You aren't the only class in this game; although a lot of DK's arrogantly believe so.
I support this change and will have to adapt as finally, at long last, DK's are being brought down to the levels of the other classes. Working as intended. Roll a nightblade and feel true pain if you don't like it.
Oh trust me I'm rolling a NB as we speak. You can keep saying how NBs are weak or broken, it suits me just fine. Clearly you haven't been paying attention
I don't even know what those templars that just stand there with 10 enemies around them and are full health & take 3/4 of my HP are doing but I bet it doesn't involve 12 skills either.dafraorb16_ESO wrote: »Now they must use all 12 slot ability like the other classes and they cry on forum

Um.... Ok...monkeymystic wrote: »This is also a big nerf to ESO PVP overall, since roots in the game like encase, talons etc was part of the pvp tactics when playing against other raids.
Literally every strategy against other raids is, DK run in hit talons, drop Standard, and everyone spam Impulse, while the DK spams Talons... Throw in an oil pot and you have a party...
That, in my opinion was one of the biggest problems with the PvP, there was literally no strategy involved it is all about clustering up and spamming roots and impulse...
This is a good change, should make people use more ST abilities and hopefully get rid of some of the mindless AoE spam.
That is a strategy. You just stopped calling it that when you couldn't figure out how to counter it. Very soon your going to see some very interesting combinations with Magma Armor and when you cant figure it out, youll moan about what a no brainer strat it is. Chew on this for a while, everyone in this game doing pvp has 1 or 2 buttons that they are pressing more than the others. There is your big mental midget strategy.
Chew on this for a while, Roots have an immunity timer now, so raids need a new mental midget strategy. Roots not having an immunity from the start was bad design.

If anything, NB's need a boost. If you have damage shields combined with harness magicka (and you block) NB's run out of steam fast and its just clean up time. If you intend to spam funnel health, I wouldn't rely on it. I have a strong feeling it will get nerfed.

I cant stand bandwagon gamers. "Wahh my class has been nerfed! *shelved. ima play the next fotm cookie cutter OP build"..
Its a cc nerf, cc is bad. This is a good thing fir the game, or would be if it worked.

Where did I say I didn't know how to counter it? Thanks for assuming you know me and what I know or don't know about the game.
Magma armor is an Ult, so comparing a strategy to use against it versus a spammable root that granted no immunity is not possible...

I guess it is hard for me to swallow that playing follow the leader pressing, at max, 2 buttons is strategy to you... That's cool, to each his own, IMO, that is not strategy, that is mindless play.
MAH TALONS!

I also play a NB. been doing it since beta, and I can tell you, it still needs some work. half the abilities are still useless, and or bugged. yeah they can do good sneak damage, but have you ever tried your NB in straight up combat? I suggest you do, or when you get spotted, instead of running, try to stay and fight. unless you are just really good at the game, you will likely die.mike.gaziotisb16_ESO wrote: »Illuvatarr wrote: »Quit your crying. Ive run in impulse groups and they are doing a lot more than what you think they are doing. Sometimes the are only a one group within 2-3 other raid groups, kinda like an assault team. That's something people with tactics and planning like to call Strategy. Check it out sometime.
