ZOS: If we report players with Double Mundus...

will any action be taken? Or is it pointless and we should just wait a little while for the new changes which will not fix things, but at least keep us from knowing who's cheating?

Doubt it. Zos would have to punish like half the playbase if not more lol.

I'm assuming they wouldn't, but some comment would be nice.

This Mundus bug is different than the other old Mundus bug (that hasn't returned) which could occur somewhat randomly and gave people multiple buffs simply from activating different Mundus Stones. This bug requires intentional action - and means people have full knowledge that they are cheating.

If ZOS refuses to act against such players, it simply confirms that they could care less about PvP.

ZOS only bans people for either profanity on the forums or for people making real life threats to another player in game other than that they rarely ban even for CE.

What if I told you that there was 2 mundus stone bugs in the past at the same time? One was more of an accident and quite random and let you have more than 2. I had 3 guildmates each with 4 or more mundus stones. I don't think anyone ever found out how to reproduce it.
The other bug was based on intentional actions by the players. Much like the current one.

That's what I was trying to say.

    Two old Mundus bugs.

One possible to get unintentionally and also could stack more than 2 Mundus stones. This one has not returned.

One requires intentionally bugging out a particular bit of gear, but only gives you 2 Mundus stones. This one has returned.

If you reveal the cheaters here... action will certainly be taken.

    On YOU.

That's how off target ZOS is.

The add on also tells you how many complete five piece sets they're running. And when the answer is zero, they clearly aren't using TBS.

    seriously? WOOHOO :)
However, as much as I want exploiters to be punished, any serious punishments (as it should be) seems too harsh in the face of people returning after being caught using CE

This has been confirmed years ago, theres been exploits, bugs and worse things running rampant in pvp, and zos has at best, fixed said exploits no sooner then 4 months after they have recognised the issue. To my knowledge, very few ppl have been banned for cheating/exploiting, but quite a few have been banned for being nasty in chat etc and for using gapclosers a while back. Go figure.

I believe the thing with gap closers was that exploit when you could gap close up to the tower or keep in Cyro (not intended mechanics)

Dragon Leaping into keeps and behind the gate was rumored to have been bannable but never actually saw anyone get the hammer for it. The only time ive heard of someone actually getting the ban hammer was for account sharing and then they were given it back cause zos reasons.

to much truth here ^^ but when they do ban someone for something else you can bet there was more going on than meets the eye one thing for sure cheating and lying go hand in hand, most people will come and tell you my friend go banned and he was not doing anything wrong, only to find out he was running cheat engine, seen this kind of stuff before,
like the stupid post one time good players are getting banned for doing Vma to fast come to find out they were running a bugged set and doing multiple times over and over.,

zos needs to take a harder stance on cheating and exploiting other games know how this effects there game and most of then bend over backwards to keep this stuff out of the game.

In ZOS' defense: I know several people who have been temporarily banned for minor or first time cheats/exploits and permanentely banned for repeated actions. Some of them have even been perma-banned on their second and third account and are truely gone from the game.

What's nagging most of us is that there is never any public action against cheating.

While I understand why Zenimax doesn't want to publicly expose first-time offenders, I think perma-banned accounts should indeed be published (also to allow other players to check whether the cheaters return on another account). It would also help a lot if Zenimax would publish a monthly report on how many cheats and exploits were registered and what actions were taken.

This would not only calm community rage, it would also be a good deterrent for people who read about a cheat that "everybody uses without any punishment".
