You a lost case brother, i see some potential Publius on you. You have fail to acknowledge that the entire situation here involve game broken mechanics and not attacking a faction or a guild. Either way i am going to make my money and keep rolling AP in my screen but i would like PvP to be more competitive and Zos have fail to delivered that experience. .

Ok all i did was makea statement which has been pretty indicative of the last 30 days of azura's...day 1 last cycle it was tough for ad to crown me emp, i went to bed and they crowned shendell at 9 am roughly...every crown emp was done in the sane fashion...all of alma ruma's are the same...meth last night is the same...only thing that hasn't has been bbq's first iirc. That's all i said in that statement...i know perfectly well the situation as I'm frustrated with having to fight 2-3 groups of blue wherever we go...i guess thanks that you think we're that much of a threat that you need that many to wipe us but come on...take crowns and many others advice and don't send the entire faction to defend one keep that's being hit by a group and some solo players...last night you were justified with having that many since we decided to play the numbers game we all hate (4 fps and 1k+ ping...don't see how that's fun for anyone)...but show some respect for your opponents by letting skill decide who wins and not lag, numbers, exploits etc.

Seriously i might be wrong here but every time we defending a keep the number i see from either AD or EP are astronomical. These is not matter of respect, is a matter of freedom ......

Same thing when we're defending from blue...especially at roebeck

I'm currently taking a break from the current cycle due to both PVP burnout as well as RL workload, but the conclusion of the previous cycle left a bad taste in my mouth. I place more blame on the questionable priorities of my own faction (I.E. having a *** for Alessia/Sejanus when DC is in the lead and pushing our keeps). However, and this is a question I posed in a different thread awhile back to which my answer was the braying of a mentally impaired donkey, There are some right proper douchewads in DC atm.

An example I'll cite: EP's militia and pug legions are sieging Aleswell. The numbers look good, the whole faction's rallied, siege is up and firing. Then guess what? 2 million gallons of raw sewage spills out from Ales. Doesn't matter that both stairs are covered with siege. Doesn't matter that we have superior numbers and several guilds fielding skilled players. It's the same exact thing all the time. Spammonkeys. Honestly, its gotten to a point where you could teach an actual monkey to play ESO and you could not tell the difference. There's no diversity no creativity. This isn't the FOTM it's the rotting, putrid FOTY.

Swivel the camera elsewhere to Sejanus/BRK. Knowing that most of AD's major guilds only have a limited time window, usually it's the pug meatgrinder. That being said, AD is far from being pushovers. Their strength lies in a rather large amount of gankers, and their players don't seem to rely on the tired and tiresome zergball to clench a win. Each of them is a strong player, and in the same area, they perform admirably. They're not rolling around in a 50+ tide of offal, their army is entrenched opposing our army. Heck sometimes the fights are so good, for whatever reason, DC's reeking refuse tsunami decides they're going to crash the party with the same tact as a pickup truck full of frat boys showing up to a private family reunion.

This is simply my observations as a solo player beholden to no guild or raid group. I know there's been times where EP thinks they have DC on the ropes at Ales and a prominent AD raid will trolololol from the south, blindsiding our siege line. If I were speaking with my angry voice in zone chat as angrily as I type, I'd be hoarse from yelling at my faction to watch out for *** like that, because the thing of it is that sort of thing becomes very predictable. Deaf ears and all I guess.

I think ZOS made it very clear that there will be no salvation in sight until after the new year. IMO it would've been easy enough to double, triple, heck even quadruple siege damage to compensate for the amtgard-esque *** Battle Spirit buff/debuff, or to just un-*** several abilities that DID serve as good anti-zerg counters back in the day, but they apparently cannot be bothered with such trivialities. Inconsequential nerfs to classes that don't need them is on their to-do list.

One thing I do know is that whenever we are sieging, unless its a dethrone or emp push, it's often a small raid sieging a keep. Conversely, the faction can't ever be *** to defend key keeps. DC could snatch Arrius and Farragut right out from under us but stop all the presses we need to defend Alessia and Faregyl because reasons. However, when we are sieging a enemy keep, usually the entire faction will show up to defend, and far more successfully than I've seen for EP. It's more to do with individual responses and priorities. I can to pelting across the field at full gallop to defend, get there, and find I'm one person with 5 other people defending against 2+ full raids. It's a stupid, galling thing, and part of the reason I'm taking a long break.

Still, the conduct I see from most DC players is not at all endearing. I remember back in the day I got a whisper from a DK complementing me on how I killed her with a fire siege, which was a total fluke, but the banter was friendly. Nowadays it's either "OMG YOU NEED 3 PEOPLE TO KILL ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS GANKING ONE OF YOUR GUYS WITH 3 PEOPLE YOU SCRUB" or "LOL U GOT REKT". DC's lost the vast majority of their decent players, and all that I see these days is stinking, vile, sewage.

Much to say, but none of it would make any difference so what's the point? It's wonderful to see acknowledgement of the significant pug support though, that's an improvement.

Even though meth can be a dangerous emp, I've only ever heard good things about him (from all sides), so I'd certainly prefer him over some of the red that belong in Jules' cesspool legacy.

There were AD on TF from what I remember. The campaign wasn't always dead. Why did those guilds leave?

