So you answered your own question. Grace period is over, they wont fix their screw up. Anything else you'd like to answer for yourself?

    Thanks, ZeniMax Employee....

No i dont work for them but thanks for the amusing joke anyways ;), the problem isnt with me here, so don't bring it to me.

I know, as i am not getting my game until tomorow. I am in the same boat, but they clearly have told us the solution. Early access/grace period is over. Maybe considering that havnt said much on it is because it is what it is. Grace period is over, time to pay to play. While it sucks, it may be something we have to deal with as we havn't gotten a response in days of the grace period situation.

Well not really, we aren't even being given the option to pay to play at this point. Without that activation code we can't even pay for a month now (which I'm sure many would be willing to do, including myself)

Thats called the grace period ending. They told us the grace period would end at this point in time, and that we would have to do these things in order to continue to play, so dont "not really" me, because im not stupid.

Them telling us about this so called "grace period" ending means about as much as a fly on a skeever's back end because there is nothing we can do about when our games will be delivered to us. If they gave us the option to pay now despite not having a code that they failed to deliver in a timely fashion I'm sure many of us would take that option. However, they have not and probably will not try to work with us to fix their screw-up.

So you answered your own question. Grace period is over, they wont fix their screw up. Anything else you'd like to answer for yourself?

Only thing i can tell you is to locate your package unless you know its already coming, and if there is nothing you can do, WAIT IT OUT LIKE THE REST OF US.

Yes, actually. Wondering when people like you began to think it was ok to sit idly by while others step on your rights and take your money without giving something in return.

Soo them not sending you the game on release date is them stealing your money, when you havn't even paid to play yet....I see where this is going. I'm just going to exit that way. ->>>>

PS: being in the same boat as you guys, i can tell you right now they're not stealing anything. If you dont have an estimated delivery date for your product by now or tomorow, then id worry, but it seems things are being worked out over time. (besides the grace period which people want an extension on.)

Uh, they should probably feel like it's pretty damn necessary by now. I'm sure they, unlike YOU, probably understand the magnitude of players this is affecting (almost all the physical imperial edition pre-order players... i.e. the player who GAVE THEM THE MOST MONEY).

There were numerous other websites that had gotten there products out just fine, so no it isnt everybody who bought the physical imperial edition. While i do feel they need to extend the grace period, people are simply missing what im saying.

Weve been told that the grace period ended. We can sit here and cry all day, but fact of the matter is they know what is going on, and are trying to fix things. For you guys to simply sit here and bash them for hours on end, well doesnt make much sense to me.

They told us the grace period would end at this point in time, and that we would have to do these things in order to continue to play, so dont "not really" me, because im not stupid. And ofcourse you cant pay without your activation code, as i would like to as well, anybody could claim to be waiting for there game, and given an option to pay to play. thats almost like a free game, and with all the customer support crap going on at ZENI, i highly doubt they would allow somthing like that, nor have the time even if they didnt have so much going on.

What are you, my mother? I can say "not really" and expect not to be spoken down to.

And yes, not really. You stated (and I quote)...."time to pay to play" and last I looked I couldn't even do that, even if I wanted to (well unless I wanted to buy a digital copy of the game on top of everything which is a infeasible option)

Also not sure why paying them 15 bucks right now is a bad option since clearly all they care about is the money and getting their pound of flesh.
So when i say we were informed, it clearly means, our grace period is over, and nothing has changed until were told otherwise. Common sense. I hate to be so brash as i am in the same boat, and have been as i bought my i.e early, and was promised delivery on the 4th as well, but we were clearly informed. Anything else were asking for at this certain time pertaining to grace period is a gimme gimme thing, not the other way around.

Being informed and agreeing with that information are two different things. Expecting us to all magically have the game by this morning is a shortsighted and unreasonable grace period.

It's not about "gimme gimme", it's about being punished unjustly for something that was CLEARLY not our fault. We should not be held responsible for Amazon and Zenimax dropping the ball, but it is Zenimax's responsibility for making the situation right (imho)

As I said previously, I'm not asking for anything "extra", just the access I was told would be there. They can start counting my 30 days against me as of yesterday, I DO NOT CARE.

