Hopefully it will change, but for the last few days Azuras has been kinda pointless from the EP perspective. I don't mind the general DC number advantage. But the current DC emp is basically unkillable. The combination of no CP, Emp, Templar Heals and the Malubeth (and probably Reactive) set is WAY overpowered.

Numerous times in the last few days small EP groups have been holding our own against larger DC groups (capturing resources, threatening Keeps, etc.) only to have the Emp show up - at which point the fight is over.

We had the same issue with the AD emperor. We'll hold off 30+ potatoes with half that number, until the AD emp shows up and blows the whole defensive line solo. We had to turn to siege to kill her it was so bad, and by then it's too late. XD

But that's the nature of the game. One player gets super powers. It's kind of awesome.

we were complaining last night that we probably need to drop emp. We over estimated the AD's tenacity. They gave up so easily and quickly, we didnt expect it. We imagined with the amount of talk they would stick around but nope =/

The current situation is leading [back] to a dead server. I've been around on Azuras since the no-CP change and intend to continue. But it's hard to convince many other EP that it's worth the effort to keep banging their heads against a wall.

The problem as well is DC impetus as soon as they are on the winning side. Every campaigns terribles come out the wood work once you get the enemy on its heels.

Im going to speak with the guild tonight, AD has learned their place(something about mouths, cashing checks and all that). No need for EP and DC to have a dead campaign over it.


I must say though I am very, very disappointed in a few EP who i previously respected talking about "macros" and such. but they are a minority.

There are a couple of EP constantly saying Emp is using CE. I haven't seen any proof of it. Seems simply another case of ESO not being particularly good about fixing broken sets.

Start by letting AD keep Faregyl and their home keeps. Same with EP (we have, except for the one I think). Limit our defense to the ring keeps.

There's no need to pass emperor around like a joint, it should be earned. But we'll get more enemy players when the other team has their home keeps. It's psychological.

An emperor can't be everywhere at once. When AD Valla had it last week, we tried to hit multiple keeps so all of us wouldn't have to deal with his emperor nightblade sh**. He was camping our home keep Glad, and flagging multiple keeps eventually helped us get it back.

Edit: it's a game, there's no need to kick the other guy in the balls because you have a better poker hand dealt.

I still think it's funny (albeit a little creepy) that someone would make an alt account, just to come on the forums and support the ramblings of his main. lol

That being said...

EP has had larger numbers than AD in Cyrodiil all week. Any AD pugs you see are most likely brand new players.

Most (if not all) of the rest of us aren't snibbling or whining about the current Emp "sharing his account so that his toon's character can be online all the time." Nor are we whining about "...the DC players that were caught using cheat engine and banned, only to roll new toons and still using cheat engine."

No conspiracy theories from us.
We've simply moved on, to do other things in ESO. If PvP in AZ is hurt by it, then so be it.

If some DC players get off on "...teaching people lessons" and/or "proving themselves" on an online game, then that's ok, too.

I ran alongside a DC player's alt last night, just poking around, and had a blast! Because he's not a gloating tool.

You see... some people that are in this War "WANT" to be hated or feared, or to get some kind of "respect," that they can't find in their real lives.

The rest of us are just here to have fun, earn rewards, and make friends. And sure, trash-talking is fun... but to an extent.

If "some" DC wanted to clear the map, either fairly or unfairly, then fine. They've succeeded. Does it mean that ALL of DC are horrible people? Of course not. Does it mean that all of AD is leaving Cyrodiil? No. We all, myself included, still love Azura. But, we'll leave it alone for right now, because we simply don't feel like wasting our money or our time.

But, people who "NEED" players on an MMO to somehow "bow down" or give recognition to them or another faction, because it fulfills something that's lacking in their real lives... that's a sickness. And you won't find what you're looking for. You'll still go to bed tonight unhappy, unfulfilled, and bitter.

DC Emp just dethroned. DC didn't put up much of a fight.

