If a game had 'Elderscrolls' in the title I would find it hard to ignore.

Having said that - I do feel a little disappointed in the quality of gameplay since the TG patch :/

lol hell no. They're so fortunate this game has an Elder Scrolls title or it'd be ded af

TES title was the only thing that brought me in.
The interactive combat is what got me to stay.
The poor PvP experience is what's shoving me away.

Although I do have some problems with certain decisions ZOS makes and also with certain bugs or missing things and whatnot, I wouldn't say straight "no" or "yes", because I don't know. It really depends on the game.

I'm mainly.. no, actually only here because it's an Elder Scrolls game. I'll definitely play the next ES single player game if there will be one (and I think it will), but in this case, I hope it will be developed by Bethesda again nonetheless. It's not that ZOS does everything wrong, that's just not true (I'm still here after over 2 years, am I not?), but a single player ES game wouldn't be the same without Bethesda creating it ;)

As closed architecture game, I'd say no, never again. But a single player game, like Skyrim, certainly, because one way or another the community will end up doing what the company didn't do or didn't care to do with unofficial patches.

The way this company managed to screw every single aspect of this game, rendering it unplayable and totaly broken is definately the decisive factor for me. If this game was developed by some other company we would probably be talkin about the MMO of the century. But it had to be the incompetent ZOS. After 2 years in beta mode (we are celebrating today with a bugged cake, dont you forget!) this game only has to offer misery, frustration and anger cause it actualy got more bugs than content. Servers are totaly unstable, lag, crashes, disconnects everywhere. pvp is unplayable for that reason. Classes are unbalanced as no other MMO has ever managed. The game suffers from optimization issues. FPS issues. Loading screens issues. "You name it" issues. Everything is broken, seriously, I strongly recomend to anyone who consider himself a dedicated player not to play this one. You gonna be spending alot of time for a game that will never recover from the ultra bad management of ZOS. This game is totaly crown store orriented, the only reason they make new DLCs is so they got a background to sell more pets and mounts through the crown store, cause anyone can clearly see that their DLCs are 3 hours of new content and limitless hours of extreme bugs and lags. I have never ever before experienced such lvls of incompetence by a gaming company. I would never in my life trust these greedy people again in any other future game. And to be honest the only reason I still play this one is because i've invested alot of time so far in it and i'm w8ing for a future title that will catch my attention. As soon as that title appear in the market, I'm out of this shithole for good. Seriously newcomers...leave as far away as you possibly can from this game. Its not worth it. Zenimax is not a good company, they only care about stealing your money through their precious crown store with their unbelievable prices. They sell vanity items in prices of new games..."Best MMO of 2015"...What a feckin joke. This is insulting to every veteran that really know whats happening ingame. it should be "Worst MMO of 2015". "Investigating, no ETA" the only 2 things you gonna hear them say about every single problem that should already be fixed... hell, comparing to other MMOs these problems should never even exist in the first place. ESO is doom. Stay away from it.

No. Considering how ZoS is handling various aspects of ESO right now, I would most definitely not purchase another ZoS title. I love the Elder Scrolls, a lot of people do. However, they're placing more focus on the business aspect of the game versus the gameplay experience. That's fine. That's what a business does and should do, but they also have to consider the community to respond accordingly when they're experience is placed in a lower priority position.

I hope ZoS sorts their resources out soon though. There's still a good idea here with TESO with a ton of potential. If they pull ESO out of the grave it's slowly falling into, I may consider changing my mind about future ZoS titles. Possibly even subscribing...

Yeah ESO makes me grumble sometimes, but in the end, best PvP experience I've ever had with a game in a genre that I love. You no votes aren't being honest.

Some of us still play for one simple reason....lack of better options. We have played many others, spent our time there, and are done. Some of us are here simply killing time until a better option is released. When that happens, I think you'll see the impact.

This game has amazing potential, but I truly don't think it will ever be completely realized with the current dev team. It seems it's always one step forward, three steps back. When another "successful" MMO is released, we'll see where the rubber meets the road.

