You get a boat for getting the Master Angler title, You purchase it in Elden Root for 25k. Unless you mean a house boat, In which I would have to agree..That would be awesomeeeee!

I do mean a boat house, yeah. Kind of like the Daggerfall Overlook boat you can build your way to, but with actually being able to go below decks and such.

They are quite a reasonable size




If you flip them, you can create a wall to a size you want, with a bit of careful placing. I didn't do a perfect job on these, but you get the idea

Princely Dawnlight Palace. This is gorgeous. By far the best house I have seen. Loved it the moment I walked through the door. So there is a "house" you can buy with gold. The Coldharbor Estate. I say "house" because there is not structure at all. It is literally a circular floating plane of rock, with rocks on it. I'm sure somebody will dig it but I am not sure what you could do with it. This is especially true given the very opressive item limits in game. To add to this item limit problem, even this unfinished version is actually half full of.... Rocks. Seriously, every rock in that place seems to be an item and aside from an empty circular plane, everything seems to be a rock. Given that with this house you have to actually build the house, I really don't see how you're going to do that with the 250 or so items left.

Um, storage containers. I have some inventory issues. Ya'll gave me them with all that constantly deciding to wreck BIS sets and make some random garbage set BIS. That kinda crap will make a guy paranoid to decon anything. I didn't look at the other furnishings. A home that is both interesting and also for sale for gold. This does not seem like it is in the plans. Seems like all the nice homes will be gold open and the desolate planes of Oblivion full of rocks are what you can get for in game currency.

Really, I'm not going to spend crowns on housing so I feel like my opinion here in not of much value. I haven't subbed or bought anything since y'all made a mess of combat in Morrowind. I don't see that changing in the near future.

This stone fountain piece needs to be shifted right some.(and probably raised up a bit) It's noticeably off when you look at where the wood clips into it.

Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?

Princely Dawn Palace - It's almost everything I wanted in a Redguard style home. It has great spaces in the yard and the walls are accessible, nice water frontage and a bit of sandy beach. Interior is great with many rooms and accessways. The architecture is great.

What was your favorite aspect of each home?

Princely Dawn - The interior is so much better than most of the housing options
Sancturary - Those waterfalls, so many great views in this place
Coldharbor - That it seems it will be purchasable with gold. I waited so long for this place, have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the lack of any structure.

Which was your favorite new furnishing?

Dark brotherhood rug, not sure if it's new but I never saw it placed down before.

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?

Ships. Why can't there be a ship with interior docked outside the Princely Dawn Palace? Or even an entire house that is just a ship. Also, more Daedric style housing options, furniture and houses.

why do all the homes have to be so MASSIVE and HUGE?
cant we just get a cave that's really small 1 or 2 room underground or a normal 1 or 2 room house that is not a apartment?

@ZOS_GinaBruno Don't you think that sale (AGAIN) big houses for crown it't too far to be fair to the normal player? You cannot eat all money in the world - at least can it be some short period for gold too? Otherwise - it too far, Maam... too far ...

Agree 100%. I know you want to milk the whales of all their money but please make some smaller houses.

I love the flowers and butterflies, but why are the butterflies so expensive? That price is ridiculous.

I thought the Gold Coast sanctuary looked great. The Coldharbour place confused me, though. A one million gold price tag for a plot with literally nothing on it makes me shake my head. I understand that some people would like to build on it, but it seems it should be a lot cheaper considering what it includes.

I have been waiting for a house in Hew's Bane since housing was first introduced, as it is my favourite zone, and I have been dreaming of one of those little houses overlooking the harbour! Oh well Even though the palace is very beautiful (I especially love the little stove in there, although wish it could be moved!) I do wish that they had released a smaller home too. 700 items is most certainly not enough for all of the space in there... Why must such large homes be released each time! If they are going to release three, surely it would make sense to have one large, one medium and one small, to suit everybody?!

I am also really annoyed by the bookcases in The Erstwhile house! The house is very pretty and the bookcases themselves are great, I love the filled ones, but filled bookcases all over the place that cannot be moved really bugs me. We should at least be able to move them to wherever we like!

The prices for the furnishings on the pts are always different to the prices on live, so I suppose we shall have to wait and see what they really cost...

the additions of storage to homes is great,bit bummed I have to remove other trophy collectables to fit them in. Can't Devs add more collectable space 5 slots.

My feedback echoes what I've already seen here.

1) It's fantastic that you keep giving us gigantic houses (all three new lots are HUGE) yet the item cap remains a massive hindrance. 700 is simply not enough. Let's not forget the 24 player cap. I regularly fit that many players in my smaller houses... these houses are big enough for massive RP events and should allow 50 players minimum.

2) It's awesome to have a lot with no house on it, but we NEED building blocks. Walls, floors, doors, stairs, roofs in different racial styles please. This would be a MASSIVE boost to all houses--I'm sure everyone is as tired of using orc platforms for walls as I am.

3) Crown prices seem overly high for some of the new decorations. The butterflies are really neat, for example, but I won't buy any since they're 1,000 crowns each which seems like a horrible deal for a small item. I really like the new plant furnishings, but wish we'd get more flowers designed to fit indoors in planters rather than large "outdoors" ones.

