Naturally, I tested the new charge mechanics on the PTS as soon as it downloaded. Unfortunately, my pessimism and realistic expectations were met 100%. Gap closers, I hate to say, even worse now. Critical Rush and Focused Charge feel sluggish, making it easier to avoid and harder to maintain proper agility during a fight. The new mechanic is interesting, giving us the ability to "jump" between points, much like what Ambush does, but it is still unfinished and obviously doesn't address the problem of gap closers not functioning reliably.
As I've pointed out before, consuming a potion will enable any charge ability to function again, so it's difficult for me to diagnose it as a "pathing" issue.
