Zenimax and Amazon dropped the ball.

    It appears that I can log in as well. I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but shouldn't they have made an announcement on here as they promised? Nothing on the Dev Tracker, in my PM box, or on the game screen. Don't get me wrong - I'm tickled at the possibility that our efforts actually made a difference, but this could just be an accident. We'll have to see what happens. This is that last chance we were talking about Zenimax - don't screw it up.

    I hope the rumor of the grace period has been extended is true.

    Look ZM, having a grace period that covers ONLY A WEEKEND WHEN MOST COMPANIES DONT DO REGULAR DELIVERS is, well stupid. Sorry, but plan better.

    So if not extendedc, then I can play, my wife can not. We bought 1 online IE, 1 Boxed IE. I can play, she can't. Top that with that level 10 fighters guild quest she spent 2 hours on last night because her class choice didn't give her an "i win" button and she had to do it the hard way - she was ready to quit. Which would have been fine with me - i like this game it's fun - but I only play it to play a MMO with her because she won't play FFXIV - which I love and is a truly awesome MMO and is your biggest competator since their subs are still increasing every month.

    I want ESO to succeed, because I'm going to be here awhile - but despite if this was Amazon or ZMs problem - ZM needed to step up bigger. S-E and Blizzard would have done better, and that you need to worry about.

    Come on zos why no dang word .. I seriously bought a second copy of the game just not to get locked out and your really horrible customer service gave no word but instead kept telling us we would be locked out

    So, I still have access despite the grace period ending. What does this mean? I am now scheduled to receive my game tomorrow. I want to know whether ZOS is extending the grace period for some people, or if the access I have is a mistake/bug. It would be great for your customer service reputation if you guys would release an official statement, or even a reply to these support tickets saying what has been decided, and whether the grace period will be extended for those of us who had our physical copies delayed. Amazon has attempted to contact me to make amends for failing to deliver, but I still have not recieved word from zenimax on what the negative repercussions for not being able to put in my code today will be. This means I have not been able to respond on what the shipping issues will actually cost me. This is a major issue where you guys are pushing away some if your most loyal customers simply by not providing information. We all know it's most likely Amazon's fault that we're in this situation, but that doesn't mean you guys can just say that it's their fault deal with them. You also shouldn't just extend the grace period for people without telling the people effected. If you would have come out 2 days ago and said something like we know there were problems with shipping for some customers and we will make efforts for those impacted to not lose play time, and retain any pre-order/beta benefits they are entitled to. And then when the tickets from those of us effected came in, you would have simply said, "We need x,y, and z information, and we'll extend your grace period for x number of days... Billing information still needs to be provided through our website." It would have saved a lot of bad feelings, and put the matter to bed. At this point we just want to know what the status is, and what us still having access means for us.

Why do you need to know info about an extension of the grace period for today, when your not even around to play today? Your pre order goodies will come with your game, tomorrow, if you got the physical edition, you and i will get our goodies with our physical box, tomorrow, as i am getting mine from ups tomorrow.

    Fact is they allowed people to get on the servers, so they must have extended the grace period. I'm not going to look for a speech from ZENI saying that they extended it, I'm going jump on and play, if they wanted to not allow the extension, we all would have been booted by now for sure!

    All your saying is you want a speech from zeni stating why and when/how long the grace period is going to be active for, and your not even around to play it. It wont affect our accounts in anyway, they're simply giving us extra time to play, and with the looks of it, you and i will be able to have that extension till we get our game tomorrow.

    Your entitled to know what you want, and about your account and everything, i just find it funny how your worked up over something you wont even be around for today.

    I am also able to play right now without having bought a sub yet. I also didn't have a problem with my order either. Perhaps it is due to all the sub/account issues plus this debacle.

It seams like I remember them saying that if you didn't get your game code input before the end of the grace period, you will lose the benefits of pre-ordering. If that is not the way it works, then you are right I'll be content that I can play it until I get my physical copy (assuming I have the time to do so).

    I have a feeling that even if you somehow lose your benefits, you'll be able to get them back. The Explorer's Pack will come with your box and once you put in your code from there, it should work. At least, that's what I think from the pool of information I've gathered over the past several nightmarish days.

    Your post didn't offend anyone, I'm sure. You and I and everyone else all have a right to know what's happening to our accounts. The post from @ZOS_AlanG just now was just as lacking in any kind of valuable information as usual, but in this case we don't know what's going on over at HQ. All we can do is lay low and enjoy the extended "grace period" - official or unnoficial - and hope that this gets resolved soon. Just make sure you document any tickets or chats you go through with support. Take screenshots and document your proof of purchase for all items. When things start getting straightened out, you'll need every bit of supporting evidence you can get of your pre-order and support requests. I personally have a folder full of such evidence on my desktop already :)

    We can confirm that Explorer's Pack codes do not expire. Customers can redeem their code at any time and receive the full benefits it entitles.

    My IE just got here about an hour ago (USPS has Sunday shipping here for Amazon), and I just want you all to know I had no trouble at all activating any of the codes. Typed them all in and they worked fine and I got my items in game. So like AlanG posted, don't worry. :)

    My amazon "Pre-Order" of the Imperial Collectors Ed shows "Estimated Delivery Shipping Date: April 10th". When I talked to Amazon Customer Service all they would say is that their distributor dropped the ball and failed to deliver the pre orders they sold and that they are aware and working on getting those orders filled as soon as possible.

    Im guessing the early access is over now? I was on this morning, had to clean the house and get lunch, now I am back and says can't log on. Same with everyone else still waiting on their game. Mine has been charged finally and says latest on Tuesday, but hoping tomorrow. Zeni, please let me back in to play a little bit. Hah, tonights my last night before GF agro comes back ;)

    Well I ordered it online from Bestbuy and they shipped it out late April 4. According to the Canadapost Tracker I won't be getting my box until Monday April 7. I thought the grace period was extended but I was just kicked out for not having a sub

    I had a "guaranteed" delivery date from Amazon of 4/4 and it's 4/6 and I still do not have my physical copy and now I can't log in because I can't add my subscription information without entering my key.

    Why is the grace period for entering these keys so short? I pre-ordered this like 3 months ago. I purchased the physical CE and paid more than if I had purchased the digital edition but now I'm unable to even play until I get my physical package? This is pretty damn stupid.

    I contacted Amazon and talked to a supervisor, Jordan, and he was very helpful. I called two hours later as instructed and they offered me $30 in Amazon credit for their inability to make the release day delivery. If you talk to the right people at Amazon you will get good service. Granted, I'd rather have the game now instead of the $30 credit. So I used it to buy a Samsung 128gb SSD for Scrolls and paid $60 out of pocket. Silver lining.

    I'd definitely like to play a little more tonight if I can, so if the unofficial grace period extension could be through Sunday, that'd be awesome. Either way, I should have my box and retail code tomorrow. I feel awful for you guys that ordered the physical IE that will be waiting until later this week or even longer. That's really terrible and I hope ZOS finds a way to work with folks in that situation if it extends past a few more days.

    Same, my box comes tomorrow, so im not really worried about missing a day of play time, although i can feel peoples anger when they mention about not getting it till the 10th, etc. That sucks. Hopefully they extend the grace period or something, otherwise people will just have to rant and wait it out.
