Well if they like, they can change it to a 40% Snare or a 10% DMG Bonus on the next attack.Seriously?
While you are at it, lets remove the speed increase from Concealed Weapon!
Show me a video of a DW DK, TP or SC wrecking multiple folks. If you want to do that, go Resto Staff and play Leech-Blade.Better yet, remove the whole NB Class...as they are practically useless compared to other classes and abilities...I challenge anyone out there to post a Youtube video of a DW Vampire NB wrecking multiple folks at the same time like a DK, TP or SC
Running as fast as a horse during sneak is plain stupid and I say that as DW NB.Question: How on Earth is that speed game breaking or unfair? However, I could list multiple examples of other classes and abilities that are unfair...do you watch the Youtube videos out there?
NBs can be scouts, like any other class. We can be Hard Tanks with our leeches as well or great Healer and Mages as well.Fact: NBs are scouts, they are supposed to be able to move quickly and quietly across the battlefield! That is their implied role in battle tactics...
Fact: Fire damage hurts a Vampire; and every class uses fire and it is in AoE, Roots and Stuns... A DW Vampire Night Blade has to get within melee range to hit an enemy...and does not have the survive-ability of a DK, TP, or SC...now you take away the one thing they had; escape...not nearly as game breaking as that bolt ability...where you can literally bolt out of range of a spell or bow attack...
I got all my traits during the uplevel phase. Can't say I had to grind them. Same for leveling up cloth and smith. Easy to handle with just the drops out of Quests and killing Mobs.Fact: We spent the hours, upon hours, upon hours grinding traits and crafting to make that crafted armor set...for nothing.
Fact: We had to harvest, save for, wait or buy all the items needed to craft those sets (Legendary Materials)...removing the viability of wearing that set is not fair...
Fact: You need to focus on other classes and abilities before you completely break the will of the NB community. Leave the NB alone.
Fact: The armor bonus do not work in combat, yet all other armor set bonuses do work in combat - did we complain, no.

Still no notes on fixing the issue with Nightblade's DoTs breaking their own Invisibility.
Even though it was acknowledged as unintended and we were told a fix is incoming back in May.
Oh well, maybe next patch will have something worthwhile in it.
Just for clarification about this:ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Incoming Fixes & Improvements

Outstanding Known Issues
Patch 1.1.2 fixed many outstanding Nightblade issues, but below are some that we are either actively investigating, working on fixes for now, or have recently fixed and will push in a future patch. Please note this list does not reflect every reported Nightblade issue we are currently investigating.
General: Currently, a Nightblade’s own residual outgoing damage-over-time ticks break his or her invisibility. This is not intended, and will be fixed in a future patch.

Posted May 22nd. Still waiting for a fix.
This is why the Vamp + Night stalker should still stack. Its the best viable way for a NB to move around and the best way to fight streak.Hlaren_shortsheath wrote: »Sorcerer

Streak (morph of Bolt Escape) will no longer affect more than six targets, which was resulting in a much larger amount of Ultimate gain than intended.
this makes no sence at all, the sorcerer class who can spam nock down with crystal shard and also stack it with and spam the bolt escape nock down and then even bolt escape out away from harm is ignored and allowed to be continued yet you forcefully remove the speed from us nightblades so we not only cant stop them from nocking us down repeatedly spaming it over and over again but the sorcerer can even keep up with horses.
you made it so the sorcerer is over powered yet weaken yet again the weakest class us nightblades?
please stop this, please allow us nightblades that continued speed and a way to stop the stupid nock down from bolt escape.
please
They are just fixing streak to where it was uncapped before now has a cap. I do agree that night silence and vamp passive should continue to stack. The night silence yields no game changing attack damage. Those who wear it and are caught are at an extreme disadvantage.
Clansman2013 wrote: »Also agree on the stealth speed "fix" being stupid. Was it really causing that much of a problem? Honestly, it was the only way for anyone without a max level mount to have any chance at all to keep up with the crowd.
The ability for someone to completely run away from an encounter at will? Yes. This was a problem.
Can you mount your horse in combat? No. Ok then.
Hi again.

Seriously?

Fact: Speed and Stealth are the only things keeping us in the PvP fight...it sure isn't our damage output or survive-ability.

What happen to the comment we will not take away from as much as add to other classes to bring them in line with other classes? (or words to that effect).
Fact: The armor bonus do not work in combat, yet all other armor set bonuses do work in combat - did we complain, no.
Fact: Speed of the Vampire NB should not be your focus...there are many, many, many other issues you have yet to address or even mention...from beta to launch...that are still not fixed!!
Well I guess I will retire my NB...and turn her into a crafter mule...
Before I spend hours and hours grinding another class to max level, can you please tell me what class you intend to leave alone...
Seriously frustrating!
I know and understand why people are canceling their subscriptions!