Think most people recognized it was not good for the campaign. IMO.

Me him and most the other guys have a super weird schedule. I work for a big software company and from home so I have odd gamers hours and am all over the place, and so many times I wake up and am like "dude how are you still on" and hes like no, i slept for 3.2 hours, then did real life, then played for 2.1, then did another 1.5 hours of real life followed by 1.6 of sleep.

its hilarious to listen to especially when we all have the same thing sort of going on.

My friends and I were busy trolling EP at Kingscrest all last night on TF. Flagging their home keeps, disrupting travel, ambushing their siege four or five times (they kept coming back to the same place over and over) and camping their gate until it opened for a scroll run. Then AD beat us to their offensive scroll while we farmed AP.

Anyways, point is: We'll be back! Eventually. The lag there is terrible, we're talking 1-1.5 seconds for a streak to fire.

PS: In all seriousness though, there was a LOT of damn good combat out there tonight, DR had 12-14 and were very mobile, i think we fought basically everyone on the server at least once. To the AD at Roebeck - your AP was absolutely delicious.

Also, I got to fight Sippy Cup!!!! Where the heck has he been?

He's not using reactive lol and i've seen a few emps on azura since i've been playing here and they are not overpowered, but it may seem that way when a player who knows what he's doing is emp.

From the AD rumors, I heard that he admitted using CE for health regen gaining full health every second. From my previous battles with them, I could agree with that he's using something to get back to full health. With Battlespirit in place, there's no way an Emp with 40k health should go from 10% to full health in 1 second. That happened earlier this week at BB. Even Malubeth isn't that broken but I guess could be the case depending on what emp buffs there are. That was with him alone also, none of his healbot friends were around at the time.

With all the sets that have been added since launch, they should tone down the Emp buffs even more. It's too easy for people to create somewhat god like builds as it is. When you add Emp buffs on that, no one wants to fight and just leaves.

It is not simply a case of him being a good player and Emp. The difficulty of killing him (instantly heals to full from below 20%) is unlike any Emp I've seen - and I've played pretty much exclusively in PvP since early betas and seen many really good players as Emp.

I'm not willing to say he is using CE (others seem convinced he is) because I would hope that ZOS would have taken action in response to all the reports that have been submitted. But regardless, ZOS should take a look and address whatever combination (sets, emp, no CP) created the situation.

Well we showed up because of this thread about what 2 pages ago saying more presence was needed, so we came over to dethrone or do what we could to help, it was after 6pm eastern so I figured no foul to be called on that, being prime time for most people.

When we arrived some DC randoms were doing all they could to hold all of EP at Kingscrest, so while the pugs pushed that and Arrius, i took BRK, while the pugs hit chalman I took Ash, and it just went from there. Then we ran that scroll back and AD woke up and took Roe and Alessia in the meantime.

Nothing was undefended honestly, except Ash, that was an intentional hamstring move, so ill take the blame on that piece of PvDoor for sure. Dont think yall saw that one coming and that was the point of it. Was playing to win expecting the supertank emp to show up any minute, that and it looked like most of DC seemed to be defending Roe at that time, so I decided to cut ya all off.

Aleswell was a good fight mostly, but it was the fights with AD to the south for me that yielded real AP, we poked DC only a little at glade after the dethrone, I didnt really wanna press too hard. Thwarted on throning bit though, DC hitting us in the back at Roebeck to prevent that while Sippy Cup and crew sieged the hell out of us in front made that not happen.

After that it was just farm city at Fare and Roe for the rest of the night, and chasing DC 3-5 mans all over the place cause they kept tagging stuff.

So that was you guys who took nikel and roe and just farmed that corridor for hours last night? LoL I stayed out of that because it seemed to be a farm.

There was more red last night that I've seen in a long while, which is nice. Did have a couple of AD keep jumping though, thats unfortunate, but i'm sure they will get the point .
