Well not really, we aren't even being given the option to pay to play at this point. Without that activation code we can't even pay for a month now (which I'm sure many would be willing to do, including myself)
Thats called the grace period ending. They told us the grace period would end at this point in time, and that we would have to do these things in order to continue to play, so dont "not really" me, because im not stupid.
Them telling us about this so called "grace period" ending means about as much as a fly on a skeever's back end because there is nothing we can do about when our games will be delivered to us. If they gave us the option to pay now despite not having a code that they failed to deliver in a timely fashion I'm sure many of us would take that option. However, they have not and probably will not try to work with us to fix their screw-up.

Only thing i can tell you is to locate your package unless you know its already coming, and if there is nothing you can do, WAIT IT OUT LIKE THE REST OF US.
Yes, actually. Wondering when people like you began to think it was ok to sit idly by while others step on your rights and take your money without giving something in return.

Uh, they should probably feel like it's pretty damn necessary by now. I'm sure they, unlike YOU, probably understand the magnitude of players this is affecting (almost all the physical imperial edition pre-order players... i.e. the player who GAVE THEM THE MOST MONEY).

There were numerous other websites that had gotten there products out just fine, so no it isnt everybody who bought the physical imperial edition. While i do feel they need to extend the grace period, people are simply missing what im saying.
Weve been told that the grace period ended. We can sit here and cry all day, but fact of the matter is they know what is going on, and are trying to fix things. For you guys to simply sit here and bash them for hours on end, well doesnt make much sense to me.

And yes, not really. You stated (and I quote)...."time to pay to play" and last I looked I couldn't even do that, even if I wanted to (well unless I wanted to buy a digital copy of the game on top of everything which is a infeasible option)
Also not sure why paying them 15 bucks right now is a bad option since clearly all they care about is the money and getting their pound of flesh. So when i say we were informed, it clearly means, our grace period is over, and nothing has changed until were told otherwise. Being informed and agreeing with that information are two different things. Expecting us to all magically have the game by this morning is a shortsighted and unreasonable grace period.
It's not about "gimme gimme", it's about being punished unjustly for something that was CLEARLY not our fault. We should not be held responsible for Amazon and Zenimax dropping the ball, but it is Zenimax's responsibility for making the situation right (imho)
As I said previously, I'm not asking for anything "extra", just the access I was told would be there. They can start counting my 30 days against me as of yesterday, I DO NOT CARE.

Do you think crying has fixed anything for us yet? No. THEY will let us know what is going on. The fact you want them to offer the pay option to us allows anybody AND their mothers to simply make a new account, and jump on and play ESO for free.
You think Zeni is going to hand that over to you just like that? nooo. I see them giving us a weeks worth of a grace period before i see them giving us that kind of an option, and to have to go in and out of everyones accounts even to check if they have the early access code?
Please, anybody and there mother should know by now that if they cant even get support rolling well, how would they even pull something like this off. ZOSshipped the games out on time, AMAZON got them messed up. So why do you continue to belittle ZOS and they're company when it was amazons mishap?
And you got the access that was told that would be there. the fact that Amazon didnt ship things out accordingly isnt ZOS's fault.

Let's hope you didn't trip on your way out, but just in case you stayed:
1. They guaranteed delivery 4/4/14. I have it in writing from Amazon, a vendor ZOS endorsed as trusted on their website.
2. I have been charged $105 yet I have no box, no game, and no customer support. In This sense, yes they took my money and gave me nothing.
If you do simple arithmetic and add 1 + 2 you will get a conclusion in the form of:
3. I was guaranteed something, charged, and not given what I was promised. This implies that I was either robbed or a victim of fraud. ^_^

TheGrandAlliance wrote: »Reignskream wrote: »So why do you continue to belittle ZOS and they're company when it was amazons mishap?
Because it is ZeniMax's mix up: Amazon doesn't own ESO. Amazon, I expect to f*** up a video game/MMORPG/Software release, in fact IDK if there is a time they DIDN'T do so: Last time I tried I had problems with the release of WIindows 8.
ZeniMax is in absolute control of the situation. THey can flip a swich and make this go away RIGHT NOW.
THAT IS WHY WE ARE SPAMING OMG!!!!

Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, EBGames, and I've seen other shops mentioned too. This isn't just an Amazon issue. But you must be right, of course Zenimax had all those boxes in all the right places at exactly with the right with a shipping agreement that would have worked perfectly - if only EVERY retailer with physical Imperial Editions hadn't screwed up, no one would be blaming Zenimax.
Or, Zenimax screwed up. You can pick, but I like Occam's Razor.
TRG_Ebrasu wrote: »Everyone is frustrated with this cluster, however lets keep it civil so the thread does not get locked.
@ Reignskream, Amazon is telling us they do not have enough physical copies. In addition, other retailers are claiming THEY also don't have enough physical copies. Again, a shipping mistake is common, and acceptable, but when it's a massive shortage of a product that ZENIMAX created, advertised, and sold, then it is in fact their mess up. not allowing you to even put in billing info so we can at least PLAY is their problem (if you do not know, we had to put a code in to get early access to prove we ordered the game, so it's not as if they're going to give away "free" games) I think most of the anger is not at the late shipping, but at the fact we can't even PAY A SUBSCRIPTION to play until we get our boxed set. And that is, most definitely, a Zenimax problem.

Nah im not a troll. Im the same person who hasnt gotten his collectors edition as well yet, tomorow at some point i will.
But im also smart enough to realize that if they havnt offered us a grace period now, chances are i dont see them doing it.
They also posted earlier they are looking into the issue with amazon, All im trying to do is let the crowd know they're looking into it, as they belittle every little thing about the company, then a day later get the game from them, and all the sudden they love the company.
its rather annoying.
