OVERVIEW
The Elder Scrolls Online v2.6.3 is the last incremental patch on the PTS. We’ve continued to fix issues involving itemization and gameplay, and have improved the overall stability of the client. While we’ve fixed some minor bugs with Crown Crates, most of the planned improvements mentioned in this post have not yet been implemented; you can expect to see these changes when Crown Crates are released later this year.

Thanks to everyone for your continued feedback and bug reports. We appreciate everything that you’ve taken the time to write and submit. The size of this final patch is approximately 174MB, and we look forward to seeing you in One Tamriel next week!

      • Monsters stunned by Negate Magic are now stunned for 3 seconds, up from .6 seconds.
      • Negate Magic no longer affects objects outside the area indicated by its telegraph.
      • Negate Magic now correctly removes dispellable area effects.
      • Negate Magic now displays an area indicator, and requires a line of sight to cast.
      • The silence from Negate Magic now displays a visual effect so you can tell you are silent.

    • Added Treasure Chests and Heavy Sacks to the Maw of Lorkhaj.
    • Fixed an issue where the set items in Maw of Lorkhaj had slightly restricted Traits. Previously, Shields could not drop in Well-Fitted or Sturdy, and Weapons could not drop in Infused. These issues have been remedied, and the items with those traits are now available.

    • Argonian and Khajiit player characters will now retain their finger and toe claws when the Alliance Rider Hood is worn.

    Combat & Gameplay
    General
    • Adjusted the Battle Leveling buff for player characters at levels 1-9 so they take less damage instead of having increased Maximum Health.
    • Fixed an issue where the Battle Spirit buff was not displaying in your Active Effects window while you were dueling another player character.
    • Fixed an issue where area of effect attacks were appearing to hit invisible objects.

    Templar
    • Restoring Light
      • Honor the Dead (Rushed Ceremony morph): Fixed an issue where the heal from this morph was ignoring line of sight.

    Weapon
    • Destruction Staff
      • Tri Focus: Fixed an issue where Flame and Frost Staff Heavy Attacks were gaining the splash damage bonus from this passive ability, instead of only Shock Staff Heavy Attacks.

    Monsters
    • Monsters in Craglorn group instances now have more health.
    • Monsters in group areas near Craglorn’s group instances now have similar stats to those within.

    Boss Monsters
    • Bosses in Craglorn group instances now have significantly more health.
    • Thickpelt and Longstride, located in The Rift, no longer respawn if five minutes pass after they are slain in combat. If one claims victory, the other will respawn.

    Monster Abilities
    • Berserker
      • Heated Blades no longer cause you to miss your attacks for 2.5 seconds. Instead, it now applies Minor Maim for 5 seconds.
    • Mantikora
      • Enrage no longer increases the damage done and reduces the damage received every time a crowd control attempt is made.
      • The Mantikora will no longer become engraged while already enraged.
    • Nightblade
      • Soul Tether now displays an area effect telegraph.
      • Veiled Strike’s block telegraph can now be seen before it connects.

    Crafting & Economy
    General
    • Enchanting nodes found through Survey Reports will now correctly drop twice as many runes, making it more in line with other increased Survey Report values.
    • Writ reward boxes will now more consistently drop Intricate or Ornate items based on your level or your passive, similar most other rewards.
    • Updated the Chef and Brewer vendors to sell CP150 green-quality recipes used in Provisioning crafting writs so it is based on the passive rank in Recipe Improvement.
    • Fixed an issue in which some resources were respawning at a faster rate than intended within Toothmaul Gully.
    • Fixed an issue with some wood harvest nodes in Auridon which prevented them from scaling properly.
    • Updated many mushrooms throughout early zones to create a greater degree of fungal diversity.

    Crown Store & Crown Crates
    Art & Animation
    • Fixed an issue where the card packs in Pacrooti’s hands would occasionally be invisible.
    • Pacrooti will now consistently bid you a farewell when you close the Crown Crate UI.
    • Fixed an issue where the reins on the Storm Atronach Bear mount would not stay in your hands.

    Audio
    • Pacrooti will now wait until he’s finished speaking before starting a new sentence.

    Consumables
    • Increased the duration of all Crown Potion effects. While this change brings Crown Potions a little closer to crafted potions, level-appropriate crafted potions still last longer.

    UI
    • When revealing a Crown Crate reward, the reward image will no longer be briefly transparent.
    • Fixed an issue where the "Set Active" keybind on Crown Crate rewards could display on Collectibles you could not set active due to race or gender restrictions.
    • Fixed an issue where you could attempt to open Crown Crates while your character was dead.
    • The "Set Active" keybind is now centered properly on a Crown Crate collectible reward.
    • Fixed an issue where a Crown Crate or Bundle preview would still be visible on top of the normal Crown Store view, causing collision between the two UI elements.

