I really wish ZoS would just step in here and at least talk to us about this. Isn't that what the Developer Discussion forum is for?

What's the bug, exactly? I have Skyshards and Lorebooks I can hunt in the meantime, though I could definitely see the bug still not being resolved, so I might farm up some Motifs as well.GunemCleric wrote: »
I suggest to stop what you are doing and go collect Alchemy ingredients or farm for Dwarven motifs (be sure to disable auto-loot and only take motifs from duemor ruins or you will get the empty everything bug)
One thing that amazes me is no staff have said a word in this thread since it was started. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_KaiSchober @ZOS_JessicaFolsom could we please have some feedback?
Was there a mistake in the math? Or was it really intended that people only get 1/2 a level for doing everything in a zone? Before 1.5 we were getting slightly over 1 level for completing a zone.

We hope this explanation helps a bit, but please don't hesitate to let us know if you have any remaining questions.

Update 5 introduced a new system where all Veteran Points were converted to use XP instead, as part of our phased rollout of the Champion System. The plan was for this to reduce the amount of time it would take to gain a Veteran Rank. However, we discovered an issue where you are not currently gaining as much XP as we intended. Fixing this issue is one of our top priorities. We are currently aiming to have this fixed in our next incremental patch, which will allow you to progress though Veteran Ranks at a faster rate than what you’re currently seeing in-game. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

We’ve read your concerns about whether or not it’s worthwhile to continue playing your Veteran characters. The short answer is yes.

^^^ And double this. With 27 Agrees on his original message and climbing, are you paying attention @ZOS_GinaBruno?

Are we just seeing the typical leveling slow down that was evident after Lvl 30 but on a larger scale due to it being Veteran Levels?

Why didnt you just post this in first place instead of the rant above or maybe update this thread since.ZOS_GinaBruno wrote: »

Are clearly not true

While I can understand your motivations, leveling is not fun. And leveling is not fun because it's about Questing. And people is bored of Questing. From what I understand you expect people to like doing 70% of the zone to before getting to the next one. Then you feel Chained and that's because while leveling you feel that if you pass quests you won't be able to progress in the game.
Please Zenimax...
You've just prolonged the Pain. People farmed bosses/dungeons and Dolmens because they gived so many VP's. They were given this choice. Now they've no choice but to grind each zone. And they don't want to do this: They quit playing.

Of course I can throw out the completely opposite opinion that, at least questing makes levelling interesting. Without questing, levelling is just grinding mobs over and over and over, and that's not only boring, but repetitive. At least with questing, the story is different each time.
