    Anyway.

    I tested on PC today and Thaumaturge is increasing the damage on PS. I use the same technique as the video in this thread using Blessed as the CP dump when not using Thaumaturge.

    So this is clearly a console only problem. Sorry guys, no idea how that happens.

    edit: to be super clear, I used floating text, not tooltips. Although tooltips were also increased properly.

    Have you gone over all your weapon traits? They changed a lot. For instance Nirnhoned used to give spell resist and spell penetration but now it just increases the damage of the weapon by x%, which translates to an small increase in weapon/spell damage.

    Not as good as before and could be accounting for your decrease in dps.

    Please fix our Sweeps Templar vMSA Weekly Leaderboard is a sorry sight in comparison to the others on EU XB1. Hopefully the first incremental patch will fix it until then the constant kicks and loss of DPS from Sweeps and Burning Light makes vMSA a no go for me.

    Bring back Sweeps Deeps.

    Ive been using sharpened on my dw bar... pre and post DLC.
    So it shouldn't have dropped my dps at all.

    Went 73 elemental expert and 73 elfborn in the meantime since cp in thaumaturge isn't making a difference. While my sweeps crit really hard the base damage numbers are just not there as other ppl have been describing. Most high spell dmg magplars on my friends list all lost considerable dps. Please just give us some sort of insight. is this intentional or a mistake? I'm leaning towards mistake for the fact alone that PC is fine.

    This is affecting an entire class! This cannot be ignored and needs to be fixed ASAP. I am a day one subscriber and would like some of the money to go towards making my class playable again in PvP. Does ZOS really hate Templars this much?

    While we're at it, could you please take a look at toppling charge? It now fires every time, but you tend to fly over the target and end up losing LoS. It also takes a second longer. I know this because I time with dark flare and it's hitting before I knock them over.

    I posted this on the 16th over on the XB1 support forum. My mistake, I actually thought posting it there would get attention from ZOS. Joke's on me.

    Anyway - testing info and results:

    After noticing that my stamina Templar's damage output was less than expected based on calculations, I have taken the time to do some testing.

    This morning I redistributed all Champion Points to zero, removed all gear, removed all skills other than Biting Jabs. [Note: I did NOT put any CP into any other node or constelllation. The only node used for testing was Thaumaturge. This was to isolate the effects of that node alone.]

    Unfortunately I don't have add ons on the console, so I had to go by what the combat text indicates.

    Using a handy Mammoth as a punching bag, I began introducing points into Thaumaturge, with the following results:

    0 pts - Biting Jabs Base Damage - 426. Critical Damage 681.
    1 pt - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    2pts - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    5pts - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    10pts - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    15 pts - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    27 pts (10%) - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    48 pts (15%) - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    73 pts (20.1%) - Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.
    100 pts (25%)- Biting Jabs Base Damage 426. Critical Damage 681.

    It is my understanding that this was an issue at some point on the PTS, but that it had been fixed on the PC/Mac platform. I just wanted to make sure the developers are aware of this apparent failure of Thaumaturge to increase Biting Jabs damage as a DoT ability.

    For what it's worth, Mighty seems to be working just fine with Jabs.

    Let's put it this way there is a good chance that this will be fixed before the government fixes and rolls out the NBN lol. Maybe and small maybe I'll have it by 2018 :p

    This is BS. ZOS nerfs the damage of a whole class on consoles and still there is no maintenance next week to fix it.

    Toppling charge is still buggy, yes, but it never has worked so good.

    Here is to hoping we will get confirmation this morning of this bug and some type of indication when we can expect a resolution.

    Thanks to @jediprime74 for performing the isolation tests needed to reproduce the issue. With this and the video posted earlier, there is definitive proof that the scaling of thaumaturge with sweeps/jabs is broken on console.

    I logged into my Templar yesterday to do my weekly vMA scoreboard run.

    I normally hit well over 450k with one or two deaths to something stupid. Yesterday, my damage was in the toilet (by about 25% lol). I tested with 100 in Thaum and then 100 in Blessed after the first boss took me forever to kill. Obviously, the numbers bounce a round a little bit for each hit, but there was no noticeable damage increase with the points in Thaum vs. the points in Blessed. I was aware of my pre DB patch numbers, and they are now nowhere near as high.

    I moved my Templar's gear to the bank and will not play her until we have a fix for this one. This one bums me out, because while I can do vMA on some of my other characters, I really enjoy running it most on my Templar.

    So the pact weapons really shouldn't be giving double than a normal weapon enchantment? It did seem strange an extra 612 wpn dmg proc on a blue pact axe. I've got almost 6k wpn dmg after 2 light attacks (procing kena and 2 weapon enchants) it;'s way too OP

    It is so sad to see yet another day go by without acknowledgement of this issue. I guess it is time to do what all others have already done and get my stam DK ready for trials. Maybe I can play competitively in end game trials with my templar in a few weeks.

    Investing in this thread. Found out yesterday that next to the Thaumaturge issues and Burning Light not scaling off of spell damage, Binding Javelin also has its base range reduced. But only on rank 3. Because logics. Now I can't hit anyone with Javelin when I'm defending a keep T_T

    Anyway, I hope these issues get sorted out soon. I'm waiting for a fix so I can give vet Maelstrom a shot.

    Hello? @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @wrobel can one of you PLEASE ACKNOWLEDGE THESE ISSUES? Our class is COMPLETELY broken and you have yet to acknowledge it after COUNTLESS TESTS. OVERLOAD GOT FIXED A DAY LATER, AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR PLAYER BASE PLEASE