    Dungeons & Group Content
    Dungeons
    • Corrected various typos in the Scroll of Glorious Battle.
    • Darkshade Caverns I
      • The Sentinel of Rkugamz’s Hammer Strike ability will now consistently hit player characters inside of the telegraphed area.
      • The Sentinel of Rkugamz’s Steel Cyclone ability will no longer hit player characters outside of the telegraphed area.
    • Selene’s Web
      • Additional monsters in the Treethane Kernin will no longer respawn once they have been defeated.
    • Spindleclutch II
      • Blood Relations: You will now see a visual indicator on the map for the quest step to talk to Sud-Hareem.
    • Tempest Island
      • The Undaunted Pledge will now correctly lead you to the Scroll of Glorious Battle to activate Hard Mode.
    • Volenfell
      • The Guardian’s Soul’s Hammer Strike ability will consistently hit player characters inside of the telegraphed area.

    Exploration & Itemization
    General
    • Fixed an issue where the Spirit Stones that drop from Gargoyles in Craglorn were level 50. They will now be usable by characters of any level.
    • You will no longer see the Skinchanger Style listed if you have not yet unlocked Eidetic Memory.
    • All existing and new characters now have the wayshrines in the first zones for all three alliances automatically discovered.

    Achievements
    • Improved the wording and corrected various minor text issues on a number of achievements.

    Itemization
    • Added the Impenetrable trait to the list of traits that can drop for Monster Masks and their Shoulders.
      • This means that Monster Masks and Shoulders can now drop in all traits with the exception of Nirnhoned.
    • Fixed an issue where Rakmath in Skyreach Hold was giving incorrect rewards.
    • When completing a Trial on Veteran or Veteran Hard Mode, you will now receive a Purple-quality Weapon from an item set of that Trial, in addition to the one (for Veteran) or two (for Veteran Hard Mode) Gold jewelry pieces you'll receive.
    • Fixed some issues with a number of new item sets whose Racial Style appearance and deconstruction yields were mismatched or absent.
    • The Town Capture box for Hawk's Eye will no longer drop any melee or staff weapons for the set. It will now only drop bows, armor, and jewelry for the set.
    • Fixed an issue where some Trolls and Bannermen in Sanctum Ophidia were occasionally dropping set items that did not conform to One Tamriel standards.
    • Fixed an issue where set items from Veteran Fungal Grotto were dropping in Blue quality instead of Purple quality.
    • Fixed an issue where Bahraha's Curse and Syvarra's Scales were dropping in a limited subset of Traits. These sets now drop in a much wider assortment of traits from Hew's Bane.
    • Fixed an issue that could cause the buff from Orzorga's Red Frothgar to not reliably register as a drink for set bonuses that impact them.

    Item Sets
    • Chokethorn: Fixed an issue where this item set’s proc was not working with the Honor the Dead morph of Rushed Ceremony.
    • Poisonous Serpent: Fixed an issue where this item set’s damage proc was being mitigated based on the enemy’s Spell Resistance instead of their Physical Resistance.
    • Senche’s Bite: Fixed an issue where this item set would not drop in Impenetrable.

    Miscellaneous
    General
    • Made a number of memory optimizations that will improve the overall client stability.
    • Fixed a rare issue where your game could crash when interacting with a portable assistant.

    Quests & Zones
    Betnikh
    • Carzog's Demise: Fixed an issue where being in combat near the door to the Ayleid Sanctuary while you had a spirit quest follower would not allow the follower to complete his animations.

    Craglorn
    • The map in Skyreach Catacombs will no longer disappear in some parts of the dungeon.
    • Riza and Thamin for The Warrior's Call will now spawn more regularly.
    • Skyreach Hold: Nathrasa Shimmerscale now fights with the Scaled Court.

    Main Quest
    • Daughter of Giants: Lyris will now do a much stronger, full force punch to knock down the rock wall instead of a dinky axe swing. Put your back into it, Titanborn.

    Reaper’s March
    • Over the Edge: Collecting medicinal herbs and the scroll case can now be shared across your group.

    Stonefalls
    • The Fetish: This quest can once again be acquired by purchasing the Religious Fetish Statue from Zahshur in Stonefalls.

    UI
    General
    • Fixed an issue where manually looting an item that could go to your Craft Bag would fail if your inventory was full.
    • Updated the Items and Advancement help menu under Character Progression to better explain Equipment.

    Dueling
    • You will no longer receive a prompt to resurrect a dead player character while in a duel.

    Gamepad Mode
    • Fixed a UI error that would appear when viewing a linked quest.
    • Fixed an issue where you could apply dyes to non-dyeable slots.

    Unrelated, but similar: I've /bugged several times since Craglorn came out that the Yokudan medium gloves remove Khajiit and Argonian claws. Since the Yokudan motif is getting released with One Tamriel might you be able to poke the art team to restore Khajiit claws back to their rightful glory when wearing Yokudan medium? =3

Guess it's time to start crafting my Stam characters Medium Armor, and probably make my Sorc a Stam Sorc again since it will be grossly OP like the rest of Stam characters....