Well if they are trying to "fix things" as you say, I would love to see some sort of statement from them that they give a ****. Make an official statement so that everyone isn't in here bashing them because we don't understand how they can have a grace period end on a day that there is no mail delivery.

very few are actually bashing, they ARE venting frustration, yes. They have every right to. I'm pretty sure you'd be mad if you paid money to see a sports game, or attend a concert, only to be told that the ticket you bought isn't reaching you in time, but you can see it at a later date. some of us don't have a ton of time to play, and took a long weekend to jumpstart our leveling. regardless, people who pay this amount of money have a right to complain, and while it *may* not do anything productive, neither is sitting on our hands letting Zenimax think this is an acceptable business plan

Let's hope you didn't trip on your way out, but just in case you stayed:

    1. They guaranteed delivery 4/4/14. I have it in writing from Amazon, a vendor ZOS endorsed as trusted on their website.
    2. I have been charged $105 yet I have no box, no game, and no customer support. In This sense, yes they took my money and gave me nothing.

If you do simple arithmetic and add 1 + 2 you will get a conclusion in the form of:

    3. I was guaranteed something, charged, and not given what I was promised. This implies that I was either robbed or a victim of fraud. ^_^

Okay this whole situation sucks even more after considering refusing the game shipment tomorrow and buying the digital version tonight to play with my better half who took a 4 day weekend so we could play together. We are both free all day Monday too. Our UPS guy usually comes late in in the day :(. If I did that, I'd lose all the early access stuff. I'm pretty sure this whole fiasco is called bait and switch and is illegal. And the tool tip that's linked at the top of the forums saying the early access was to allow players to get their physical additions in time....mockingly false. And the post on the login in screen "we'll see you in Tamriel soon!" It's one thing to be positive but to be phoney fake nice is so disheartening. My pretty high interest in the game despite all the negativity in the press and on the forums has just plummeted.

So you got charged on your card, and they didnt send you any product without any type of information as to where this product is in anywhere at all?

I find that very hard to believe. My card was charged as well, but i know where my order is. Oh no they stoles money from me, what will i do!

Umm, wait for my game to come and then reactivate my acct and play.

    problem solved.

PS amazon is offering good deal packages on items, or 30 dollar credit or something, even if you do get your game late. so atleast in some way shape or form, they are compensating, but if you arent getting your game at all, or were screwed over, then that just sucks.

Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, EBGames, and I've seen other shops mentioned too. This isn't just an Amazon issue. But you must be right, of course Zenimax had all those boxes in all the right places at exactly with the right with a shipping agreement that would have worked perfectly - if only EVERY retailer with physical Imperial Editions hadn't screwed up, no one would be blaming Zenimax.

Or, Zenimax screwed up. You can pick, but I like Occam's Razor.

Because it is ZeniMax's mix up: Amazon doesn't own ESO. Amazon, I expect to f*** up a video game/MMORPG/Software release, in fact IDK if there is a time they DIDN'T do so: Last time I tried I had problems with the release of WIindows 8.

ZeniMax is in absolute control of the situation. THey can flip a swich and make this go away RIGHT NOW.

You keep saying "THEY" will let us know what is going on, but "THEY" have shown no sign of letting us know what is going on. They have made no statement whatsoever on the matter other than letting us know that the grace period has ended. I just want them to tell me if they are going to do anything about it. A statement saying "Kiss our asses and wait" would be better than the nothing they have said (Not really, that would be an awful thing to say to customers).

Well not really", and nah i aint your mother, but don't talk to me like im stupid, i will call you out on it, especially when your clearly being ignorant, as ZOS told you that early access/grace period is over. accept it and wait for something else to happen, or quit crying.

Do you think crying has fixed anything for us yet? No. THEY will let us know what is going on. The fact you want them to offer the pay option to us allows anybody AND their mothers to simply make a new account, and jump on and play ESO for free.

You think Zeni is going to hand that over to you just like that? nooo. I see them giving us a weeks worth of a grace period before i see them giving us that kind of an option, and to have to go in and out of everyones accounts even to check if they have the early access code?

Please, anybody and there mother should know by now that if they cant even get support rolling well, how would they even pull something like this off. ZOSshipped the games out on time, AMAZON got them messed up. So why do you continue to belittle ZOS and they're company when it was amazons mishap?

And you got the access that was told that would be there. the fact that Amazon didnt ship things out accordingly isnt ZOS's fault.

