I do feel very sorry for them.
However, technology changes and upgrades. PC gaming requires hardware upgrades every couple of years. It can be an expensive hobby.
I feel bad, but at the same time it is a major reason I play on the console.
Yes I don't get the new shiny, but I don't have to worry about my rig not handling something and having to reconfigure my entire setup around a piece of software.
A game on a console is going to use the same hardware regardless of the developers intentions.
Sort of. I understand their concern, especially if they haven't seen the announcements that were made in advance. However, I fully support the decision to enhance the game as it evolves and the box does make it clear that "system requirements are subject to change over time". I cannot believe that there are PC gamers who don't understand that and accept it.
Console gamers are claiming that it's an advantage to play on console because the hardware and inbuilt software are fixed and they're not therefore susceptible to these issues, but the advantage that PC gamers have is that they can upgrade the individual components piecemeal without having to ditch the whole machine in order to get the next one, and moreover they can benefit from enhancements to the game through doing so.

And console is a perfect choice for you. I choose to play the game and have it look MUCH better on a PC and at a low cost. It's not like ZoS is using a technology that was released in 2015. DirectX 11 was release A LONG time ago and ESO isn't the only piece of software that requires it.

A forewarning might have been in order though. To give us all time to get people to upgrade our PCs.Not all of us know how to just open up the case and dive in.Nor do w e just happen tp have a casual $200.00 or so to throw out there within 24 hours notice.
