Bring Back 1 Character Per Campaign

So this just happened from an AD traitor, small group of AD ( myself included ) took back Mnem from Aleswell, took it past Chal/BRK to lose it outside the door to Alessia some some ( swear word here ) AD ( with speed hacks ) takes the scroll into the slaughterfish under the bridge and proceeds to log out his AD character ( that people say he never uses ) in to his DC just to **** with us

Need to bring back the 1 character bound to 1 campaign and remove remove the AP to switch or once you join a campign you need to wait until it ends to pick a new home campaign, to stop **** like this happening, not like ZOS are going to do anything about this and I am wasting my time making this thread

TBH i'm so pissed right now to even continue playing this game now because of this

Seems logical to have 1 character per campaign, can't imagine why they took that out

Because it got really boring especially when you wanted to make alts, and it's even worse if you don't (for some reason) have the adventurers pack to get any race any alliance.

The problem with 1 character per campaign, is that ZOS would need to create 3 campaigns for each campaign ruleset. That would mean each alliance would have their buff campaign, leaving very little balance(ish) PvP.

@JamieAubrey ...first time seeing someone steal a scroll?

only saw it once myself...not a happy moment...

only thing you can really due to stop it is have it so once the scroll is placed in an enemy keep it can't be removed by the same alliance...

No, seen it plenty of times, by myself included, what I mean is that we stole it and got it to our keeps a DC then logged into his AD alt ( why this thread was made ) we lost it, the DC ( now AD ) picked it up and ran right to the slaughterfish so no one could get and it would go back to DC ( without DC having to steal it from us again )

This is why I want the 1 character per campaign back so this can't happen without having to spend the 150k AP each time to switch

I've an example: an AD player named identically to a well known dc guild suggests AD pugs take Bleakers, getting wiped everywhere else they have a swing at, off they go, get far enough into the siege to start having hope.. just to be stomped by (well known dc guild) when the bust in and I don't think anyone else even noticed the connection.

even guild/s with main leaders from each faction in it, doing each other the courtesy of avoiding each other and sending faction pugs to objectives that appease the AP hunger of the other faction.

and people expect you to the campaigns seriously. rightio

Let us keep the multiple faction characters I like to get Tier 3 on all of them then get fabulous garbage no matter which side wins (DC to win though- I have most toons there and consider it my main faction) also AD is just a bunch of idiots that have to form ultrazergs to be effective so damn right we'll use *** underhanded tactics if we have to, we're the most underpopulated faction always facing huge odds yet we persevere and we win, even when we are poplocked it's because we have a stupid number of PVEer's farting around in imperial city (just click the IC map and look at district colors on PC NA Trueflame) so there!

DC has strong(er) small man groups around the clock at the moment and the solution to that for AD is pug numbers.
Saying DC are underpopulated is a giggle really. They also have a strong zerg too , unlike EP

For AD atm however in the early hours my time, before any group of significance gets going, the map is blue and/or red to at least Fare and EP and DC are yolotrolling around until our guilds or numbers begin an effective push back to ash and brk.

I agree that eventually the map becomes mostly yellow, the organised groups leave, AD pugs over extend and home keeps start getting nailed behind them by 6-10 good players

There is only a limited number of campaigns and if you have a toon from every alliance then you are basicly stuffed and stuck with one campaign. Even worse if you have a lowbie and want them to get AP and rank in the lowbie campaign. ZOS needs more pvp campaigns for this too work.

People being able to play with friends is way more important to ZOS then rules . Stop worrying about winning . ZOS doesn't care about that stuff . This is about being social and exploiting with friends .

Put one campain side per account per campain, and a way to change characters realm side one time during one campain.

The first time you enter the new campain with a character locks the campain side youll play during that campain.

If you have alts in other realms , and want to play the campain with them, put a way you can change theyre realm, one time, for this campain.

It really doesent mater if you change realms with today "One Tamariel" , you can still play pve with youre diferent realms friends.

No, youre not the only one but I do this with max. 4 toons :P And if it goes to factions... Well its always like "my main faction (put the name here) has best players, we always play underpopulated and win while others are dumb zerglings + 2 other factions create (purple/orange/green alliance choose one) so we need to fight both sides". Blah blah blah blah... If you think like that you need to grow up, srsly. To the topic. I hate spies but I can respect that they exist as we can fight them off (whispers, TS, reputation of players), what I cant stand is exploiting mechanics like swiming into slaughter fish water with scroll, this is just #&%÷×. Carrying a scroll should be limited for only those who earned at least 100k ap at current campain, on current toon, so if you want to have a spy pls be my guest, but you wont touch my tralala. Plus it solves problem of total newbies carrying a scroll

Yes, makes no sense why its not there. 7 day cooldown once you enter a campaign with a faction. I understand some people play their multi factions legit but like all good things in life, all it takes is one person to ruin a good thing. I've seen too many times where if one faction is losing, they switch to winning factions. So instead of it being a 3 way battle, one faction gets doubled while the other stays the same and gets zerged down.

No. One char per campaign will not do.

ONE alliance per campaign. If you have EP char in Trueflame, you shall not have DC char in same.
This would remove all the bs from PvP and still let ppl to have like, one tank, one ganker and maybe healer/sorc/sDK idk in same campaign but in same alliance.

Did anyone consider that some players are continuously in the same campaign on all their characters because the other maps are either too laggy for them to enter, or they don't have any players in at all? That was the reason that all my characters are set on one campaign, I cant physically enter the other map as it is always full and way too much lag to even play. I suffer with lag with the map I am in now but at least its playable.

If we end up locking characters in certain campaigns, this will probably fill up the campaigns that are empty, but you may find that for a certain amount of days one of your characters would be locked in a campagin that you can't access because its too laggy. Like the old times, I had to get a mate to drag me into their campaign because I was stuck in Cyrodiil starting area. Wayy too laggy for some players.

I dont know where you take your knoweledge but its wrong.
Therefore none of your arguments are even viable

@quadraxis666 hold up. AD are idiots and need to form large zergs at all times. LOL. That's hilarious coming from a DC that's been known to zerg since launch. CN and there raid of 60-80 so don't blame just AD when DC has been zerging hardcore more than any faction!

On another note isn't DC zerging hardcore this campaign and last campaign and the one before last....... all factions zerg. DC is just notorious for doing it the most

The thing I noticed about DC is that most Zergs aren't even organized. It's usually just a bunch of small groups meeting up somewhere and doing there own thing.
