Well this is so simple to solve I'm shocked you needed to come to the forum to ask about it.

    Don't like how Vampirism looks?
    Don't be a Vampire.

    There.

    Simples.

And no need to waste development resources on it.

You can fix it yourself now.

My opinion is just as valid as anyone else's in here. Stop crying and grow up.

Hahahaha, unreasonable opinions are never valid, as is yours. Stop crying and grow up

I have the same opinion as half of the people who voted in this topic. You don't get to decide whose opinion is valid and whose isn't. The only people crying here are the ones getting their underwear twisted over their vampires not being sparkly and beautiful. If you want to play Barbie dolls make a character in Tera Online, Black Desert Online, or Blade and Soul. This isn't the game for it.

I would support such a skin. I would want them to charge crowns for it though so that it wouldn't be very common. Preferably a hefty amount of crowns.

I don't want to be a vampire, but it's nearly impossible to pvp a non-sorc magicka build without mist form because of root spam. I would much rather have access to a magicka shuffle/forward moment than being a vampire, but no such thing exists. It's weird to me people oppose being able to toggle off vampire when putting on any quest disguise already does just that. This seems like something ZOS could easily monetize in the crown store so maybe they can upgrade the servers, and it's 100% cosmetic, avoiding pay-to-win complaints.

This would be a good opportunity to add some more story. Powerful vampire NPC's such as Verandis Ravenwatch have the ability to hide their true nature. Perhaps once players reach a certain point (in the skill line, the quest line, achievements or a combination of those), they could also learn this ability.

    Ha,

Sorry to say, but seems really hypocritical in this game to tell people that they should suffer the consequences of choosing vampire and stay with the look.

I have two vampire characters and they prance around with red eyes and pale skin. However, all the NPCs are like.. "Oh hey.. person.. that 'TOTALY' looks like a vampire. Please help us!?" my Vampire: "Ahem, why yes.. of course!"

Pleaaase.. the 'NO' voters are pretty hypocritical in saying vampires suffer consequences when the game doesn't even hint at my characters being a vampire with exception of a few NPCs. Even VAMPIRES don't even recognize me as a vampire, but here my character is.. in all her fabulous Vampiric glory.

This debunks the opinions of the Blood sucking look having ANY effect in the game.. because it DOES NOT! I didn't pay for this game so my character looks like she has chalk all over her. I created my character and that should be how she looks.

People run around in skeleton form.. looking other creatures.. so please.. don't give Vampire looks the.. "Suffereda conse.. conser.. cooncyki.. consekences.. I hate vampires.. so.. so I against dem.."

There is no other reason to have pale skin as a vampire in this game just as no reason to dress like a friggin jester, because it doesn't represent anything but some meta-visual description that other players can see.

Visually my characters suffer NO consequences in the game.. it is just something ESO decided to plaster on my character to show other players that.. "HEY VAMPIRE!" As well as NPCs..

    This is my point:

Vampires are supposed to be something of intrigue and mystery to the 'normal'. They should be considered hidden and veiled from the mortal eyes... Just as Werewolves are in their non-scooby-doo form.

Skills of Vampires and Werewolves aside... the Vampire is visually at a disadvantage and looks silly in this game when running around a city that every NPC is just too dumb to even notice a vampire..

I Vote YES.. do change it a bit, or add some different pale versions. Perhaps when not feeding enough, eyes start to become more crimson; hence, vampires gain stronger abilities when not feeding. More pale when starving. Both sides win.. and then when you don't feed enough... Guards.. Guards! ;)

OH.. Sorry if I offend the Nay Sayers! I challenge your Logic in fun!

There's no "extra power" it's just another skill line. I use it sparingly on a couple characters and not at all on my Sorc. Why? Because vamps skills are not at all "uber." They are, in fact, so lame in the main as to be completely optional.

there is 1 way to hide vampirism already though.
    Disguises.
there is a good amount of disguises out there but I'd morely want a gameplay setting to hide vampirism so I can actually wear costumes instead of disguises and other appearance items while I RP as a human / ww while being a vampire for ooc use. just many of the disguises don't look good on one of my toons.

Seems kinda unfair that effectively character creation is thrown out the window when you become a vamp. Keep the skin and eye color, just give me back my tattoos

I want my character's beautiful green eyes back as well. I kinda like the pale skin....until I notice all the veins in it even at Stage 1. And I want her makeup not to be faded away to nothing.

    Here's vampire Morna:
    uK3b4Lh.png

And here's Morna in her mortal guise:
    oQJL49I.png

I wold kill for her actual makeup and eye color with a skin somewhere in between these two extremes. And no veins!

Though I will admit that, in the right lighting, vampires can be quite lovely:

If the vampire negatives outweigh the positives for you, then deciding not to become one is working as intended, right? Your opinion is exactly why everyone would be a vampire if ZOS made them normal-looking.

you shouldn't have to balance gameplay benefits with aesthetics. Gameplay choices should be separate.

The decision to be a vampire should take into consideration whether you want more sustain while taking more fire damage or not. That's it.

It already has consequences. It doesn't need to have this consequence specifically, which is changing your character's appearance, since the lore supports hiding vampirism and this isn't the only consequence of being a vampire ;)
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.
