This gonna sound wrong since I am a businessman, but some people are good if they leave. Those bozos who only wants to pvp if they are an vampire who can instantly kill 50 people for example.

I WAS gonna start a night blade before I saw this post. It was to good to pass up. I want to play one, dual wield, because what I've seen thats where the most are broken? Can never say anything for sure. Though fixing the current patch is more then likely what zenimax is ONLY doing right now, I hope. BUT, you have to trust me when I say, I have a "gut" feeling about certain things.

Patch 1.2.X is not 2 months away. 1 week my gut says.

About playerbase for ESO (off topic but this is something I know and wants to share). Even if it sounds wierd, I am a guildleader in a small, but active social/group/quest/have fun with dark elves guild. (Link in my sig if you wanna look at a BAD page).

A community has defenetly started to evolve in the game. I speak with other guildleaders about news/progress/their view and experiences. And I get the same answers as we have in our guild. We are small, but we find a recruit every now and then, all who LIKES ESO. Other guildleaders have very simular statements. And this is as recent as thursday. I am sure the pink world or whatever bug people got from this patch didnt help, but I do see more "real" players around. Not just "race to high lvl", but like yesterday, we recruited someone who played from early access but was "only" lvl 35 (I am 37).

Our new recruit had a very simular story to mine. The game is fun! hunting skyshards are fun! (no addon).

Trying to kill a troll is something I NEVER gonna even try again!

If the game stablizes somewhat. Sure bugs, but it does need to be playable...
I think the "new" players are still buying the game. This week, next week. next month.

Maybe my enthusiasm is talking, but there are way to many things in this game to not be interested if you are a player who enjoy what ESO is.

Fek! Long post again! Blame my mother, she is a hairdresser!

So, night blade, dual wild, medium and light armor, that odd guild skill that heals everyone around you and I guess Ill try a bow!

I understand that the hardest tradeskill to get good at is enchanting? Will try that.

Now to the really important question. What race? I got imperial so I can pick em all. I do have a liking for the kajiits and lizards...but both those are GOOD night blade races right? I want something that isnt the best...hmm, A drunk nord night blade?

Yeah that's me. DW/bow bosmer in medium armor. It's hard but not as impossible as some threads here would lead you to believe.

I'm not an exploiter or power leveler either. I'm an ES fan so I read quests. But I have made it to VR7 and prob VR8 when i get home tonight.

Attention Zenimax: Stamina builds don't hold up to magicka builds, and this is causing most of your class imbalance. It makes melee weapons and bows weaker than staves and class abilities. It makes medium and heavy armor less desirable than light armor. Fix this imbalance, and you'll address most of your balance issues.

And not a single word to me? Your cheerleader through the harsh night?

I'll send my hireling to spank you!

I didn't forget you, brother. And yeah, you're absolutely right about one thing. There's an age thing going on, both in game and in these forums. Some people are middle aged professionals, some are kids. Hard to have an unbiased, balanced, lengthy discussion when you're spanning generations. Goes for in game, too.

One eye, just lettin' you know that there are plenty of people out here who agree with you 100%. You are not the only adult playing the game. LOL :) Most of what these other people are whining about incessantly are known as, "First world problems".

If you have the energy to read my post just below yours, I am saying the same thing and I hear the same thing from other guilds as well.

It notices also those times I choose to do a pug dungeon, quest with someone or just trade blacksmith stuff with.

The player base in ESO seams....better, then other games. If its an age thing, I do not know. I just meet more and more people, and they tend more then often to be nice.....

I don't have other MMO experience but I agree with that. Especially at vet levels - people are generally very helpful, will repeat quest steps to help others, etc.

I can understand the VR content being more difficult but when my pure clothie healer Templar went from being able to solo 3-5 mobs in coldharbour to 2-3 mobs max with a high chance of death due to the fact I run out of magicka normally before they die due to their higher armor/magic resist and they can 3 shot my entire life pool... and the fact you can't set quests in group to allow everyone in the group to be on the same phase it pretty messed up they pushed the game release and didn't test the full game enough during beta... so I understand why there is so much BS... keep in mind this is my first post I just hope they change their phasing system soon... it just seems like that should have been changed first in my book...

Thank you, sir! I didn't set out to do a "me vs. every other player" quest here, haha. But man, people get pretty wound up.

I hear ya! I do agree a bit with the frustrations of some of these folk, but...in the bigger picture it simply isn't anything to get outraged over and these glitches will get fixed over time, probably sooner rather than later. They know the cost of not repairing the game where it needs it and I very seriously doubt they'll just let run as is while laughing all the way to the bank.

As an adult with a profession I for one just have bigger fish to fry. Bursting a blood vessel over a video game isn't on my bucket list. LOL

Just adding another nod and thumbs up to the OP. Generally agree.

Yes there are probs but I'm going to retain my perspective in reacting to those probs. I might get mildly irritated at a bug or whatever, but in the end I really can't find the energy to get all angry and so on. It's a game and one that I have on the whole so far, really enjoyed. And what I've found to be annoying is usually fixed the next time I log in.

The game will mature. The problems will get fixed. New problems will occur etc. And there will be those who are outraged and have forum tantrums about it. And there will be those who look to discuss the probs without getting all emotional. And the rest of us will be playing the game, and submitting bug reports and feedback IG when necessary to help the devs improve stuff.

I really dislike fanboy threads in game forums...

Here we go again. Someone dares to say something positive, and they are a "fanboy".

Whereas of course all the people who post negative comments are objective and reasonable ?

This kind of thing is to be expected in any major content patch. Gone are the days that things just work out of the box. Get used to it, find the problems, report them and participate in the creative process that is the game industry.

It's this kind of sheep mentality that allows these companies to get away with this rubbish.

The ONLY reason they can release a patch like this that they knew (oh they knew) was FULL of bugs is because the industry has trained people like you to bend over and accept it gleefully.

No, it's not good enough. It's appalling actually. What's the point of reporting bugs that they already know about prior to patch release?

I get that the beancounters forced them to release the game live when it wasn't ready but did they really have to release this mess of a patch right now? It's a totally different ballgame for this patch than gamelaunch. If anything, this is going to cost them financially. I can't see any justification or excuse for it.