    "looks broken". Have you ever tried it? open world dawnbreaker is still better, that ulti is going to be good for duels because of the CC inmunity that grants, but that's all. The 1h&s ultimate is way more ridiculous that the 2h's one, inmortal builds weren't easy enought to made & play, so they made it easier (plus with a new set that will push blazing tanks hp up to 70k ...)

    the weapon ultis are bugged....Destro and Resto staff are bugged by being rubbish and S&B, Bow, DW and 2H are bugged by being OP

    Really unfortunate that, despite a month's worth of testing and feedback, the destro and resto ult will still be going to live largely useless. Why pay your art and animation team to create these wonderful visuals, only to have them never be used at end-game?

    And Destro staff continues to disappoint.

    That bug fix for it might have actually been useful to leave in as it would make Destro Staff heavy attacks all free AoE attacks, with lightning being able to hit multiple times and Fire and Frost staves being able to burn/chill multiple enemies at once.

    Ultimate still costs too much to justify using in any real situation in PvE with more damaging, cheaper Ultimates and in PvP, the 2 second telegraph is just a giant warning to evacuate that area.

    I admit that Shield Wall looks powerful and should probably be a bit more expensive, but that's not the same as an Ultimate that gives you the resistance of your attacker for 8 seconds on top of the resistance you already have, in addition to the CC immunity and ignoring the armor of your opponent for the Ultimate's attack. That's just ridiculous, mostly because it makes people with high resistance a liability to themselves and their teams in a fight. Moving forward this will allow glass cannons to become Tanky Cannons for a whopping 8 seconds per Ultimate use just by using their Ultimate on a Tanky character, making Tanks in PvP at least as much a detriment to their team as an asset, if not moreso.

    People have to sacrifice a lot of buffs to become Tanky, and now they're going to be outright shooting themselves in the foot by doing so, as well as dragging their entire team down with them in the process. That's broken on a fundamental level, invalidating any Tanky Characters in PvP moving forward. Now there's no reason for anyone in PvP to ever have high resistance because you'll just end up buffing your enemy, so our efforts will always be better spent on something that will be actually useful to us and not our enemies.

    In my case I will be abandoning any semblance of Tankiness in PvP and going full Glass Cannon to make use of this broken Ultimate myself, which will actually make me an asset to my team and not a detriment, as all players and all builds should be in one form or another. Obviously the Ultimate being Single Target stops it from being as broken as it could be, but the aspect of invalidating another player's build utterly by using a single ability is just flat-out broken, I don't know how anyone could fail to see that.

    I know this isn't gina's fault or anything but Jesus what the hell are these devs thinking? You're tarnishing the good elder scrolls name. And ruining MMO's at the same time. Your partners at Bethesda now have to work 10x as hard to make TES VI redeem the elder scrolls name.

    I admit that Shield Wall looks powerful and should probably be a bit more expensive, but that's not the same as an Ultimate that gives you the resistance of your attacker for 8 seconds on top of the resistance you already have, in addition to the CC immunity and ignoring the armor of your opponent for the Ultimate's attack.

    The ignore armor thing will be relevant only vs heavy armor tanks, light and medium armor already run around with no resistances when they have major fracture on them and the enemies have sharpened weapons. Ignoring enemy resistances is already present on corrosive armor, no big deal. The main problem with this ultimate is the CC inmunity, you can chain the 6 seconds CC Inmunity + inmovable pots + this ultimate.
    That's just ridiculous, mostly because it makes people with high resistance a liability to themselves and their teams in a fight. Moving forward this will allow glass cannons to become Tanky Cannons for a whopping 8 seconds per Ultimate use just by using their Ultimate on a Tanky character, making Tanks in PvP at least as much a detriment to their team as an asset, if not moreso.

    Tanks are stupid in the current meta, 0 skill involved, just stack resistences and healing bonuses with heavy armor, hold block and done. With this ultimate in the mix, they will at least have SOMETHING to worry about.
    People have to sacrifice a lot of buffs to become Tanky, and now they're going to be outright shooting themselves in the foot by doing so, as well as dragging their entire team down with them in the process. That's broken on a fundamental level, invalidating any Tanky Characters in PvP moving forward. Now there's no reason for anyone in PvP to ever have high resistance because you'll just end up buffing your enemy, so our efforts will always be better spent on something that will be actually useful to us and not our enemies.

    Being "tanky" dosn't mean "be inmortal". You should be build to survive more, not to simple don't die. Cyrodril is full of brainless zerglings running with 26k-35k health and all heavy armor with 1h&s, the meta is stupid, if this ultimate helps to mitigate that meta a bit, then welcome.
    In my case I will be abandoning any semblance of Tankiness in PvP and going full Glass Cannon to make use of this broken Ultimate myself, which will actually make me an asset to my team and not a detriment, as all players and all builds should be in one form or another. Obviously the Ultimate being Single Target stops it from being as broken as it could be, but the aspect of invalidating another player's build utterly by using a single ability is just flat-out broken, I don't know how anyone could fail to see that..

    And you will fail miserably, as a glass cannon you get 1 shoted in medium armor by any buffed dawnbreaker combo. Things are not that simple, there is a reason while the meta is blackrose...

    For the most part, yes. It's unlikely we'll be making any additional changes to the Weapon Ultimates, barring any outstanding bugs.
