That's exactly the reason it didn't before, IIRC. Roots and slows were not seen as CC (apparently because they only immobilized, but did not prevent you from attacking). This still seems to be the case, unfortunately.

Food for thought. Rune Prison is the immobilize for Sorcs, but I was using it heavily the last several days and noticed people were using the Break Free animation to get out of it... hmmm. Something is not right here. Someone would have to test this out, if you can break other classes immobilize but not Talons (It will actually say immobilize) then something is definitely not working the way it should. Then again it could have just been an animation issue with all the crazy pvp going on, but I'm pretty sure I saw break free go down and definitely no dodge.

Actually, it's a Disorient, broken by damage and -should- be able to be broken.
Unfortunately, it's a useless skill anyway.