TF was really, really good for the first month after it was started.

    Problems:
    1. DC has no night crew or oceanic presence. EP or AD will simply night-cap the entire map and take all the scrolls nearly every day.
    2. If a blue team show up, they will either: (1) zerg them till they quit, (2) quit if they start losing fights. I have watched this happen numerous times.
    3. Options for DC are therefore: (1) fight in AZ lag, or (2) PvDoor TF. Terrible choices.
    4. LoM is no longer an effective pvp force (Grunt quit after IC, other complicated reasons).
    zyk wrote: »
Unfortunately, the campaign dynamics changed. From our POV (and the leaderboards), VE disappeared. After that, it was open season on AD. LoM has/had an apparent bias against AD. Haxus and Khole largely seemed to go into AD farming mode--though Haxus did block Khole late night emp runs for a time. So AD players found action elsewhere.

I have to say, for all the top-tier guilds who say they only want good fights, that's not what it seems like from afar. I often observe VE and Khole ignore nearby Haxus groups and vice versa. The game is much better when those who claim to be the top guilds face each other more often. Perhaps if that were true, the players less geared/skilled/experienced/whatever might be less inclined to stack in large zergs to compete.

No one wants to be farmed over and over again. And frankly, not everyone can compete with top-tier guilds. This is true of almost all competitive games. There's no shame in being less capable than a VE or Haxus. Unfortunately, ESO has no mechanisms to encourage competitive balance. In fact, the scoring encourages the best players to CONSTANTLY farm less capable groups.

LoM has not run official groups on TF in more than six weeks. VE has been playing on AZ.

Did Blue go back to their red toon's last night I missed that, the horde of Blue been running wild the last few days and until last night red had been almost dormant, what a contrast to the past few days, but anytime you get hordes of any faction, clogging up the campaign it sucks for everyone.

The only idea Brian Wheeler had that would have done a good job at balancing the population, most players said no to it, I think they should have tried it for at least one campaign cycle on all campaigns, you never know knee jerk reactions are wrong most of the time.

Nah, did not go back to red toons lol. VE pushed really hard for two straight days to get BBQ emp, I led almost 17 hours straight. After stopping the AD emp push I took a break for the night, red pushed about 30 minutes after that :/

If I'd known I might have stayed to try to fight it, but everyone was pretty beat after that emp grind so I dunno.

5:58 am is when I posted that. So yeah, 5 man.

Meth, Hektik, myself, Clerod, Vex and for some of it Aegon. No ones denying there was insane EP pug aggro, we were laughing at it ourselves. But to just assume we're in a 24 man is pretty daft. We were nowhere near a full raid before or after meth got crowned.

But grats on finding your way to the bottom of the cesspool legacy.

Okay, you may have had a 5-man group ay 6 in the damn morning. What I am referencing to is what happened at about 11PM to Midnight at Warden, where you guys were taking our scrolls. There was a massive amount of pugs, which we wiped, THEN the emp group got there and shredded us. So, yes, hordes of pugs before the emp group even showed.

Haxus had up to 15-17? The reason they showed late is they all stacked at the gate and trusted the pug hoard to take warden. when that failed they doubled back, than pushed with the rest of the hoard to scrolls.

And...I don't suppose anyone is going to talk about the absolutely massive EP Emperor Horde in AZ tonight? There must have been 50+ pugs, not including the 24-man emp group. Methuselah got emperor and pushed DC all the way back to our gates and sacked the scrolls, all the while, they were completely ignoring the AD, not even touching them. AD had all of their home keeps while DC lost everything as EP buttfucked us. It doesn't seem like that long ago where this was a regular thing that happened to DC, and now as soon as everything turns in DC's favor, AD and EP zerglords cry to their mommies and run for the hills.

Not sure what you're talking about. When Meth's group got Roebeck, my group was doing a last hold on Chalman (there were two full 24men raids inside capping). Another guild was defending Aleswell and another guild was defending Alessia which were all flagged. People were spreaded out and were doing the right thing.

It was a legit and well coordinated emperorship claim.

Chalman was sad. Remnants of VE were there (I think 10?), and the CN raid stood outside and refused to flip flags out of what I can only assume was spite or an attempt to prove some sort of point.

That said, VE wasn't really on anymore, neither was AK or HoD or FPsd far as I know, so the Emp prob would have happened in another 10 min or so.

Kinda disappointed with the scroll Zerg. I specifically avoided that when I had a raid and emp. I am curious, Frozn, where your regular commentary on not stacking groups was when 50+ reds took scrolls against no organized resistance. I shall remember this next time you lecture me in game on the subject.

Once again, I am not talking about when you CAPPED emp, I am talking about when you pushed us to our gates and took our scrolls, the numbers there were insane.

No idea what that last bit means. But honestly, don't even have the energy to go in circles anymore.

Energy? You need FENGRUSH in your life, Jules!

Ya I remember this very vividly. We left warden bc there were 4 million pugs and went to the gate so as to not stack with them. Then they were wiped and our 12 man was like.

    Sigh.....

And we went took it ourselves.

I think the eurosmurfs read this thread and decided they can stack more than 3 guild groups. They succeeded.
