Was in a 3 man group (all V16) killn twilight a for those dang teeth. Had an AD guy /w us asking if it's cool to tag along. So we let him. He was a V16 but we all know how painful getting the teeth are.

But to be fair if I go ganking with the ol NB in your home sewer I won't stay. I'll get my kills and move along to the next.

I don't go to the sewers at all, I totally suck in the IC. Best place to be is in a zerg in Cyrodiil, just like ZOS intended.

    Northing to prove at all.

Possibly a lot of stones to gain though.

I think there is definitely an etiquette to follow once your good enough.

Don't attack first if it's 1vs1... let them take the challenge if they want to.
Don't pick on low bies... but if they accept a duel or attack you then by all means...
/tell __________, GF (insert commentary here) after you congratulate your own genius.

If ganked... I hunt that person down using whatever means I can. and continue to kill said player 2-3 times till they catch the hint.

If beaten I congratulate the victor, and seek to pick his/her brain for tips as to how to improve my build/counter his/her
Then promptly offer to kill his friends to assert his dominance.

And to those that "don't mind losing their stones" I'll be accepting your donations on NA/haderous server on Broken'stick

    another IC troll thread? ;)

IC / Sewers are PVP areas. If you want to level without interruption go to another place. there are plenty (brought 4 chars to vr16 with grinding - none of them in IC / sewers).

If Cyrodiil is laggy as hell, which is quite often, IC / Sewers are a good place to go, at least for solo players and very small groups. If I find you in the sewers, you can be certain that I'll jump you. Over and over again until I think it's enough (or you ask if I could stop... it mostly works if you ask politely). In such a case I'll whisper you, ask for motif trades and other things. ;) already a few ppl from other factions ended in my friend list this way.

Anyway, long story short: if you can't stand the ganking go to another place, there are plenty.

This is false because of battle leveling in this game you can get better stats on a low level then some people at Vet 16.You also have to remember that you can apply your champion points on your alts so a low level player can have max champion points while you only have 200 which with that low level having good gear which mean good stats you can defeat a Vet16 if you are better skilled then they are.Skill will always mean more then level.

Also I know people with multiple Vet 16 who only Duel on their alts who are not Vet16 because they find it fun and still rekt with their alts.

I just love players you catch alone in the sewers and who immediately proceed to block and jump to signal friendly. So you move on, to find some other pugs to kill, and then, guess what? The same "please spare me" player comes back with a group and starts tryharding you. Happened to me way too many times to count, so now I've got no pity for those "block-and-jump" guys on the off-chance that they tryhard you after QQing enough in the zone chat. Kill everything!

Best thing to do is run in a group. You will be protected by most single gankers or gank groups most of the time. This is what I do in IC.

If you need to run solo (Which I also do) just stay close to the base so when you do get killed you can run right back to the starting area and continue.

I find that if I just let them kill me because I am there on my PVE toon (not my PVP toon) that the fact that I do not fight back and killing me is boring they will sometimes not kill me the next time. If they continue to do so I will just traverse the 2 rooms and continue solo grinding.

I expect to be ganked in PVP areas. I really do not find the sewers to be an issue most of the time and this is scourge(XBNA). I find the same kind of resistance a lot of times when I am running the dailies in Valasterous and Cropsford. Sometimes there is a person or a group that just has decided to camp the area and gank.

The tears of my enemies, such as the ones found in this thread are the reason that I attack everyone I can in this pvp enabled zone.

Maybe we should suggest to zos putting in a place where people can level without pvp....

You have to be playing in a high population campaign for this to be a consistent issue. Ive been in sewers all week and havent come across a single group, I have encountered other players but you make it sound like their are groups if gankers running amuck down there when that really isnt the case at all.

It's an open PvP zone with no rules or etiquette.

You can't enforce your beliefs on how the game should be played on other players, the only rules are in the ToS.

Wrong. A vet 16 will always have better stats when using the same colour gear that they did on any level.

I've got 4 toons to 16 since this method of battle levelling has been on the game. PvPed with then all so I've seen the stats.

As much as etiquette would be nice...

You're in a PVP zone. Players get AP, Tel Var, and EXP for killing you. Not to mention it's fun killing other players. Even if there was only ONE good reason to kill you, people would do it. And there is more than one.

Don't know what to tell you, OP.

    I agree with the OP.

However, if you are going there to level, then in order to minimize your stress, fire up Skype (really, I'm going somewhere with this) and then when you get that little "rectangle" that says your call is in process, move it to the lower right corner of your screen to cover up the current listing of your telvar stones.

do not think about TV stones

    Do not count them.

You are there ONLY for XP.

Then ganking will be much less stressful.

thanks for the tips but its not about the stones, with the downtime and fighting constantly there is next to no xp gain ever

so its the best place to grind xp but your gripe is that pvp happens becuase its pvp zone and "with the downtime and fighting constantly there is next to no xp gain ever". you should get into comedy
