I legitimately don't know what you are even talking about, and I am not sure you do either. Who is "none of us"? You mean your online Breakfast Club? Who cares, Molly Ringwald. My involvement in this thread began when someone asked what guilds were homing AS, and I answered. Then your Breakfast Club started throwing feces like monkeys in the zoo. So up came the reflective plate. Had you not been so juvenile about it, we wouldn't even be having this "conversation". I'll be cIear: I don't care about you, the other gal, the one dude's pug guild and whether or not it's better than that other dude's pug guild... or even which of the uptight nerds in this nerd war are really the nerdiest. I don't really know Vurian, or his Arch-Nemesis Darth Minno. I only know the last 17,000 pages of this thread have mostly looked like:

EP nightcapped the map for 20 of the 28 days this campaign. And although not rational or fair sport, I understand it was done at first by a few groups to create a giant lead from the beginning. I get it.

And now, DC has overnighted the map again, for the second night in a row, emping at 6am. And these aren't new players. When I logged on my laptop to check mail, there were 15 CP600+ DC (the 3 I saw closely were AR30) hitting BB, with one other AD player there.

Granted, it was 12 hours before the cycle resets, and some DC players might be trying to get a jump on scoring. Bush league? Yes. "Tactical?" I guess...?

Are people allowed to play the way they want? Yes, of course. Even if they're in Europe and play on a North American server? Sure.

But, don't start in on any "unfair" play talk to AD here in the forums or in-game.

Understand, that some of us (maybe most of us?) have jobs or families or RL obligations and simply can't play for 17 hours a day; certainly not at 4am. And when nothing is going on in late primetime and you can't find fights for AP, but have worked hard all month long to be in the top 2%, it's painful enough when people can log on in the afternoons early primetime and face low/medium pop to get AP (potentially costing you ranks in the 20-30).

AD has done a fair job at policing our own in zone and PMs about unwritten courtesy rules. I think most group leaders in EP (that I've talked to) have started to call this foolishness out with their own. But DC? I don't know. I know Atlas wouldn't stand for it. I know Betsy wouldn't put up with it, nor would Sub or Fengrush, if they were on. It simply makes you look bad.

In either case, if this is accepted by DC, overall, without saying anything to those groups who would do it... then,

...when some of our AD groups violently snap our heads around and stare at DC, then torch the west side of the map... don't come to us with any rage tells or salt, or "team green" talk.

Let's start this new cycle off on a level field, when there will already be guilds from all 3 factions coming from Had and TF. The lawns should see good fights this month.

Before anyone jumps down my throat, yes I am guilty of morning / afternoon capping in the past. Usually for a reason (revenge, getting a guild mate emp etc) however that doesn't make it any better.

That said, yes several key folks have asked in /zone for EP not to morning cap. Betsy on her EP and Humphie both come to mind as prominent players who have spoken out against it. When EP doesn't listen, they switch factions to try and stop them.

Unfortunately everytime this is discussed, we end up with the same smattering of opinions; some are for it, some are against it and some could careless either way. There is always some group that will night, morning or afternoon ca cyrodiil when it can't be defended.

1. Faction locked (can only play on one faction for the whole campaign)

2. Only open 12 hours a day (maybe noon to midnight)

3. Scoring every minute, reduce the accumulated scores by 50% on every hour. This would make all nodes on the map a priority at all times.

4. All cross-faction messaging disabled while either the sender or receiver are in the home campaign.

5. ?

I think the faction lock should be a normal thing... Not just something special.

Wholeheartedly agree with #1 and #4. Coming from DAoC I expected this when the game was released but it wasn't to be. Obviously changing the main campaigns isn't an option so a new server type makes sense. I don't agree with with #2 and I'm impartial to #3.

A large percentage of players don't care about factions or the map though, they just want to MOBA their way through Cyrodiil and then /w about how huge their e-peen is.

#2 sucks in some ways but it's the only way to prevent night capping.

As I log out for the night and see just now all sides are 3 bars. It was just AD with 3 until just recently. Have fun all.

Bringing my DC BwB guild to Azura for this week, since good ol Vurian decided to push emp there.

The pace is so different here. Usually I can tank fairly well with my 5 heavy but here, I get bursted down pretty fast even if I'm close to resist cap. I have no other choice then using food and then I'm stuck with garbage stam regen and end up dying to CC on magdk.

Still deciding if I should play a blue or a yellow.
Blue got destroyed this round but they also dominated for 6 months straight so I'm thinking yellow.

I'd go with DC at this point, AD has had decent pop for about a week, while DC has been consistently undermanned. It's just a risk that the faction would be tainted by association if certain playstyles returned.

Nice video. Was the @Alishka_Gunter just bringing this to my attention or something? I didn't see my name in there? As for Devine, he's running his sorc killer build. In that spec he is utterly useless against any stamblade. Even I crush him 1v1 in that spec.

Really though, I thought I'd see alot more from Josh by name. Only a couple decent players in there, hell some weren't even level 50 lol.

I like that scoring every minute idea! That would solidify current objectives until better solutions come along.

They still need to make the rewards worthwhile though. Nothing like getting 4 lekis gear to really get you excited about the faction score lol. Maybe PvP master weapons​ that have bonuses that are better for PvP? (Not like that dreaded master staff where light attacks do extra dmg on targets in WoL lol )

They could also have a server that is free for all. Total anarchy, you can still zerg but at what cost?

Agreed. I think that 100% of players would agree, that the rewards sets haven't been updated in over a year. (and you laugh, but I got a Leki's Ring and Dagger yesterday lol)
