@Checkmath
So, it's the 28th for me. NDA ends, right? Any insights you wanna share? Am I right to be worried?

High MMR BG's is the closest we have got to a competitive environment and when you put in the top tier BG players in the same BG , that's when you notice the real clunkiness of the class.
Your frags will be dodged / reflected due to its million years travel time. Your trash execute will be dodged
You will have DK's with 100% uptime on wings
You will have multiple sload dots on you
You will be playing in ice fields
You will be perma snared
You will be chain pulled when you try to escape
You will have multiple bleeds ticking on you
You can even expect a bunch of nightblades wearing shieldbreaker !
All those hardcounters haven't been addressed but that's how the real meta looks like. The only thing that does help is the invaluable martiach heal but it only migitates the problem. Its not in a controlled duel environment or a potato farming expedition with a small scale group or a 1vX where I admit that sorc excels right now !
The sorcs in this forum and class reps here already know this but still sorc is top tier right ? I pretty sure a mega sorc nerf is coming but the class reps really need to think about it !

So I asked Gina, what information we reps can deliver to you guys about elsweyr. Sadly we are not allowed to talk about coming general combat changes, only about the necromancer class and its skills. This means, that either you have to wait for the PTS to come (somewhere mid to end of april) or that maybe an influencer or streamer got some footage of those skills during the hands on event or when they visited ZOS.

Sorc have at least undoegeable, unlockable, not reflectable curse and finisher that can't be reflected. Your primary defense can't be disabled by potion and gazillion of other skills used by everyone. Even when rooted snared you can streak/BoL a bit to not sit in that permaroots like a duck and wait for being flame lashed.
Nope guys I've mained mag sorc since launch, switched to magblade, but still I run with my guildies on my old mag sorc because of priceless tool in group gameplay which is negate, and can say just one thing: sorc is still a lot easier to play than magblade. I used to be like you, but since I played magblade for over a year I have pretty good comparison.
