Fix will take more time if it ever can be fixed. What they might do is to add some kind of detections to find people using hack program. People who doom the game for this obviously has not played FPS games where hacks are even more common and there are multiple detection and ban countermeasures in place and people still do it and also many people still play them never the less.

This better be fixed by the time DB patch comes out. I still wanna play some DB, but will be waiting until after this is dealt with.

Edit: Also the issues with gap closers better be fixed before the patch goes live to. Delay the patch if you have to.

Probably because the FPS games doesn't have to deal with 10FPS, 999+ ping, a constantly degrading quality of PvP and with that a degrading playerbase number.

I suggested not even opening the launcher on tuesday and longer if needed if ZOS does not make an announcement before the DLC patch starts. There is no excuse not to do everything possible right now to ensure that this kind of stuff happens again any time soon.

I'm pretty sure that our guild will continue to run as always. Playing pvp is what we look forward to doing. So honest guilds and players just need to keep showing up.

Agreed, so far tonight (and I haven't been on long) there's been no signs of people doing this. Perhaps our community is better than we all give it credit for. Early days though.

This makes me sick, an EP kid who was already permabanned for hacking/exploiting and bought the game again did this to me 2 months ago. I should have reported him then.

Good luck collecting video proof from people who are using this tool to hack in a smarter, less visible way. Even more good luck trying to get proof of people using this tool to farm their vMSA loot.

You're probably welcome. Unless you were part of the blob that finally wiped us at Ash around 8PM EST. In that case, please be polite enough to let khajiit get another forward camp up next time.

Incidentally this issue over cheating is one reason Telel began streaming their PVP runs. When the inevitable accusations occur the evidence is being streamed live over the internets.

Though originally it was done to disprove this horrific myth that Telel is somehow a good player who should be feared it's been a handy counter to so many rage tells and accusations.

Perhaps some of the truly 'good' players who are better than a humble one should take up a similar practice.

Jessica. I know its standard procedure for ZOS in these situations to go dark regarding results of actions against players, but in this case, because your game is currently vulnerable to an easily configured and readily available third party program...

You need to make a statement to the community, stickied and visible to all, that anyone using this is going to be permabanned, and put some fear into the hearts of the people who will see a slap on the wrist behind closed doors response, and say "hey i can get away with it"

You gotta do this, because its already spreading like wildfire in Cyrodiil, and examples need to be made to curb it until your engineering/programming team can secure the client vs the hack itself.

This program is able to do more than just spamable meteors. And it's not only used since its latest patch. Ppl use small speed hacks since ages. You can boost your regen. I doubt you can evidence this in a vid.

Ppl will continue to use it. Detect the tool in the background from your side. There is no other way.

I've heard it's been used to increase everything, the smart cheats don't go too far....

It can probably explain the dodging... the super fast wrecking blow spam and a 100 more things that have been attributed to skill or l2p or "I r gud animation canceller".

This sux for the true 1vx'rs like Sypher, Blabs, etc. You can see them LOSing. Heck they even post videos so u know they are legit.

The true culprits dont post videos if themselves. But when they dodge 9 projectiles in a row their buddies and themselves yell rng and get gud.

A programmer explained to me if the weree good enough they could change thier rng or extend thier major evasion buff when it procc'd. can anyone confirm this?

Or solo group PVE content, and because there's nobody to take a video of you, you don't even have to be subtle about it.

This game needs a client-side detection system implemented like VAC, GameGuard, etc.
Banning the few individuals who actually brought this problem to people's attention is just a publicity stunt that isn't going to solve anything at all.

Does that detract from the fact that he exploited a scroll out of a keep, and then ran it with speed hacks? Does that detract from him getting the worlds fastest vMA time from cheating?
