BS right there.. Some players AGREE with you.. But that don't make your words truth.. People seem to always get that part wrong.. That you are not satisfied, does not mean something is broken.. It just mean that you have not found a way to get past it
Go into any trial and come back to me. Broken.

Or most players just don't let a video game rule their life and emotions
There are a few of us that arent happy. But sucking it up and heavy attacking are what we have to do soon. So its deal with it or move on .

Well, that's really the fault of the forum moderators. They need to ban the toxic people from the forums, otherwise the toxicity will continue. There is a minority of people here who consistently post awful, insulting things, but they're allowed to continue for some reason.ParaNostram wrote: »....We will be the ones to kill ESO. And I'm not talking about criticizing the game. Anyone should be allowed to criticize the game freely. I'm talking about the people who are consistently insulting and mean to other players.

I disagree, the game is still very well designed and interesting and I like most changes. Definitely game is not ruined, you exaggerate. I feel they work hard on ESO, definitely harder than other developers. They just cannot satisfy everyone.
And the lore will defend itself no matter the changes. We just need to be flexible and learn to adapt to ever changing environment.
You think housing is a result of hard work? Let's compare with other developers then. Homestead is badly designed buildings that were already in the game with minimal functionality created by a AAA developer team we basically got an editor, crafting stations and training dummies. Hello Games is a tiny indy developer that made base building so you can create a base using modules and building parts in No Man's Sky, probably a team of around 8 people worked on it. It has storage, functional windows, functional doors, farming, NPC's that give quests, trade terminals, containers that give resources, landing pads that NPC ships will land on so you can trade with them, space freighters you can also build a second base on.... And all of this was never supposed to be in the game so wasn't worked on for a long time. Homestead is pathetic by comparison. And to top it off the NMS update was completely free, they don't even have any sort of cash shop.
The reason NMS had base building was because they listened to the players. ESO used statistics to see how many people had max bank space as an excuse to not include storage with Homestead. They didn't even make max bank space more affordable in game to deal with the complaints, they put more space behind a pay wall with the subscription instead.
I want to play ESO because it's a good game, but ZOS make very bad decisions when it comes to the direction the game is taking in my opinion and I will speak on it because I want what's best for both the game and the players.

Yeah, Homestead was the result of hard work. It was just not the result of enough hard work, in my opinion. They built quite a bit to even be able to do Homestead. Sadly, it looks like they ran out of budget before they were really able to realize a good Version 1 potential.
I would imagine the possibility that the team that worked on the housing part of Homestead was not much larger than 8 people, and they did it over a span of probably a few months. They did not have a large team assigned to it that could create all new and unique models for the houses, but they did have a team assigned that could carve out a place in the world for these existing models to be placed and to create separate world spaces for the houses. They did not add many system features to the houses that people would expect, like storage, gardens, animated pets and mounts, the ability to see people outside of the Home, but they did add a way to allow people to visit the house and created a brand new system to allow people to place items in those houses.
So, yeah, I think that hard work went into it. I also think they stopped before it was done.

I'm not criticising the work of the people who did Homestead, but if it was just 8 people who worked on it then there's the problem. ZOS rakes in cash from crown store and subs and did as little as possible to give us housing despite the huge amount of player interest. And what we did get was basically a push to spend even more money in the crown store because I have the option of doing hours of quests I won't enjoy to be able to buy a house I like with a lot of in game gold or pay real money. And it was my disappointment with Homestead, among other low effort/max profit things before that, that made me stop spending with ZOS completely.

Fully agree the game is unplayable on Xbox and trials have been broken or unusually laggy since before Christmas especially MOL and VHRC however I switched to PC and have had no issues trials are smooth no issues whats so ever it's really a enjoyable game on pc.
That being said if you play it on Xbox then the game is a struggle to enjoy with it's ongoing performance problems and it is something ZOS should look to address considering the amount of the playerbase on consoles.
