Gap closers are still broken

Naturally, I tested the new charge mechanics on the PTS as soon as it downloaded. Unfortunately, my pessimism and realistic expectations were met 100%. Gap closers, I hate to say, even worse now. Critical Rush and Focused Charge feel sluggish, making it easier to avoid and harder to maintain proper agility during a fight. The new mechanic is interesting, giving us the ability to "jump" between points, much like what Ambush does, but it is still unfinished and obviously doesn't address the problem of gap closers not functioning reliably.
As I've pointed out before, consuming a potion will enable any charge ability to function again, so it's difficult for me to diagnose it as a "pathing" issue.

    Needs fix badly...this bug is INFURIATING and has caused me more deaths than I care to think about.

    It almost seems you've put more professionalism into the editing of this video than ZoS has in fixing toppling charge.

    Agreed. Whoever came up with the design should be shot in the foot and only admitted to hospital when he manages to find 3 other people willing to maim themselves the same way in order to accompany him.

    There's been a lot of changes for these types of abilities under the hood - please try them out once the patch is available, and let us know what you think about them now. :)

    Playing Ark and then going back to eso to check out the news, makes me really just cringe at it.

    For quick comparison ark goes with 2-3 patches a week to fix minor things, eso build up in a massive unstable stack that is just waiting to collapse of bugs.

    Ark, you can play single player, pve online, or pvp online (depending on what the server is set to), as well as variyng difficulties in the start section. Eso pve content becomes ingreasingly easier, and pvp content is next to ingored, while the greatest challenge is the lag and sudden crashes it has in spades.

    To summarise. I just want them to admit defeat and let the game become like arks game options setup, want to play solo, go rigth ahead, want to play pve with people join a pve server or make one your self, ditto for a pvp server. The other would of course be to just let us the players do some of the fixing, because if anything have been proven with the modder communtys of ES games (which actually ranks highest in sheer number of mods) is that they are sight on scene when a bug is discovered, although would be fun if they did a witcher 3 way of handling exploits/ers.

    But I know this is most likely a pipe dream, so i will say how it would have worked out, when i finally get a hold of a time crystal, and enter the multiverse. Hopefully avoiding testiclemonsters.

    I wonder when they will replace those abilities because they can not fix them.

    1St duel. Went to Toppling Charge in got stuck charge animation. Didn't even get that in TG patch, only the not firing bug.

    lol, did you expect anything else?

    whatever hits pts will hit live servers (in at least 90% of the cases) ;)

    Dont worry, my invasion sucks too, does the same crap. Literally dont work 50% of the time atleast. Frustrating as hell in PVP.
