Come again? It was exactly like this while the original subscription scheme was in place, as well.

With the exception of the year I've been away, I see no significant difference in the alarming frequency of unscheduled maintenances now from what it was in closed beta or the first half year after launch.

I guess we should consider it a feature by now.

Agreed. I've been playing MMO's since the late 90's and I have played many different MMOs in the intervening years. Downtown, even when it stretches on, doesn't annoy me much. It's just part of MMO life. However, when there are a lot of issues, it's a different story. When we start seeing a pattern, it's really a problem. Lately there has been more issues directly following a patch.

At the very least, let the players know that's being looked into.

Also: Warn the players before you take down the servers. It's not just polite but politic.

Ok i am out... i am getting constantly pissed recently by ZoS and their customers services - eh i meant customers *** up.

Servers laggy and down all the time.
Rollbacks
Lags and exploits and so on remain unpursued

I'll go for another game for now.
See you in a month (if your server hasn't exploded since then)

It's NOT maintenance....they just have to call it that. It broke. They need to fix it. And I doubt they set out to break it

I'm not certain that this is true. It is certainly true that you do a good job of notifying players within game whenever there is the weekly scheduled maintenance, however, whenever there have been unscheduled maintenances such as this one, I do not recollect ever receiving an in game warning.

It is also not logical to expedite a process 'to prevent further loss of progress' when expediting the process might cause far more people to lose their progress for whatever in game activity they were involved in.

Thats very nice of you but in prime time? Seriously? You guys must consider not only changing your useless employees who can't repair the game but also refund for EVERY player. Even without subscribe. May be even in-game presents. Because turning down servers in prime time is just... Violently

Those "useless employees" make playing this game possible in the first place. Those same "useless employees" are who will have the game back up and further rollbacks not happen. Hate to break it to ya, but replacing those people will not do any good. In fact, it could very well make things worse!

You people really need to chill and think with a level head. Your anger issues are so fargone not even Jack Nicholson could help you.

No warning, no countdown.....and don't say we posted it on the forums because naturally if you are in game doing a pledge, trial, DSA, etc. you are not going to say..."hey give me a minute guys, I need to check the forums to see if they are taking the servers down before we kill this last boss."

At what point did you, ZOS, decide not to inform the players IN-GAME that the "Server is going down in 15 minutes"
