Actually this is incorrect.

You can't obtain a pre-order key anymore. They were stopped on the 4th when the game went live. This is the only reason why I suggested it.

Well thank you for extending the time all the way until 24hours before even overnight from amazon could "possibly" arrive maybe with this week break from the game I can decide to spend my money some where else. I spent the extra money on the imperial edition because it seems awesome, for paying the premium price I really feel like i am getting a real headache instead of the best CE. why are you rushing so hard to make everyone register so soon. customer service has left something to be desired I really hope it improves as the company becomes more experienced with this type of game and community. getting booted from the game right at 8am like I wasn't billed $108 for the pre order. I paid for the game. why wasnt the code amazon sent me a game access code? no one needs the dang statue to play. poorly planned on all of our parts I guess consumer,retailer,designer. I just figured you were in the business of making games and knew what you were about.

At this point im just happy in general i will receive my collectors edition..Just sucks ill have to wait till tomorow night. But i think others have it worse.

Amazon changed my shipping at the last minute last night before they sent it out and arrival date is stated to be...today. From the tracking info it seems to be in my city now and ready to deliver. Who knows if it'll actually show up today or not though. Guess I'll find out. I'm fine with Monday though personally, glad to be getting the item I ordered at all after all this mess. ZOS isn't likely to fix this grace period issue today, sadly, but it doesn't mean they shouldn't be made well aware of how upset their customers are about it so that hopefully in the future they can plan accordingly.

Actually no, Sunday is not a no shipping day in every city. Amazon can deliver through USPS in select cities last I was aware of. Mine is one of those cities. Also they can sometimes contract that delivery out to a smaller delivery service for additional cost. I don't know what they did honestly. I was promised my shipping would be made the fastest they could make it and that I would pay no shipping cost. So, in this mess of a situation, Amazon did good by me in their efforts to fix the problem. Their communication skills need some work though!

Lucky you, i dont think i have that in my town. ofcourse with my tracking number now i can call and see, maybe find a good person who will let me sneak in and pick it up :X

I'm in the same boat. My bank has already been charged by Amazon, but the package still says "Shipping now" since Friday but still has not shipped out... Game time expired this morning, already paid $99.99. Bleh Help us out here!

I am sorry you feel that way but be assured I am not trying to treat you bad in any way. I fully feel your anger and frustration and I totally understand your need to take it out on somebody but unfortunately, it is not my position to debate compensation.
 
Amazon has acknowledged this issue, and the company has said that if customers do not receive their Imperial Edition on Launch day (4/4), Amazon will contact them with a "make good" offer. If you have additional questions regarding your Amazon order, please contact Amazon's customer support for further assistance.

There must be a good reason why ZOS elected to cut off the Early Access on Sunday morning as opposed to Sunday night or Monday. Unfortunately it's not very apparent. Anyone could've anticipated that there would be people who ordered physical copies that did not arrive as expected for a Friday launch. To cut the Early Access off on Sunday morning just seems mean and unreasonable.

I am another frustrated customer who was expecting the "vip" treatment, since i paid 100 Euros for the Imperial Edition, a sum significant for me. And as i was told from my retailer here in Greece ( not Amazon ), they received a mail from the games' company saying that it was their fault for the delayed delivery and it is compensated with an extended grace period for the gamers. Details i will find out on Monday when i will personally go to the store. And I do not expect the game box to be waiting for me there, since noone is working on Sundays here, so lets hope it will be on Tuesday...
Having said that, i am a devoted fan of the Elder Scroll series from the Daggerfall days and i will not pretend that my frustration will keep me away from the game. What will happen though, is keep me from advertising the game, or the games' start, to a lot of guildies from the last mmorpg i was playing.
Anyways, what i find difficult to understand is the reason the grace period ends in the middle of a Sunday (?!?) a no-business day in a big part of the world and why this is not rectified yet (maybe the person responsible for such a desicion is not working on Sundays?). Plz look into the matter and until you are somehow sure all boxes are delivered around the world extend the grace period, or something with the same result. Thanks

I just wanted to note that this issue is not just related to Amazon. I ordered the physical box CE from Gamestop and paid for 2 day shipping. Box won't arrive before 7pm tomorrow.

I am sure other physical stores are presenting the same problems. The solution would be to have an extension of the grace period, 48 hours is a little light when it comes to that type of solution. It should have been 5 days imo.

I also have to note, this is the first time in my many years of playing MMOs where I don't recall having the box edition arrive on launch day. Poor planning all around imo.

Just want to state again that I'd be careful about getting hopes up here. There's been no official statement about an extended grace period. I'm not saying there is a screw up, but it is all rather odd that they wouldn't make a huge announcement. Play, but also don't be surprised if suddenly we're locked out again.

I have a ticket in. I showed proof of amazon order and that amazon had a shipment date that would get to me on Monday, and asked for a extension till Monday. ESO support responded Saturday night and said do not worry that people in this situation would be taken care off. And just tested and I can log in.