- Why is it that every patch there is a patch that fixes a skill from Sorcerer,Dk, and Templar?
- Why is it when we finally get a fix for a night blade skill I never know what it is until they supposedly fix it?
- Why have they not fix shadow cloak and some skills like veiled strike?
Everybody and they Grandma can break us out of stealth. Veiled strike is suppose to be instant be there is delay in the skill. Plus the skill does not always does damage.- Why do we not have a effective defensive skill?
- Why is attack speed not noticeable?
- Why can't haste work with bows?
- Why did siphoning strikes and its morph get nerf from 4% to 3% but still has the weapon and spell power debuff?
- Why is the Agony skill and Aspect of Terror skill target very few targets for too much magic?
- Why is the shadow image ability will not let me teleport to it?
- Why is the shadow image ability allow me to only teleport to it once?
- Why does night blade only have two synergy skills and they are ultimates and why our cheap party heals really does not heal a lot?
- Why is most of night blade abilities are single target when most enemies in the game come in pairs of two and more?
- What is point of of night blades if some of our class only skills do not work?
- Why do night blade skills have debuffs in their skills like, shades, siphoning strikes, and mark target?
- Why is all enemies in the game doing more bow damage than me?
- Why is when a enemy just has one weapon they can use dual wield abilities but when I want to do it I can't?
- Why I cannot just play with one weapon why do I have to have a shield?
- Why change so much but cause everybody to have to adapt? Why can you ease into these situations Like the provisioning revamp and the clothing revamp?
- Why do you want to ease class balances but revamp other game mechanics really fast?
- Why is the bow heavy so slow?
- Why are moves so situational in this game but I never have the right skills at the right time?
- What is love? because this game is hurting me.
- Why is the alchemy skill medical use never work properly?
- Why have you not fix the warrior stone yet it has been three weeks?
- Why don't you hot fix errors why wait until a big update just to have more errors down the line?
- Why don't you let us know why your not doing these things? It would make me feel better.
- Why do I have to change the rarity of enchant potion speed for vet potions to work and why have this not been explain in detail yet?
- Why are you nerfing other classes but not fixing their broken skills?
- When are going to fix the group finder?
- What is the difference between Dodge and Miss?
- Why is the roll too short?
When I roll back I still get hit by attacks?- Why do we not have an agility attribute?
- What are you afraid of night blades becoming if you buff their skills?
- Where is the hope of fixes for our broken combat mechanics?

tomiffseb17_ESO wrote: »So you are also standing in the bat swarm right?
I love it how taking bat swarm damage is immediately associated with the person sitting there staring at the bat swarm, drooling on their keyboard. There are all manner of reasons why even a skilled player might not be able to get away from the bats (especially invisbats), unless, you know, you can just invisbats yourself.
I'm confused though, where in that quote did Dominoid mention bats? Why bring it up?
- Almost no chance of being spotted vs. being spotted at view distance
- Knowledge of any enemies you do run across (detection warning from eye)
- No stun from being attacked (knocked off horse) unless a specific stun attack was used
- No speed penalty, except to maybe the fastest speed horses
To add to that:
- With <Dark Cloak>, a near-guarantee to escape from average players (and the Sorc blink was nerfed for the exact same reason)
...
...Fact: The armor bonus do not work in combat, yet all other armor set bonuses do work in combat - did we complain, no.
It is a sneak bonus, it is obvious that it will not work in combat but it helps you to start the combat, something other sets can't.

Stygian set is a far better Sneak bonus.
Increases damage on Sneak Attacks and in combat when using Invisibility.

So you don't want combat benefit, you want out of combat scouting capability.
I see no issue with you having that. Not participating in combat is probably important to you.
Personally, I open with Ambush. I neither need nor use Sneak speed for openers.
It would be foolish to do so and sacrifice actual combat bonuses to get it.
Having a set bonus that actually benefits participation in combat is important to me.
Casting Mistform and hitting alt alt to drop out of mistform, yet still get the damage reduction, so you can cast spells is exploiting.- Almost no chance of being spotted vs. being spotted at view distance
- Knowledge of any enemies you do run across (detection warning from eye)
- No stun from being attacked (knocked off horse) unless a specific stun attack was used

You know what works better than exploiting? Not exploiting. I look forward to every patch because every patch directly and indirectly buffs my characters. If you exploit and your stuff gets nerfed, you made the choice to exploit. ZOS are simply fixing bugs, nobody forced you to abuse those bugs - you took a risk, it didn't work out, move on.
Using an item set exactly as intended by the description, after getting confirmation during PTS and when it went live that this is exactly how it is supposed to work, that is not an exploit.
driosketch wrote: »As a non vampire using night silence on two characters, rapid maneuvers seems to stack with the set bonus.
Many people, including me, asked specifically in game whether this speed bonus was going to stay, because it is quite fast. This was in both the test and live, before we crafted the sets.Using an item set exactly as intended by the description, after getting confirmation during PTS and when it went live that this is exactly how it is supposed to work, that is not an exploit.
Could someone please give a link to said confirmation? All I found was a pretty hilarious topic Night's Silence Set Bonus Broken, in which one player saw ridiculous sneak speeds coming. With no response from ZOS, of course.
Seriously, if you think sneaking side by side a running horse is ok, you've not given up a 5-piece set bonus only, you've given up your sanity.
Glad you're fixing achievements for the new stuff...but what about the Reaper's March areas that don't update in journal? Ozuk's camp and Willowgrove whatever...
