Give a good reason, why mages should throw away Dual Wield or Restro Staff for Destro? In pvp
Believe us this ultimate not worth at all, Metror is still best for PVE and PVP.
I will never use Destro Ultimate for PVP or PVE, better ultimates are already available at lower cost i.e. Metror (this even gives 2% max magicka and recovery). Soul assault may be better now, will check if can use or not but clearly Destro or Restro Ultimate have no chance.
I am disappointed, Magicka Weapon Ultimates are ulseless so far and stamina ultimates are very good.

Storm does 12k in total
I don't mean to be a d**k, but seriously, did you go test meteor vs the new change of elemental storm? Literally go hit meteor single target, then AoE, do the same for storm, compare and adjust. Shooting Star gives ultimate back, passives buff your damage just slotting it, empower when casted and it can be empowered, the benefits are enormous.
If you're looking for some feedback on making them comparable, please read these forum comments, but upping damage then halving the duration is nonsensical. I'm tired of riding the ESO balance roller-coaster, please invest in testing these abilities more.
Lastly on Soul Assault, giving everyone a powerful beam isn’t a good way to balance Radiant. Especially since you can’t bash it….really? Removing counter play? Great, more damage, fine, but bashing? Come on that’s removing skill from the game not adding to a dynamic PvP environment.

The destro ultimate. I get why you did it. We wanted some burst and raising the damage while lowering the duration gives us more of that but doesn't upset your original calculation for how much damage the ultimate should do. Problem: your original calculation was in serious error. As folks have already pointed out, meteor still out-damages it and has other benefits to boot which at a cheaper cost just makes it the go to ultimate to use. I get it the desto ult has a bigger AoE, but in any important trial boss fight, I only care about an AOE as big as a meteor, and the ultimate is not big enough to prevent PvP people from simply walking out of it. For 250 ult, this thing better do something more than just damage - because all the other big ults do.
Usually when stuff hits the PTS they don't really want to do a major rework on anything, but they really need to rework that ultimate. I can't fathom why they think this ultimate should have the same cost as standard.

Listening to feedback is awesome. BASING changes on it, is not.
Just because player A doesnt like or understand weapon B, simply cant be a reason to change stuff?
My feedback: STOP MAKING STUFF EASIER!

Remember ZOS there are so of us that do have stamina characters. But absolutely hate the brute force play style. So even so, for some of us it's either magicka or nothing.
Can't really speak for others. However it seems ESO has completely lost all of the magic that made it a decent addition to the TES series. It would be a completely insult to the TES fans and serious name to have the Elder Scrolls name on this game. It's shall we say a highly Anti-Magic based game that absolutely hates anything to do with the magicka play style. Just another typical Mage hating MMO on the market.
Oh well can't say I didn't try. I guess pretty shortly ESO will follow down to the same path. That made ANet's GW2's sPvP and WvW nearly completely devoid of players. There only question is that since ESO, is nowhere near as casual as GW2. Would it even take that long for most players. To abandon this title, company, and members on the staff. Only time will tell.
Anyways have fun with your Mage hating MMO. May there be warm sands in your future.

You must be 50K + magicka and around 3.5k spell damage, channel time is 4 second.
Bow ultimates deliver similar damage and even that does not require you to cast (morph)..

On mag sorc empowered with entropy it should show over 90k and and it'cost 85 ulti. Maybe dual wield with detonation will return.

Guuuuuys. Please understand, that you can't fully empower damage over time effects

I think You can if skill is channeled.

No. Beams are even worse than dots.
Dots at least get their first tick empowered.
Beams like soul assault completely ignore empower. Just tested it even

You can only empower dots with a first direct hit (for example vamps bane) but not those with only dot-damage (for example wall of elements).
So, only a 20% increased damage on elemental storm ? Seriously...
Meteor without any boost still does 30% more damage with far more utility and less cost. The frost version may be useful now in pvp, and even here it short duration will wreck it utility.
Soul assault (a morph) now does the same damage as rapid fire (the base skill). The utility is a little better for soul assault, but the ballista morph for rapid fire is still far better.
The imbalance is still here.

Yes, but they said on the power lash thread that it will be fixed next maj. CC+CC immunity for mobs, but not for players.
