Lol ill be the judge of that when i get it :P, the statue if it has a broken piece off or 2 i can manage cause i do model tanks and the likes, and i have good glue that can be unseen and good for things like that, however the book would be a problem, as i dont want a book with the copies of the same pages.

    we will see :)

Hey, I'm another one that pre-ordered the physical Imperial Edition from Amazon (Feb 1) and it just shipped yesterday! And it probably won't arrive until Wednesday, so I'm very disappointed that I can't play in the meantime. Just start my 30 days now and let me sign up for a subscription! It seems like the early access code could just count as the game code. Why do I have to wait for my physical copy to arrive? That's a rhetorical question... I know it's because of poor planning. I just wanted to add another voice of disappointment toward Amazon and ZOS. No ESO = lame

I really don't understand why there is no solution from ZOS. This is an incredibly frustrating situation for those dealing with it, and the solution is so brain bendingly simple.

That no info other than "we have no info" keeps getting tossed in by ZOS is just amazingly stupid. It doesn't matter who/what/why/how, what matter is that at the end of the day this IS ZOS's problem. They are the company that has the most to lose here. Do you think Amazon gives a scuttler's butt about a couple hundred gamers? No, they've gotten their money, it's over for them.

ZOS in the other hand SHOULD care about a couple hundred gamers (I honestly have no idea how many people are affected here). That's a couple hundred people that are going to think long and hard about spending that $15 a month with you.

I'm just completely baffled by this non response.

I don't think there is a solution, as the solution has already been provided to us. Early access/grace period is over, time to put your subs in, or dont play.

    plain and simple.

Indeed - it would seem that this company has failed after all. @ZOS_AlanG - there is no excuse for what behavior, exactly? What there is no excuse for is the failure of ZOS to do anything for the hundreds of people affected by this problem after months and months of problems. These forums are the only way we have of communicating with you people, since apparently customer support doesn't give a mud crab's rear about us. Then again, it seems that nobody does or ever will. After months of what you call "patience", all we've been rewarded with is terrible service in support and vague messages that tell us absolutely nothing about what's going on.

I think whoever is in charge of marketing is the ***. Why not release on Tuesday like a normal release? Was having 4/4/14 so important to their marketing strategy? I guess this is a delayed April Fool's. Ha ha. Funny joke. Now let me play dagnabbit! It's freakin Sunday! Sunday is for wasting time on video games. It says so in the Bible!

I've also just been locked out of the game. Or rather, I logged out, and cannot log back in.

I've not heard from CS about extending my early access after I received a short message about sending the request up the chain yesterday afternoon.

I know a lot of people see nothing funny about this situation, but the way Zenimax is handling this is so breathtakingly inept it's bordering on hilarity for me. I mean. Wow, just wow. :|

Actually, unless Amazon had an engagement with Zenimax that there was only a strict, limited run of the IE edition (e.g., only 10,000 available), it was just doing what happens in normal supply chain. It continued to accumulate orders and, if the supply and distribution chain between them is set up this way, should have been communicating those orders to Zenimax. It's up to the manufacturer to then schedule additional production runs to meet the demand. Looks like the breakdown was between Amazon and Zenimax, where Amazon didn't get the news in time that no more than x shippers of ESO would be on their way to the warehouses (hence, no one got an early heads-up on copies being backordered).

There's probably a quagmire behind the scenes. If Zenimax's digital media pressing suppliers, cartoners, shippers, etc. have already filled their production schedules for Q1-Q2 2014, Zenimax may have been in a real pickle trying to get additional production run windows. They can't bump others ahead of them in the queue -- in other words, if Blizzard were sharing the same suppliers and had booked March for runs of WoW, Zenimax would be stuck getting in line behind them. There's simply too much tooling switch-over on the manufacturing lines and "raw material" (e.g., raw unscored and uncut cardstock for cartons, unburned discs, shrinkwrap rolls, etc.) ordering in queue for them to change with the wind. All of the parts have to converge into fill&finish stage, and all of these are likely handled by separate suppliers and vendors. It's an exquisitely choreographed process. The only silver lining for everybody on the thread is that it shows Zenimax was swamped with players anxious to get into the game.

I saw ZOS's earlier assurance that no one would lose their preorder bonuses, regardless of when the physical copy is received. I also got a very encouraging support update (regarding the separate issue of Gametime Card availability) that as long as the main game registration code (contained in the physical copy) is not redeemed, bonuses like the Explorer's Pack stay safely unactivated, unexpired, and available. Here's hoping that it also means the 30 days of free game time also don't start until you've gotten your physical copy and entered the main game registration code.

well i feel pretty lied to by the agent Travis
here is a copy of the e-mail i got from him back in beta when i found out my order would not be here on the 4th this points out they knew that amazon would be shipping late and they still shut us off on a sunday when mail does not run.

Thank you for contacting Mud Crab Union #1337 (The Elder Scrolls Online Team.)

Well to start off we understand your frustration. But rest assured though that you will be able to play with no worries. If you get your early code from Amazon ad are able to play we are not going to hold up your gaming til you get the code from Amazon a week later or so. The most that might happen is you getting Imperial specific goodies a little later do to the code being sent out later than launch. So again no worries you should be able to play without concerns of being stopped on the 4th.

thanks for telling me i dont need to worry. if i would have been told the truth i would have stopped my order and went with a digital copy.

For anything except pre-orders I love Amazon and buy from there on a weekly basis.

BUT I would advise players to never try a preorder from Amazon - I have tried them on 2 other games over the last few years and every time it has been a disaster ending up with me traveling into town to buy a physical copy from there then returning the Amazon version when it finally arrives 2-3 days late.

It is entirely acceptable for people to post about their frustrations, disappointment, or criticisms. However, all posts on the forums need to be civil and within the forum rules, whether positive or negative.

We have been working with Amazon to improve this situation, and will continue to post updates in this thread when we have them. Unfortunately, at this time we do not have a solution for those people still waiting for delayed copies of the game.

I am also having the same problem with the physical edition I purchased from gamestop.... I love the game and I got a lot of others playing it too, but now I can't join them because I bought the physical edition. :( Please give us a little extra playtime until we get our physical copies. It would mean a great deal to me and I am sure to all the others as well.

Well we can't get subs with out paying for the game again. See we don't have the game registration code that's in the box. We have to wait till when ever the game arrives at our door step, so extending the grace period for the rest of today would be great for the people that didn't get there box Friday.

So it looks like at about 1300-1330hrs early access ended.

Hey there, everyone. Just as a reminder, Early Access for ESO has ended. In order to log into the game, please redeem your game code on our account page. After you redeem your code, you'll be able to select your subscription. The 30 days of unlimited play will begin at that point.

Working with Amazon only solves the problem of unavailable copies of the IE. It does not solve the problem of being locked out of the game.
That solution is entirely Zenimax's to implement or not.

I think you mean you do not have a solution that's acceptable to the company, no? You could simply extend early access a few days. That is absolutely a solution. For some reason or another (which I'd love to have explained to us), this solution is not acceptable to ZOS. ZOS would rather lock us out of the game.

I'm in the same boat as a lot of people here, locked out with the package currently in transit -- they're saying it won't be delivered until the 10th for me.

Per @WarlordsOfMarsub17_ESO‌, I don't see why we can't just pay for access time now and then when we enter the code get a free 30 day extension to it; instead we're just entirely locked out, which is stupid.

Any easy solution is to extend early access by at least a couple days to give time for packages to arrive? How difficult is that? You could also allow Amazon buyers to provide an order# or something to get an access code? Seems like it would be far easier to just extend the early access, though!
