Sugar-coating exists for the reason to get out of this constant hate. You sugar coat to help the other people to listen to you. To find a shared context.

I think not, and that's why i feel for your struggles and express my compassion instead.

Trust me, i'm not trying to provoke anybody. It's not just boring and pointless. It's counter-productive.

If you felt for our struggles you would take our PoV and the ranged PoV of the communities views into account. It's called empathy. No one would have an issue with your add on if you removed the notification for players you are not even targeting. If it only worked with targeted enemies, no one would take issue, becaues that is standard in mmos.

Also, coming out in support for multiple playstyles and diverse builds =/= no skill crybabies. Using an add on to negate certain playstyles because those playstyles are inconvenient which has no counter , be it in game or in another add on , on the other hand.... See how that works? You can be blunt and straightforward without being condescending and inconsiderate.

If you really wanted to take the high ground, and actually did feel for our struggles, and were truly considerate, why not meet the players that take issue with the add on at least 3/4 of the way and make it so the alarm only shows for targeted enemies not in stealth?

I stopped indulging salty and not very smart people years ago, since they will still find a way to be salty (and not very smart) no matter how much i try to help them.

Well i´m sure a lot more people woudl be openly speaking their minds if these forums didn´t enforce a rather strict policy on appropriate language - thus forcing passive aggressiveness.

Also there´s no reason for miat to get angry here. He´s not emotionally involved - just making fun of/ with people that are throwing a hissy fit over an addon for a computer game.

It is possible to speak your mind without being passive aggressive or displaying sociopathic behavior. And I know exactly what you mean, I have gotten warnings to the high heavens on here because of my mood swings. That is generally a problem on game forums to be honest, but we shouldn't talk about that, but I do agree with you there.