That was exactly what I was checking and thinking.

Just a quick review answering questions. I'll probably will try to get more in depth when the EU characters are loaded and I can try some decorating.

Out of the three homes currently on the PTS, which was your favorite?
Probably the Erstwhile Sanctuary. I'm also quite fond of the Princely Dawnlight Palace, but I'll expect it will still be pretty bare after filling all the furnishing slots. Same for the Sanctuary probably, but I feel I will mind it less there.

What was your favorite aspect of each home?
Like most I love water features, so these in the Erstwhile Sanctuary. For the Dawnlight Palace, I like the tile patterns on floor, ceiling and walls. It's very detailed! As for the Coldharbour one, hard to say, I don't like it that much. I wish it actually had water spots on it, like most places in Coldharbour.

Which was your favorite new furnishing?
The new items from our good friend Rolis Hlaalu. Love the new gaming table, little forest in glass, the small gold turtle, and the new bubbly thingy. It's going to be tough to decide where to throw my vouchers to first. I want those storage chests too. >.>
From crownstore, probably the butterflies. But if these are crown only I won't buy them for 1000 crowns. Also love the shiny shrooms, and the Ra Gada statues.

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
Please, please, please add more small and medium homes. ._. And way more structures so that you can actually build things on empty plots without wasting a lot of slots!

Do you have any other general feedback?
I love the idea to add previous writ voucher furnishing recipes to another merchant. Also am very happy that the luxury furnishings merchant will also have previous items for the things I missed.

Cold harbour is pretty...idk why I saw so, but moment I walked there was like. This is surreal.. ...or something along those lines.

The design of dawnlight palace is beautiful beyond belief this is a drama home. At last textures of bricks seem lesser quality then hunding.so mixed feeling

Caves are not for me. I didn't even look.. well yet.

1. I can't pick. But not Coldharbour.
2. Coldharbour: nothing was there, seems apropos
Palace: the lines of the interior spaces, it feels palatial
Sanctuary: nailed the dark brotherhood vibe, from the stained glass and red carpets to the creepy music and the damp

4. A mage's tower (in Eyevea or Artaeum!), more book and library stuff, some medium-sized homes in DLC lands, themed homes and/or furniture for each class
5. Well done. Much wow.

I am personally the most excited about the coldharbour house. My current house is the earthtear cavern, and I built my own house and closed off most of the cavern because it didn't match the theme of my build(also I was at the 700 item cap). So I look forward to having a new sandbox to play and design in.

Coldharbour home is just empty flat line space. Come on, there should be SO much more there.

It will be nice for DIY players, that's for sure, you get the playground in Coldharbour.

  • Hlaalu Trinket Box, Curious Turtle: this would have been great just as a stationary item but you made it interactable and it opens!
• What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
  • Item cap increases, please!
  • A less polarizing version of the Surreal Estate (the desolate-blue-grey isn't for everyone), like a field or valley. I love the idea of building my own thing (I have two homes where I only used the yard and hid the house - an Ancient Nord Tomb (omg I need more furniture slots for the new Ancient Nord stuff!! and a Tree-Top-Town)
  • New apartment/small/medium homes. The Manors are incredible and breathtaking but also expensive and hard to decorate and giant expanses aren't everyone's forte. My housing guild consensus is we would love to see smaller homes added as well.
  • More Instruments like the new gong, which I activate every time I walk by it hehe.
• Do you have any other general feedback?
  • Sources other than crowns for some of the new furniture. So many amazing things! I love the new flowers (and I hope some are available from harvesting nodes...) and the new cave deposits. It would be great to see some of the conservatory items appear on the Home Goods Vendors rather than ALL of them being crown exclusive. Also, would be awesome to have some of the structures craftable and the skulls stealable!
  • Amazing new homes and new furnishings! Great job on the designs!

We need a way to search for furnishings tagged as "NEW" in the furniture crown store. There is currently not a way to search for them without clicking and scrolling through every category. Typing "new" into the search should make it show what the new furnishings are.

Probably the Erstwhile Sanctuary but the Princely Dawnlight Palace is also very tempting.

What was your favorite aspect of each home?
I think the waterfalls and the view of the (non accessible) deeper caverns in the Sanctuary.
The stone jetty with the view and the balconies in the Palace.

Which was your favorite new furnishing?
favourite is the miniature garden

What do you wish to see from future homes and furnishings?
1. More general building components (like walls, stairs, platforms) in different textures (e.g. different types of stone, wood, finishes etc)
2. increase on the item limit. These houses will look very sparsely decorated and probably dark unless the owner self-restricts the decorating space.
3. It would be great if some of these stunning houses could be earned in game as a reward. A lore hunt type quest could be 'fun'
4. I was hoping for a snowy medium house to be added with the New Life festival, in much the same way as the Witches House for the Witches Festival (achievement gated + gold cost).

Do you have any other general feedback?
I was disappointed that two of the houses seem to be crown store only - it's a real shame that the Sanctuary isn't tied to the Dark Brotherhood achievements.
