I want to rage at the AD, and I've already written and deleted 3 rageposts, some of which were juicy, but that has cleared the larger deposits of salt I have accumulated this weekend. Just, AD... there's too darn many of you. Please. Please stop.

Doing what? Taking the map during peak NA hours on the NA server? That's something EP and DC haven't been doing hardly at all in recent memory.

Last night DC sent a raid of 30+ to PvDoor the entire map and all the scrolls at 5am EST. AD is definitely zerging hard in retaliation to that today -- probably want to get a lot of work in since we haven't won a campaign in 6 months since it typically lacks its own night zerg, and because they know when they go to sleep blue is gonna hit our doors and NPCs super hard. Blame ZoS for lumping in global timezones to "NA PC" & blame the coward guilds who wait until factions log off instead of playing during their primetime who perpetrate the cycle. The cycle is no one faction's fault, just a constellation of salty zergbads across all three and overseas pugs who can't help it.

Sounds like a legitimate way to win.

If you're winning strategy is to literally overpower 2 - 1 then don't be surprised when people revise their strategy to simply not fight you on your terms.

The complaints about night capping, gate camping and whatever else is tiresome. The only time it's really an issue is when it begins to completely takeover an underpopulated server to the point where PVP cannot happen (see - Axe of Belharza). Azura's is nowhere near that point and any complaints really boil down to "FITE ME ON MY TIME IN MY HOUSE WITH THE STARS ALIGNED TO MY HOROSCOPE".

I'll have to go back and find my posts, in 3 different and concurrent campaigns, where I CLEARLY said that this would happen... and for all factions involved not to complain when it did.

    And look at people now...

AD was met by 2-1 populations, as well as a MINIMUM of 3-1 guilds from TF and Had, that had come to AS for their "loyalty pushes."

And the nightcapping by DC for 6 months, followed by EP nightcapping its way to countless emperorships, followed by a campaign win, this past month, would eventually be met by AD's part in this now so-called "viscous cycle."

Outside of Atlas and Betsy, when DC was bringing Fengrush's guild, followed by 90+ pugs in tow, to wipe the map, I didn't hear the Covenant calling out their own...

When EP was zerging resources with 60+ and hitting 4 separate keeps at a time with full raids, I only saw Alishka and Humphie say anything.

And to boot, several EP players were gloating, both here in the forums and in PMs, about their "dominance" in AS.

Even so, both DC and EP will use this "horrendous behavior" over the past 2 days (where AD is bringing numbers in primetime) to go back to nightcapping. Then, both factions will find it "necessary" to call in guilds from other campaigns to come "help level the playing field."

This aside, AD still only has the pug guild, TD, and RoB, running. And the bars I saw last night were 3 or poplock for EP and AD, and 2 for DC; AD stayed away from DC, for the most part.

(Oh.... did I mention the blue map this morning...? Okay. Just making sure.)

As it is, this current campaign is only 3-4 days old. All 3 factions will have plenty of population this month. And AD has how large a point lead...? Maybe 500 points? Please...

Zergs from all 3 factions will be back in full force, by month's end. Until then, you can either level your AD toon, or don't complain.

I wasn't complaining, just noting the sheer size of AD's numbers today. Felt like the JP Temple days lol. AD was pop locked to our 2 bars and DC's 1 bar.

I don't mind AD having the population advantage right now, especially when it's primetime. Most of the large groups of AD are not coordinated yet and easily farmable.

My post wasn't at all directed towards you. Rather, to some other folks who have both, commented here and in my PMs in-game.

As far as numbers go, when I logged off last night (around midnight cst), both AD and EP were at 3 bars. And today, we were both at poplock (around 4PM).

I led RoB on the run for our scrolls that DC had nightcapped, and left the door down, because DC at that time was only at 2 bars to our 3 (around 1PM). But, had it been DC taking ours, they would probably still be camping BB and BM. lol

Again, I'm not pointing fingers; I'm just stating what I have been saying for 5 months.

nice surprise attack. Unfortunately that was not us on that receiving end last night. We stuck to the main keeps aside from Kingscrest early in the night.

One of the most dangerous and vulnerable moments of any group is during siege. You are spread out, dropping or firing siege at a target, groups tend to be focused on percentages instead of surroundings. I commend you on the attack it was certainly text book.

Thanks! Your 100% right. Catching a group off guard while on siege it's your best option if your out numbered. Good fights all around last night.

can we (EP) please stop complaining about the AD zerging? I for one like them because they are mostly Easy ap and large in numbers. The only reason they are having any form of success is that EP keeps sieging keeps with less than 20/20 ALL THE TIME. DONT TRY TO TAKE KEEPS WITHOUT 20/20 siege. Its tiring seeing Great 1 v X ep guilds struggle to put put like 5 siege to take keep. stop blaming AD and show some commitment.

You know I actually admire those players that take it upon themselves to wrangle players from zone chat. It's a good thing and yes new players and some times even old players are easy AP. But when you stop and really think about it everyone started at the same place when they bought this game and its never really the destination but the journey we take that truly matters. So the best anyone can ever do is be thankful for what have or get because what would it be like if you didn't.

Absolutely, it's a thankless job and we remember times when there wasn't any group willing to pick up LFGers in zone and we would always wonder what the rest of the faction was doing (answer: not a gd thing). It was a bit silly though when they would get to TD raid 4 (only once that I recall but have seen TD3 multiple times) and they'd stack all the raids in the same location. Lately they've been getting a bit better about sending one raid here and another there, and so on, even if they don't always show results they are trying to improve. I think this increased organization on AD's side has really hindered EP the last few days to a degree. AD does tend to be full of weekend warriors though so we'll see where it goes.

Still, we should be leaving those tri-keeps alone when there aren't any scrolls there.
