    no it doesn't, it scales up like all other execute-mechanics (excluding killers blade/impale and sorc execute) and is doing this since they introduced it.
    And even IF it does this 33k from 50% to 25%....it would be worse then puncturing sweeps (sweeps 4x 9k crits + 10k burning light = 46k in 1.1 sec --> 42k/sec) and therefore useless...

    edit: numbers for sweeps could be lower on dummy i guess...but still, you get the point...

    maybe @Asayre made some calculations? Like why did Jesus beam not get different damage numbers in the newest patch but Impale did?

    @Alcast did you test radiant glory? maybe that magicka-bonus damage is messing things up?

    wasnt me that tested it, my bud just told me that his jesus beam did 33k before and 33k after the pts patch, meanwhile impale went up drastically.

    It kinda does. Usually bad players are sick of nerfs to stuff that made them better. Good players adjust.

    Actually magsorc are the only class I beat 9/10.
    I do call it as I see it though. Magsorc is eso on ez settings. And here you are still crying for 400 magika. How much magika were you running btw? 40k? 45k? 48k?

    Wish I could get those numbers but I don't use pets, do not have master or VMA weapons and haven't found enough people to do dungeons or trials to get the BIS gear there. At most I have the best monster helm depending of class.

    I like the necro 5 piec change! Sorc DPS was way over the top compared to other classes and every sorc out there hitting the highest numbers were wearing Necropotence. With the changes to mundus, weapon traits and buffs to other gear sets it should bring them in line with other classes finally. Thank You, this magblade greatly appreciates the changes :) Can't wait for reactions from the sorc camp though haha.

    Ur precious game is losing subs because of this, many ppl will quit, I know I did, company will go BANKRUPT, but still u will be around lol'ing ur way to the forums, to complain that there isn't anyone left to play

    They just killed their own game, I advice all sorc players to quit this game asap, like I did, or at least cancel their subs.

    I wont quit but I dislike the need to farm for gear again. Since they are changing crafted sets I believe they should focus on rebalance the other ones for the next patch (hopefully before Witches Festival)

    • The bonus damage dealt by execute abilities, such as Assassin’s Blade or Reverse Slash, now works more intuitively with global damage done bonuses, such as Mighty or Minor/Major Berserk. Execute bonus damage is now multiplicative with global damage bonuses instead of additive.

    Nice! Does this multiplicative change also apply to swords buffed by Twin Blade and Blunt / Heavy weapons and bows buffed by Hawk Eye / Long Shots?

    The change is only to execute abilities, not passives, so it has no effect on Twin Blade and Blunt. However, it does mean that Poison Injection deals more damage when combined with Hawk Eye or Long Shots.

    Does the change apply to steel tornado? DW gets its execute from the passive ability so the change really should apply to that as well.

    Can anyone tell me what exactly is the nerf to sorcerers this poster is complaining about? Or is he complaining about the very minor lowering of one of the best armor sets in the game that is really strong for two other classes as well?

    For those confuzzled about the Necropotence nerf being "a bad thing", please keep in mind that Necropotence will now only give ~650 more resources than Draugr Hulk will... while still having a strict requirement that prevents 100% uptime in most scenarios. Compared to just slapping Hulk on and having 100% uptime. A set that, mind you, was previous NERFED from 3000 Stamina for giving too much with no requirement at all.

    Also keep in mind almost every armor set in the game had their 1-4 peices buffed as well (Necro included), so other sets that were similar or equal would be flatout better than an un-nerfed Necro in the first place. See Julianous, etc.


    Can we get "Pets do x% more damage" buff added to Necropotence now, you're really breaking the kneecaps of dedicated pet users to deal with the meta chasing crowd... you know, again. Necro was designed for Sorc Summons and it isn't even being nerfed because of that, LOL.

I wish when people made an outrage about something in ESO that it wasn't something so stupid, like for example, when the f**k are they changing the warden's spammy bird ability that cannot be dodged? Or the exploding stun bugs that have no tell (unless you like looking at people's feet 24/7).

    Let's talk about the real s**t, instead of making proc damage that requires a 5p set to fully utlise seem like it's totally game-breaking, because it's not.

    You know...this 3k unavoidable damage is oN TOP of everything you described? not instead of....
    And all you've named can be blocked or shielded...but those 3k go directly at your HP, doesn't matter what you do...THAT'S the real problem.

    Speaking of executes that got fixed... anyone ever notice that ALL spells/attacks seems to do more damage the lower a target is?! is that just a figment of my imagination, or is there really something to this?

    Never did a duel to test this though... but often noticed my damage scaling the lower a target was (and that's on a warden, which has no execute... well none worth using in PvP)

    Can someone that knows damage calculation explain how necropotence lets Magsorcs deal more DPS than a 5piece set that buffs spell damage? Aren't heavy + light attacks a big chunk of the overall damage? Spell damage should buff heavies 40x more than magicka.

    Or are Necropotence Magsorcs sacrificing DPS to get a big damage shield?

    Pretty sure it is just the Necro nerf. This is definitely going into my top 3 forum rages. Think it currently stands at:

    1. Guy raging that ZOS changed his inappropriate character name to "FancyKale."
    2. Dude that threw a fit at the recent Prosperous changes because he actually liked the way it worked before and wouldn't listen to reason that Impen is actually mathematically better for farming gold anyway.
    3. And now this guy for quitting because his max magicka is going to be 500 lower.

    Anyways, I wouldn't hope for it. There have been many well writen suggestions for how templars could work, none of them have been taken into account. So I guess the eta is: if you are unhappy with your templar... roll a warden. :disappointed:

    magicka-warden is probably the only class with even lower DPS then the magicka-templar :lol:

    Oh yeah, right... sorry, stam-player, I usually forget about the magica side. Yet, I would enjoy correctly scaling abilities. ;)

    Would be nice to see StamSorc get a Stam morphed Ultimate finally. It's the only Stamina class where you're forced to grind out Dawnbreaker before you get a physical damage Ult.

    The weapon Ults are pretty lackluster for PvP which is why almost noone uses them other than the S&B one for defense. And all classes have access to weapon Ults. Sorc is the only class with no physical class Ult.

    Not happy about this change at all.

    Thst's not an issue, ifact it probably helped the game as a whole by allowing low levels to make some solid money. So what now? Mother's sorrow? Alright, well that invigorates a gold farm, but creates a whole new pointless grind. Lost a set, gained a set, but no diversity increase, just more rng.

    Buffing other sets to go sith the nerf however, gets people talking and makes thingd more interesting. Not a fan of this change.

    Otherwise nice update.

    Ps spinners/spriggans nerf was dumb, and sorta pointless. It made a nice casual friendly runner's up to those who cbs dealing with huge lag/rng. I feel that change hurt diversity and is more likely to push people to quit. If you feel the set is too strong, perhaps change of of the max stam buffs to recovery, still useful but doesn't directly affect dps.

    Agreed, the extent of the nerf was by far an idiocracy on ZoS part.

    If they didn't use metrics and started using logic, they wouldn't have done such a sloppy job to the point it pissed people off.

    3.1k would have been more reasonable.
    Same goes for some of the set changes.

    ZoS you have people posting in the forums, sure some are bias but start using this place as a bloody source.
    It's called a test server after all, I see no adjustments nor response to freedback to anything made prior to patch 3.1.0 (other than a bug fix Torug's Pact).
