Watch them come back with a PR message of "this isn't cheating" and no bans. Just like two certain EP sorcs weren't "cheating" either with their 98% mitigation. Nothing is new here people.

Whatever the reason is for anyone to chain cast ultimates, it's obvious something is not correct.
Good that ZoS was clear! And even if nothing happens to those few who would even consider cheating like this, the EU PC Cyro "culture" is kinda united about out right cheats and 3:e programs.

Use this even for "fun", and bye bye PvP-guild, Social Guild, Trade guild and whatever group they enjoy playing with.

This is so stupid, it ruins whatever fun there is to raiding. I'm not even going to run a group at campaign reset, what's the point? Wins mean nothing because no one can trust in players' legitimacy, can't even learn from losses if you don't know your enemies were playing it straight.

The problem is that cheating engine enables you to fine-tune how much cheat you want. There is a strong possibility that a lot of players cheat in a way they might never be found.

The problem is that cheating engine enables you to fine-tune how much cheat you want. There is a strong possibility that a lot of players cheat in a way they might never be found.

Thats the main problem for me. I was very careful not to throw accusations, but now... the nasty doubt will always be there... and although i wanted to try DB on live just for all maxed out characters (not very fond of the content to be frank) i just lost the will. Well we will see how it unravels.

Not to forget that if Zenimax doesn't have a system in place to identify every single player who used the hacks, we will see a ton more people in Pvp / Pve land with a new maelstrom weapon in the near future. Pretty disgusting.

The bottom line is the integrity of the entire game is ruined for everybody right now, because anyone using hacks has an unfair advantage if they are spamming it or not. What does the competition and community mean when some people have a win button?? The death of an MMO is when people dont want to play it anymore, and the more hacks and exploits tolerated by game makers the less new people will want to buy the game because its reputation as a fair system has been destroyed.

If you want players to keep paying you subscription fees and you want new customers you have to maintain a game that people have positive things to say about. Besides the lag and the issues I have experienced in the last two years, nothing has made me ever want to give up on the beautiful game you have created, except now. I cannot be a part of a game that allows cheating. Many Many Many other people feel this way and these people will make posts, put up videos, and spread the word until nobody will ever want to try this game because it is quote "filled with hacks and exploits and impossible for new players to play".

This was absolutely over the top last night on Trueflame AU time, players from all 3 fractions were spamming Ultimates. Unfortunately PVP is a bit of a waste of time until something is done about it, players caught doing it should be permabanned.

It's not the meteor spammers that worry me. It's the people who are impossible to concretely identify because they cheat subtly.

While I don't expect ZOS frontline support or community staff to know or express this, senior ZOS devs and leadership are all well-aware ESO is vulnerable to this kind of cheating. It is inconceivable that they are not. This isn't a new kind of cheating. It's been done for decades.

It's almost a good thing that this is happening because the cat is out of the bag and there can no longer be plausible deniability.

I know from other games cheating is widespread. The VAC ban stats are staggering.

In a past life, I was an analyst responsible for auditing performance metrics in a corporate environment. There too, cheating was widespread. In my experience, in an environment where rules are not enforced, eventually more than half of a group of people will cheat if others are getting away with it. Most people are followers. This is how nations of people can collectively do very bad things.

I am never going to assume that any individual is cheating without some evidence, but it is naive to believe a game as insecure as ESO wasn't already plagued by players capable of using general tools to hack memory or create beneficial client-side lag.
