Feedback:
The cost for jewelry upgrade seems to be very higher. This seems a great obstacle to complete Master Writs (Legendary) and way too much grind!
Upgrade to legendary Jewelry requires : 8 Chromium Plating, 1 Chromium Plating = Refine 10 Chromium Grains
Deconstructing Legendary Jewelry = 1 Chromium Grain
Refining Raw Material have chance to give 1 Chromium Grain
@Lord_Dexter
Were you able to verify the Decon drop rate with max points into refining (or whatever its called). At low level, I only got 2 grains from 6 pieces of gold jewelry. Just wondering if there is a guaranteed drop if the skills are maxed out or if its closer to what live is for other types of gear which is about 50/50 in my experience.
If its the later, a max level crafter would have to decon 160 pieces of gold jewelry (80 Vet HM trial runs) to upgrade one piece of jewelry to max. Even if its guaranteed, the number is still WAY to high.
This also begs the question, should we hoard our gold jewelry until we have our crafting leveled? If we have to rely on lesser jewelry to level, it will take even longer to get there.
IMO, they should remove this 1/10th nonsense. It serves no purpose other than to increase the grind.
Just deconstruct gold jewellery, i used template character to get Endurance Set Gold Jewerly!
I deconstructed 2 rings and got 2 chromium grains. I have 3 skills on deconstruction passive.
I will do further testing, may deconstruct 20 items to check grains rate.
Jewelry upgrade is too much of grind and if it goes live as currently on PTS then everyone is going to hate it.
I'm guessing that you are gonna wait until folks get bored with jewelry to have daily writs for them, or are they gonna be in a different place than the other writs?

I did a jewelry writ last night right after getting certified; it came off the same board as smith/wood/cloth. You do have to be certified by the guy in Alinor before you can get the writs.
Seam nodes and ore nodes share their spawn locations. You need to farm ore and hope that the next time a node pops up at that same location it's a seam and not ore again.
It's really annoying and should be changed. Seams need to have their own spawn points.
I may be in the minority here, but I personally am encouraged by the apparent increased level of grind. As a disclaimer, I currently only own gold jewelry that I have purchased from The Golden merchant, don't PvP, and don't do vet trials to acquire it that way. So, no, I'm not someone worried about gold jewelry flooding the market and making those latter endeavors worthless.
I'm someone who gets bored by content that comes too easily, and enjoys the challenge of striving to reach a goal. If that goal is handed over a silver platter, suddenly it doesn't seem as appealing. This will punish me, more so than the dedicated players who can put in hours and hours of time to farm and grind the style as I only have, at max, 2-2.5 hours a day to play. And, honestly, I think that's fine.
I have never had a choice in what gold jewelry I have access to. I'm reliant on The Golden's RNG to give me what I want, and even then, I can barely afford it as is. Just the hope that jewelry crafting brings is enough to keep me plugging away and out there searching for that next seam, or that next green ring from a dolmen to deconstruct. New players and those without Summerset will suddenly have a market for all their trash set, low level, blue and green rings that currently get sold to the npc merchants or simply left behind to despawn in chests and corpses around Tamriel.
I think the secondary markets for this will be incredible. Will it hurt the pockets of the impatient whales who want to be level 50 Jewelry Masters in a couple days? Sure, but it will benefit a much larger portion of the population who can profit from the raw mats and jewelry. And based on your feedback, which if I may say, may be a little preemptive since you've only had access for a little over 24 hours, this bullish (<---- Wall Street term, not disguised vulgarity) market will continue for quite some time as the grind appears to be real.
Just relax, take it as it comes, and don't expect everything in ESO to be instant gratification.
Edit for grammatical errors
So from the sounds of it, Jewelrycrafting is not being integrated into the game in the same manner as the other six crafts.
It sounds like it's better to just give up on our hopes of having fun with crafted jewelry altogether. I'll be selling off every item associated with Jewelcrafting that comes int my possession if it turns out this bad.
I really hope this is just due to bugs atm, or that ZOS is willing to make massive changes.
I can only assume they meant boxes like Rewards for the Worthy that you have now will drop usable jewelry if you do not open them until after the update.Mystrius_Archaion wrote: »Accessory items in pre-existing storage containers like the champion cache do not have the “This item cannot be deconstructed.” branding. And can be deconstructed; allowing players to horde such caches and power level jewelry crafting while stockpiling materials.
If this ain't fixed, looks like its time to hord Anniversary coffers and the others that you get on the quests.
I have yet to get any jewelry in Anniversary boxes since start 48 crates a day.
That's because they don't drop any gear.
I don't know what that other person was talking about.
