requires. :(

Hmmm even with the Coldharbour Surreal Estate which is intended to be a blank slate, there is only one new "building material" furnishing and it's not even themed to the Estate:

Redguard Fence, Brass Capped (100 crowns)
    aZH4M1p.png

Yeah we need WALL pieces like this, not fences. We need doorways and actual FLOOR pieces.

They do seem to be adding these to the crown store. I just discovered the brass plates they added. I have been looking for a good roofing material for a free standing structure I built and these make for a very good copper roof appearance. Small enough to build with but big enough to consume less housing slots than the other materials I have available.

What I really want is a nice staircase material. Better yet, a working ladder or elevator. The Dwarven altar has too many drawbacks for general use.

I have tried building my own stairs but for some reason the elevation of each step in comparison to the preceding step, that still allows forward motion without jumping, is TINY compared to stairways in-game. Something borked with that. Typically have to settle for ramps.

Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?

The Dawnlight Palace, hands down. I THOUGHT it was going to be the Dark Brotherhood place but after touring it extensively I'm still really iffy on it.

What was your favorite aspect of each home?

Coldharbor: Well, it's IN Coldharbor and that will be neat for some people.
Dark Brotherhood Cave: It's dark and spooky.
Dawnlight Palace: It's just so beautiful. And I've been dying for a house in Hew's Bane.

Which was your favorite new furnishing?

Probably the cat statues. I can see using those extensively.

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?

    1. Increase in player caps.
    2. Increase in item caps.
    3. More "mid-sized" homes that will STAY on the Crown Store and be purchasable for UNDER half a million gold.
    4. The ability to set time of day in player house instances. Ideally morning/afternoon/evening/night but at least day/night.
    5. The ability to play the zone music of my choice in housing.
    6. Ability to control weather in player housing.

Do you have any other general feedback?

Stop charging so much for pixels.

No more "flash sales," leave these "special" homes up for AT LEAST a full month.

Most importantly, give us genuine BUILDING COMPONENTS! Walls, floors, doorways and STAIRS so that we can reconfigure the huge EMPTY spaces you keep insisting on designing houses with. And make sure we have them in all the styles available.

Overhaul the housing crafting system entirely. Make furnishings require furnishing mats ONLY. Do NOT keep making people choose between furnishings and GEAR. At the very LEAST drastically REDUCE the non-furnishing mats components required. Most of them make no logical sense to begin with.

Drastically INCREASE furnishing recipe drops and make the drops EVEN or BY ZONE. I should find Reguard plans in Alikii'r and Khajiit plans in Reaper's March. I should NOT find 20 times MORE Daedric plans than any other kind of plan.

We need a LOT more paintings and tapestries!

Love the Princely Dawnlight Pallace is gorgeous but strolling through it quickly made it clear to me that if you want decorate the place not just sparsely the item limit will quickly become an obstacle. There is a lot of room outdoors as well as indoors and there are a lot more usable walls than in other houses walls which will need decorations.

The Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary seems great, I don;t think item limit will be as much of a problem there. I wish the view into the large open cave with the trees was a little more open or grand from some viewing points. Maybe Open up the "mouths" of the cave at the two view points for a larger window into the cave.

The Coldharbour Estate is...a neat idea, giving us a large sandbox to play and build in but we'll need more building materials to properly utilize that. Especially things like walls, roofs, whole structures etc. Personally I'd rather have seen this sort of play space in a Tamrielic zone and not in this dreary pocket of oblivion.

Additionally I want to mention that, as you are well aware, we'd REALLY like an increase in item count limit.

Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?
I really love the dark brotherhood cave, although the palace is also amazing!

What was your favorite aspect of each home?
I like all the water features in both of the houses, wish the coldharbour estate has some kind of pools or something

Which was your favorite new furnishing?
I really like the offerings from the master writ vendor this time! I also like the butterflies and the flowers in the crown store, but wish you would introduce similar items that we can get in-game without crowns

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
We REALLY need more item slots, there just isn't enough to adequately fill the houses, let alone do something creative!
Also, I would like to see some of the upcoming homes be smaller, this would help with cost and the item slot issue and sometimes massive sprawling mansions aren't everyone's taste!
As far as furnishings go, another thing we REALLY need are better building materials, especially very large items that can be used as floors or walls, this will make it a lot easier to build a real house while keeping within the item limit.

Do you have any other general feedback?
I think there should be access to the towers/walls and some balconies in the palace. PLEASE in future homes be sure to include access to these features! everyone loves them. I also think not having such massive walls all the way around would be good, one of my favorite things about houses is the views we get from them.