I thought you were exiting. Guess you either are a ZOS employee here pretending to be a fellow player or you couldn't resist the temptation to troll people who are genuinely in trouble.

Nah im not a troll. Im the same person who hasnt gotten his collectors edition as well yet, tomorow at some point i will.

But im also smart enough to realize that if they havnt offered us a grace period now, chances are i dont see them doing it.

They also posted earlier they are looking into the issue with amazon, All im trying to do is let the crowd know they're looking into it, as they belittle every little thing about the company, then a day later get the game from them, and all the sudden they love the company.

    its rather annoying.

Does anyone know if there has even been a response to this occurring yet by the companies? (maybe a thread post)

Answer is no to your question.

    Indeed it is so...

So why do you continue to belittle ZOS and they're company when it was amazons mishap?

Because it is ZeniMax's mix up: Amazon doesn't own ESO. Amazon, I expect to f*** up a video game/MMORPG/Software release, in fact IDK if there is a time they DIDN'T do so: Last time I tried I had problems with the release of WIindows 8.

ZeniMax is in absolute control of the situation. THey can flip a swich and make this go away RIGHT NOW.

THAT IS WHY WE ARE SPAMING OMG!!!!

Zenimax shipped the games out as needed, it was amazon who screwed things up. Now its back on zeni's hands to extend the grace period because AMAZON screwed up.

Good luck, as i can see why they havnt extended the grace period.

@ Reignskream, Amazon is telling us they do not have enough physical copies. In addition, other retailers are claiming THEY also don't have enough physical copies. Again, a shipping mistake is common, and acceptable, but when it's a massive shortage of a product that ZENIMAX created, advertised, and sold, then it is in fact their mess up. not allowing you to even put in billing info so we can at least PLAY is their problem (if you do not know, we had to put a code in to get early access to prove we ordered the game, so it's not as if they're going to give away "free" games) I think most of the anger is not at the late shipping, but at the fact we can't even PAY A SUBSCRIPTION to play until we get our boxed set. And that is, most definitely, a Zenimax problem.

Better question is why did they do a SUnday EXP date in the first place? IT doesn't take a genius to figure out that putting the date on a WEEKEND is A BAD IDEA. Not expecting failure in the first place and then not responding to is /epicfail

I like the fact that i can accept that they already said earlier in the thread, they're working on the issue, and leave it at that. Not cry on the forums for hours on end about a grace period. We had till like 3 or 4pm to play today, and the grace period ended at 8am.

Yall need to relax. If you know your getting your game late, ok, you know your atleast getting it, and worse comes to worse, your stuck a few days or a week without ESO. The world will continue to spin, i promise you.

If you dont know if your even getting your game, get ahold of people. Sometimes people get stuck with the bad end of the deal, it happens. I hope everybody gets a fix.

But fact is, they told us they were working on the issue. (read previously in the thread, they responded earlier this afternoon/morning.) Collectors editions arent the only bug/issue they're dealing with, and demanding and cussing and calling people trolls who are trying to make sense of the situation, doesnt help.

Sooo Zenimax all the sudden controls Amazons website on whether people can buy things from amazzon or not?

mmm, sorry, but no. Amazon clearly kept the buy now button up to long, not ZOS.

losing a day or 2 is the worst part. i feel lucky that my game is supposed to be here tomorrow. Hating that i am falling behind friends who get uninterrupted game play. Had to argue with amazon all weekend about getting a copy shipped. but i guess at least it's shipped.

In some ways, I can see the angle you are trying to take. It is no fault of yours that you haven't been following this thread from day 1. If you had been, you would have known that many of us, including myself, have stated that we have been blown off by both Amazon and ZOS. No "make good" offer was given to me by Amazon. In fact, the people I spoke to there on six separate occasions either told me they couldn't do anything for me or didn't want to do anything for me.

I was charged, my order status hangs in "preparing to ship" without resolution, and I have no idea what either Amazon or ZOS is going to do about it. I am disputing the charge on my card as we speak but in the mean time, nobody is helping me resolve this conflict.

If people posting their frustrations in the only place they know someone will see them bothers you, then make good on your earlier statement and see yourself out. What you are doing is pushing buttons and tugging on nerves that are frayed. If your situation doesn't bother you, then good for you. Other people here are truly in trouble because they have no idea when their boxes will arrive, if ever.

    "Surprise me. Say something intelligent."