I've enjoyed playing ESO, but with a lot of frustration. More than any other MMO, and I started playing MMOs back in March of 1999 when the original Everquest was released, and I've played quite a few of them. So please don't be arrogant enough to presume to say who's not being honest.

I would have preferred a few more shades of maybe in the responses, but right now I feel closer to "no" than "yes" so that's my choice.

I'm not happy with the cash shop emphasis. Subscribing should count for more. The cash shop should be more within everyone's means--or there should be a way to make some crowns by playing the game. It's beginning to feel more like window-shopping in a virtual, albeit very pretty, mall than it feels like playing. And I say this as someone who could treat myself to everything in it and not miss a mortgage payment, but it would feel wrong to spend that frivolously and to encourage those unscrupulous business practices. I'm like the Bernie Sanders of ESO. ;)

Prices should be set to where every player who has a computer, internet access, and one MMO sub's equivalent of recreational funds could get a couple of things a month and the newest, most exciting items should never cost more than your average sub and nothing short of a full expansion should merit what a new, triple A game costs because that's how you'll lose customers in the long run.

Despite the eye-candy bait for bucks, it doesn't seem to be re-invested in personnel to make the game better, stabler, more content filled, or indeed, anything but hosting a bigger cash shop.

So I would not hold out hope for another game to be run any differently by this studio. If they manage to reverse the present course and improve ESO, make the cash shop something more reasonable (selling in volume and increasing variety such as a spectrum of colors for outfits would reap higher profits than overpricing the nifty stuff for a handful of outliers) and act like they give a kitten about the people playing ESO and paying ESO for the pleasure, then I would look at other games put out by the franchise if they sounded interesting.

I don't discriminate gaming companies, sure I will play another ZOS game as long as it's not an mmo.

But honestly I would rather pug vICP than ever get involved with an mmo game again, ever... this has been the most weird, frustrating, real fun at times, too social experience for my liking.

That's kind of a slanted way of looking at it. Most of my frustrations have been about the lack of interest in making the game fun and balanced and rooted in players individual combat skill in PvP, instead of a numbers game where players calculate the optimum Mathematics of a group to be unstoppable. Initially the game presented itself quite well and it was very enjoyable, but each subsequent patch has dumbed down the quality of combat. For me, this is the first patch where I have had absolutely no inclination to want to continue play because it has become clear that they are just using a carrot and stick strategy and it's patronizing.

Poor decision making which has led the game in several directions... champion point/veteran rank. By far the most bugs I have ever encountered in a game, even their anniversary gift was bugged and not thought through... buff ended when you died, different from every other xp buff in the game.

This game drove away everyone I played with at launch, most were gone in the first month and said let them know when it's not so damn buggy. Well, I am still waiting to let them know. Talked my brother into some PvP last night... well that xp thing I was telling you about, doesn't work that well out here. Then I found myself trying to justify the game going silent in large battles. So he logged and this is the way it has been.

If I would not have gotten a taste of what PvP was like early in the game, I would have been gone long ago. So like many, when something comes that grabs scratches the PvP itch, I'm done. So no, I wouldn't even watch a trailer for a game made by this company cause they are pretty good at trailers. They also have amazing graphics, but they struggle at letting a horse sprint over flat surfaces with a small rock or two.

That and the lack of focus on PvP fixes and updates(the whole reason I bought the game), and I just don't have trust in them.

And it has been nothing but going back on their word. We feel we are best as a subscription model... We will be tracking experience and it will be retroactive to award champion points... Want to have a way to access a merchant or your bank on the road? Wait, that is still happening for a small price of $80.

While I do enjoy ESO to a point. I can't help but feel that had I known what I know now that I would not have started playing. At this point I find that I continue to play due to a sense of being invested more than anything else.

I very much like the fundamentals of combat in ESO, but there are so many bugs and balance issues combined with a lack of combat feedback (though SCT was a good start). That what I find good about it gets buried under the avalanche of what's bad.
