Well, since it's the best YOU'VE experienced, that must mean they have absolutely minimized this five hour maintenance! Well played, chap! I mean we can clearly see that they are working nonstop to get these servers up, right? The people you are referring to, who are complaining excessively, have no concept of what is actually going on. They don't understand programming. They just aren't getting what they want and are, as a result, throwing a fit. Your logic has no power over them.
What you guys don't seem to understand is that this isn't some 20 year old neckbeard developing a java game. This is a multi-million dollar corporation with access to an entire developer team and then some. We're also paying them. They should be minimizing the amount of inconvenience to us and at least communicating with us better than "it's broken guys im sorry ok

Uh, this is the smoothest, least downtime launch I have ever been apart of. So they have minimized it.
Again, there will never be a no downtime launch, ever. It's impossible. Common sense and history should have told you that prior to your purchase. I made mine knowing that, and did so happily. Best damn launch EVER in a AAA mmo.
TERA's F2P launch was smoother than this.2 -
