    i'm screwed for tonight then, tried to login 5 times and only just received my first code after 25 mins...so got 4 more to come yet...crap crap crap

    Tamriel is being taken over by dark forces while we are having to sit here and re-verify the IP address we have been playing on since beta.

    I Hope Zenimax learn from this and PATCH THE BLOODY GAME IN THE MORNING!

    Count me in on this as well. I'm guessing some genius forgot that if everyone has to validate post a patch it will overload there e-mail servers.

    LOL so entertaining to see the rage from people that want to play, complaining because the company is fixing things on an ongoing basis... LOL... you guys are champs.. really. Keep raging, you all look like fools. I would rather they continue to bring it down and fix what needs to be fixed, in prime time or not, fix as soon as possible, so that we can go forward properly. FYI to all you nerdragers - what they're doing is not failing, they are doing the opposite, they are doing what needs to be done so that the LONG RUN will be smooth. Expecting an MMO this big to be perfect at launch is just naive and ignorant, bordering on plain old stupidity. Grow up, go take a walk, do something else, come back when it's fixed and it'll be that much better. Stop the whining. You all look silly.

    Its a total mess, apart from not being able to login due to the code debacle.
    Bought the retail version of the imperial edition..plus registered for the 3 month plan....what do I get, a bloody mudcrab, no other imperial bonuses etc..(not bothered about following pets but that's the package being sold)..treasure maps, rings of mara...nothing.
    Got an answer from Zenimax....absolute ziltch.....

    eridian, unfortunately they are fixinf issues that should have been sorted and in place before launch. not even gameplay issues but mail servers and login / patching issues. its just very poor on their part.

    Further to that, I just received a mail from them, a mere second after this comment because it was my first comment ever here. So they can send mail quickly when they want to. Conspirational theory says that they delay the code sending on purpose in order to smooth login pressure after patch...

    I am sure they are aware of the issue. Tickets will not help :)
    Give them some time and they will fix the issue.