I also had a question if the prices were correct for the new writ merchant. The old furnishing patterns are only 100 writs, rather than 125 from Rolis. Are they intended to be cheaper?

As far as no limits on creativity, the only house that get's Yolo's stamp of approval is the coldharbor realm for having a really huge skybox.

    th7bA89.jpg

But I will re-iterate what others have said about us needed more building materials. Stairs, walls, large brick sections, etc

I took a peek at the Dawnlight Palace. Mosaic tiles, water everywhere…absolutely gorgeous and huge. It will definitely be crown store only.

Indeed. Just. Stop. It. I am not starting to spend real life cash for a few butterflies and flowers.

I hope the flowers are not limited to crown store. We need more colourful plants in our gardens. I would love some vineyard walls <3

Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?

    Dark brotherhood cavern

What was your favorite aspect of each home?

They are quite different from the ones we usually get, truly creative and fun, nice atmposhere

Which was your favorite new furnishing?

Butterflies but they are not worth 1000 crowns

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?

humanoids to feed on and reduce vampire stage
cyrodill map that reflects the state of a campaign
more brotherhood items, keep it creative like this batch, it was nice
would be nice if training dummy included the 5% slayer bonus from trial sets (if not done yet)

Do you have any other general feedback?

Seems the furnished version of dark brotherhood cavern is not well furnished. Likes there is almost nothing in there. Would be nice to add some more items

Would be nice to give the coldharbour plane some further love, water under it ? special light effect like we are in coldharbour ? It is nice but looks slightly dull

Edit: would be nice to be able to change the in house music

The new furnishings on Rolis Hlaalu are super cute and going to be a must-buy.

That said... the furnishings that got moved to his assistant? Cost less than they did when Rolis was selling them. 100 vouchers instead of the current live cost of 125. What's up with that? Are those going to stay on Faustina when this goes to live?

Cold Habour plot is great, but I don't know if it's 1 mil gold great. It is a rather large plot though. The DB sanctuary is probably my favorite though. I love caves and the waterfalls are a nice touch. The pedestal room would be perfect for a trophy room.

Like people have mentioned, more building materials are needed! How about some wooden support beams, rails, stairs, windows, doors, and more fences? Some larger flat stones to be used as flooring would be good too.

I really love the glowing mushrooms that are found in the DB sanctuary.

Throwing in my commentary on the Princely Dawnlight Palace as well.

I wanted to love this house, but after trying it out on the PTS I ended up talking myself out of buying it for several reasons. This coming from a huge fan of the Redguard housing styles, who owns all of them, even so far as to make each of them their own little businesses in roleplay with backstories and everything.

That said... the palace made perfect sense for me. I was going to get it until I tested it.

For a house "meant to catch the light" it is so, so dark. And it will be nearly IMPOSSIBLE to light inexpensively. Especially with a mere 700 item cap... you're going to easily fill half that item count with lighting items alone. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I think this is the largest house in the game so far, in terms of space you can actually decorate. SO many places are going to look empty due to the restrictive item limit.

We need items that give out huge amounts of light if we're going to keep getting gigantic spaces like this, perhaps make them environmental effects, even. Because there is no way I'm paying upwards of 100$ for a house, and then paying additional hundreds to get the very expensive lighting items that match it.

Sorry, ZOS. As much as I love this one and want to get it, I simply can't until there are serious improvements with the housing system.

I would also like to add that with the exception of the Coven House and a few added in Morrowind, we've yet to see the addition of small and medium houses for quite some time. Please consider adding more small and medium homes to the house addition cycle, I'd be far more likely to get something affordable and easy to decorate!

In future the primary thing I want to see in houses and furnishings is the ability for guests with Decorator privilege to install furniture rather than just moving it around. I will buy Crown Store houses *after* this is implemented. Before it is implemented there is no point in investing in a house that I cannot properly share with other residents, even my Mara pledges. The Crown Store houses are so expensive that there is a much higher probability of people chipping in together to buy them IF those people can all decorate it.

The Coldharbour home is exactly what I need to build my own Xanmeer. The price tag of 1m is reasonable. The problem with it is of course the furnishing limit, the fairly small pyramid I built in my backyard at Serenity Falls required about 150 stone blocks. It's also a bit far from a wayshrine.

I wasn't able to find the other two new houses in the list. Wouldn't be interested anyway if they're only available for crowns.

    The Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary

Please make it possible to go down till the little see and the trees in there.
It is possible in other houses to build really high. Now it is in the sanctuary like there is a point where you get the damage for falling down. Pls remove this and make it possible to even get access to the ground of the waterfall when we build a way down there.
    That would be really nice!
