I don't think anyone needed video proof to know there was an issue at this point.
The fix will come when ZOS figures out the issue I guess, if you haven't already check the dev tracker as it has a lot of posts from Gina and Jessica updating everyone. The latest was Gina saying ZOS are reaching out to ISP's of those effected.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »Hey everyone, thanks for sending in your tickets and trace routes. Stop spreading misinformation, that's not been proven to be the case.more players have to quit the game and this will all be fixed ^^
the game simply cant handle the current sums
People seem to forget that PvP isnt fixed like PvE is where you fight with a group you formed yourself till a maximum limit. PvP on the other hand is AllvsAll, wich is giving a lot more strain on the server-capacity, and your computer to get all data in and out. That is what is causing the lag. So stop blaming PvP-lag on ZoS. They cant help it either. Its a side-effect of 80vs80vs80 people fighting each other, when there is no party in the fight that has predictable moves like a trial-boss has.

If so, I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that this is the reason the ESO team is giving away 5 free day's of ESO Plus & Dwarven Crates just for logging in. It would make perfect sense that they are trying to pull as many people as they can into the servers so they can collect more data and get to the bottom of the issue properly.
You can't address all problems without the players and the more players logged in sending data, the more results for narrowing it down to the exact issue.
I could be wrong, but I bet that's what they are doing with the ESO trial and free crates. Thoughts?
They've dealt with most issues that have arisen since release, just new ones have come up and those will be dealt with in time as well. People are quick to forget all the good things which have happened in the games development.InvitationNotFound wrote: »Funny how some white knights trying to defend ZOS once again.
Blaming the ISPs is pretty low. And the issue won't be fixed... Take look on the list of open issues and how they are handling everything since release. Furthermore, it is a PVP issue and they simply don't care about it.
It's a ddos, yeah, totally! *Sarcasm*
I do wish that ZOS would just come out and admit that their servers suck and can't handle the playerload, I mean it has been an issue since One Tamriel came out, and I feel like with the amount of money they make from the Crown Store they could invest in some more servers. Trials have recently also been incredibly frustrating when everyone has constant pingspikes and crashes. At some point they have to focus on making the game better and forfeit a bit of their profit to make it happen, lest it reaches a point where the game becomes entirely unplayable.

ZOS has nothing to gain by lying about the cause of this and if they're going as far as to get in contact with ISPs then they're taking it pretty seriously. In regards to PvP ZOS has had a love hate relationship with how they've dealt with issues I will give you that, but again ignoring that perfect balance every expects and normal latency issues they've fixed a lot of the bugs which have come up over the years.
Any way I think I got some stains on my white armour and cape, I need to go clean them off.

This now relies on AT&T fixing said node which is also known to have been bad for about 18 months now.
Will everyone PLEASE stop blaming ZOS.
This is almost completely outside their control, and said node had a particularly bad week last week.
Whats happening is ZOS are having to ring up AT&T and get them to reset the routers which temporarily relieves the problem until said routers begin to cascade crash again over a period of about 48 hours.
Its worth noting that all these problems you are seeing are only happening in the US. The EU servers aren't suffering any of these problems.
